October 20th, 2025…read more To whom it may concern, I visited your store located at 2736 Medina Rd, Medina Ohio 44256 about a month ago. I wanted to upgrade my Apple 13 Pro and Series 11 watch to the 17 Pro and Series 11. The salesman said that they did not have the watch or the phone in stock but had upgraded versions. I told him to order the items I wanted. We also talked about keeping my existing plan and with the trade in I would pay about $22 additional each month over 3 years and that included the $7.50 for the phone service on the watch. About 2 weeks later I tried calling the store to see if the phone and watch had arrived. I found out that the phone store does NOT have a phone line and talked to Verizon directly so they could message the store. I did not hear back, so I just drove to the store. When I arrived, the phone and watch was there and the salesman asked me what deal I he had given me. I told him about the $22 per month but that I did not want a payment plan and just wanted to pay it all up front. He then told me that since the order was already started, he would have to cancel it and that would take about 48 hours. A week later, I showed back up at the store and asked a different salesman about my phone. He came back and said there was not a phone and watch for me. I told him that I already saw the phone and watch and that it is in your store. He finally came back with the phone and watch and asked, "What deal did the other salesman give me?" I explained the $22 and that I just wanted to pay it in one lump sum. The salesman then told me that that deal is no longer offered and that the prices have almost doubled. I told the salesman that was a classic "bait and switch" and that I will not do business with your store and I left. I called Verizon, and had to get that order cancelled since the store did not do that. I assumed that with my phone lines being with Verizon for the last 21 years, they were happy to honor the original deal. I have started posting this review on other sites to inform customers that they are NOT a Verizon Dealer, but an authorized dealer and it appears that the price for every contract fluctuates based upon the day, and who you talk to. I can reliably make this accusation since every time I talked to someone, they always have to ask what price I was quoted, instead of the sales person looking up the price or just honoring their original quoted price. We go back up there at 4pm and was told it's still not ready to come back in 45 minutes. We get back up there at 5:15, get the phone and leave. 2 hours later the phone blew up! I take it back up there this morning and they tell me a technician needs to look at it and says it was the charger and all they can do is give me a $75 store credit as if I would EVER purchase anything from them again! They also took the battery out that they replaced when I went back up to get the phone back. If the battery was not the cause of the issue then why wouldn't you leave it in there? Seems shady to me.

The woman who answered the phone (she does not deserve to be called a lady) could not have been ruder. Not only that, but it took three calls to get the phone answered. When she finally did answer, during the course of the conversation, she admitted to me it was a slow morning, which makes me wonder what she was doing that she couldn't answer the phone. In trying to get to the bottom of the matter, she became impatient and hung up on me. I called back 2 times, and she ignored my calls and did not answer. What she did say, is that she had several calls like mine that morning. I did get to the bottom of it and would have called her as a courtesy with an explanation so she would know as a help to other such callers and herself, but didn't bother. (Why should I?) AVOID THIS UPS STORE unless, of course, you don't mind or enjoy rude treatment.
