Hired this company to fix my wifi to print to a old school printer. $141 seemed reasonable. Tech showed up 1 hour late. Tech was at my house for 4 hours, never got it fixed Tech sold me $100 of his own gear from the trunk of his car, shady but I agreed to get this done. Still couldn't get it working. Said that he would reschedule tomorrow. As he is driving away, another $500 charge on my card. $741 later, 16 emails, 4 phone calls and this company refuses any type of refund. Horrible. Terrible. Called to have my google nest looked at since the AC wasn't staying on properly. Figured we needed a C wire. When the tech arrived he said it's a liability issue and he doesn't install C wires BUT on the website it is advertised that they do install it. When he arrived he asked for the instruction manual but I said we don't have it. He played around with the nest wiring and came down to saying it's the C wire and he can't do anything and I was still charged the full amount. For nothing in return when I knew I needed a c wire. I reached out and voiced my concern and they came back with a 20% refund. DONT waste your money on these people. Call your local HVAC rep and they will be so much more helpful and cheaper. read more

HelloTech is a lousy company that doesn't stand by the contractors they send out. Their contracted technicians are not customer-oriented or professional. This technician Richard mounted the television too far to the right and refused to rectify his mistake. He said he'd have to charge me to both dismount then remount the television; therefore charging me twice for $220.00. I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes when I requested to speak to a supervisor after attempting to get an update on the matter since the work was completed badly. read more

Tech showed up at the first appointment an plugged in the tv, sound bar and dvd player. Then he tried to hook up the internet by connecting it to the Dish TV outlet. But couldn't get the internet to work, duh! Xfinity came out the next day and fixed the internet. But I still can't stream on my tv or connect my computer to my wifi printer. Booked a second appointment with HELLO TECH for today from 9am to 11am. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP, no one ever texted or called. I have called their phone numbers all day and have been on hold for up to an hour at a time. SAVE YOUR MONEY and Don't call Hello Tech for anything...ever! read more

Hello Tech was able to come out quickly for installation of 3 Google Nests. I had trouble with installing the hardware into an interior brick wall and their technician quickly affixed the Nest to the wall. The tech installed the 2 other Nests but did not thoroughly test them so I had to have Hello Tech send another technician--fortunately they came the very next day and resolved both issues. Overall, I was happy to get the Nests up and running in 2 days, after attempting to install one myself. I did recommend to Hello Tech to thoroughly test each installation before leaving. read more

I used this service 3 years ago and was very satisfied and recently bought a membership and scheduled two projects, mount a new 70" TV in the great room and move the old TV to the bedroom and remount it. Tech showed up on time, I showed the tech how high I wanted the new TV mounted and when he finished it was too high on the wall. He said that is the best he could do because there was a cable outlet plate in the way and it could not be lowered any further. When I suggested he remove the plate and lower the TV 4" he said I would have to get another tech and WALKED OFF THE JOB! I had to spend the rest of the afternoon scheduling a new tech and asked for a supervisor to call me and had no response. A new tech was scheduled, he too showed up alone and I had to help him lift both the new TV and the old TV onto their mounts. I did not mind doing it but find it unreasonable for the company to schedule a single tech to work on mounting large screen TV's for their own safety as well as the customer. The second tech did a good job but the whole experience was less than acceptable and I am very dissatisfied. Based on their original lack of response I am not expecting any follow up. read more

I was told a price of $187.69 and my debit card was charged $260.50 I booked a TV mount install on 8/13/2020. The price I was told was $187.69. The tech came to my home this morning and installed the TV. When he left, I received an email that says I was charged $260.50. This was $72.80 more than I agreed to. When I reached out to the company, I received a response from "Liberty C". She told me that it was an extra charge for it being over a fireplace. Neither the tech, nor the company ever explained this charge to me. If the tech had mentioned the extra charge, I would have politely declined. read more
