This place was quite busy for a Monday evening. We were the 4th to wait to speak to an associate which actually didn't take as long as I thought it would. Stopped in without an appointment to exchange/upgrade my mom's phone. The Verizon associate Nyle went above and beyond to assist myself and my mom with the process and walk us through the steps. We appreciated his patience as he explained everything slowly to my mom and he was also able to assist transferring everything over from an android to an Apple. read more

I walked in looking for help with a return of a phone, a gentleman approached me, he didn't give his name, I had to look at his badge to get it. If you're greeted by Jeremey I suggest you ask for someone else because when I was returning the phone, I did a factory reset before I got there but he spoke so fast telling me I needed to do this that and another thing before I turned the phone back in and left me to figure it out myself. Will never go back to this location. Went to get a new phone , turns out I have to pay for it outright - no biggie , was going to. when checking out the phone kept coming up at half price , employee said it was odd but kept going along with it- even saying "well it ain't my problem if it's not right- you saw I tried to fix it". I proceeded to ask "Do you want us to come back, if it's giving too much issues we can come back" she replied "No no, we can proceed - not my problem if it keeps coming up the same way". Gave me weird vibes but proceeded anyway because I should trust the workers. Then 2-1/2 WEEKS LATER I get not just 1 but almost 5 calls from the employee to ask me if she can give my phone to her manager . As I am on the phone with the manager who acts no better then her employees stating "well it was a glitch in our system" - well the way your employee acted - she didn't care about the glitch. she proceeded to ask me about my schedule and when I can come in and where I work- very unprofessional. She was very pushy and disrespectful blowing my phone up And talking to me the way she was - I had to get back to work and she proceeded to say "I'll call you Thursday and check up" - No my boyfriend will be handling it because he was also there that night I am fine with paying the rest but to the way the workers proceeded with this issue was very pushy, unprofessional and disrespectful Horrible place- I advise everyone reading this to go somewhere else. read more

Stay away from this store! Solutions Manager Craig Wilson was aggressive, rude, and completely out of line talking down to other staff - to the point where I was uncomfortable being in the store. I purchased an iPhone 13 online and had issues with the battery from the moment I started using it. I immediately called customer service to notify them of the issue (while I was out of town for work) and they told me to head to my nearest Verizon store to replace the phone. My first issue with Craig was that he removed me from the waiting list when I went to my car to sit and wait for the 45 min wait time. I walked back in the store 15-20 min later he told me he took me off the waiting list and did nothing to remedy the problem (such as putting me at the top of the line). When Craig handed me off to a sales associate the first time, the associate said he could help me and when he went to ask Craig for the number to enter in the tablet, Craig started talking down to the staff member making hand gestures pointing at his eyes and the staffers eyes making me highly uncomfortable. I left the store and called customer service again and told them about my horrible experience and they assured me the store would help and they noted he should help me in the system. This time, I brought my boyfriend with me because I told him how rude and uncomfortable Craig made me in the store. Not 1 minute into our conversation, Craig got aggressive and started again refusing to help me which sparked a conversation about how rude he is. A sales associate, Jim, was wonderful in calming down Craig and simply helping me understand why the store wouldn't help me - after 2 calls with Verizon customer support assuring me the store should help me with my request. Moral of the story, Craig has NO business in customer service and I highly recommend any individual who needs help to stay away from this store. I've been to this place a few times, and I'm not really happy with how the place is run and how I was handled as a customer. Let's start with something I've noticed every single time I've been there; only 2/3s of the staff are on hand at any point in time. Now, I don't know if they're on break, or doing some back of house tasks, but it's not a wise idea to show up from out of the back and then retreat back in there for reasons unknown. It makes me as the customer feel like you're ducking out of helping, especially since I'm not really seeing you do anything but moving around, nothing in hand. You also are now expected to have a decent wait, though it does depend on the day. The other big issue is that they seem to never want to help you directly and just shove the work on others. I walk in with a broken phone, wanting to buy a new one and get them a sale? Foist it off to insurance and gives me the wrong info to actually get my replacement. I had to look that up and do the set up myself. Need a case to protect my phone? Nahh, we don't stock it use Amazon. Screw this place. read more

I went in today after setting up an appointment. I took the time to have my son with me in case I didn't understand. I'm having multiple issues. I wear hearing aides and can connect through blue tooth and have no volume. the man never touched my phone. blamed it on my hearing aide. I asked about a phone better suited to hearing impaired (I would have bought one). just kept tryin to get me out of the store and to go to Apple store. this place sucks and i will switch carriers before I go here again. it is AWFUL read more

do not buy here, they do not follow up or let you know when your device arrives and then it's sent back to corporate.... the district manager will not assist you and will scam you into a defective phone. and then tell you to deal with customer service but fails to disclose that they will send you a refurbished device not a new one after you purchased for full price.... do not buy a phone from Verizon Buy from apple and get apple care. Horrible service at the Smyrna location.... Also is it even legal to not be given another point of contact above the district manager? The district manager refused to give out who his supervisor is???? Again, I would never purchase or work with Verizon again... will be transferring other lines to another provider. read more

Fast service. Super nice greeter. Our sales guy Brandon was kind of pushy. I can't imagine how hosed people get who don't know what they're talking about from a tech perspective. Good thing I do. He treated my husband like he was an idiot and kept trying to up sell and obviously was irritated when he said no. This can be a decent experience, unless you get the one salesperson who is more like a moody French waiter. That coupled with the fact that when you buy a new phone, they don't transfer your files from the old one and don't even activate it. I called Verizon help line and they never heard of this and called the store. They were told that they don't do this unless the customer asks them to. I did, but to no avail. The employees in this store are simply the rudest salespeople I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I recommend avoiding this store at all costs. My saleswoman seemed like she hated being at work, and did everything in her power to avoid helping me. I didn't understand how to upgrade my phone and how much I would have to pay for a new one and both salespeople I dealt with gave me a very uncomfortbale feeling as though I was a very stupid person. How can you treat people like they're stupid when they don't understand a system your company purposely makes complicated? Honestly, I am buying my new phone at Verizon's website just to avoid those salespeople getting any commission or credit for the sale.
