I got a new phone which had to be activated and setup. Most important, all the data from my old phone needed to be transferred to the nev phone. Dustin was terrific. Blaze met me at the door. I explained I needed a manager since I had a POA to use. Blaze signed me in and was pleasant and efficient. Soon Enoch the manager helped me and spent a long time trying to locate my sister's account in Virginia. After many calls and texts the verdict was that Virginia has a land line system that is not easy to access. I didn't have enough info to continue. I was disappointed but understood and will recommend Enoch for doing all possible to help me. read more

So to the wary consumer, this is an "authorized retailer" ... big difference is customer service. They are willing to take your money; yet when the veil is reduced they are not in it for you. 2 watches with confirmed delivery and oops, can't find them. First came UPS and the other FedEx with CONFIRMED DELIVERY. Contacted corporate and the store down the street had the order in stock, confirmed, and ready in 1.5 hrs. Also gave me a bum phone, not willing to fix it. Yep, the corporate store is ready for pick-up in 1.5 hours. At least Verizon honors customers. BUYER BEWARE... STARE FAR AND CLEAR!!! They dared to say delivered meant it was, " in delivery." I showed him the screenshot that had been out for delivery and delivered. I hope they are investigated for theft. read more

After being with another major carrier (who will remain nameless) I switched to Verizon a few years ago. The rates are a bit higher but well worth not having as many dropped calls. Yes, the dropped calls still happen, but not near as often and they're very rare, usually when I'm driving on the interstate. Yesterday was my first time at this location. We were in the market for an iPhone 6, to add to our plan for my nephew. We called around and this location had one. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were assisted right away by Tristian. He was fast, friendly and professional. He sold us on the gel screen protector so well that three of us bought one for our phones. They're $20 and a lifetime guarantee. Tristian put them on with a manual contraption. I've bought a few other protectors and I've had to put them on, they end up bubbling up... not these. As a matter of fact, one had a partical under the protector once he put it on and he took it off and put on another one. If that were to have happened with one of the old protectors, I would have been out of pocket for two protectors. Can't beat it for satisfaction guarantee. When I'm ready to retire my iPhone 5, I'll make my way back to this location. read more

My experience has been overall good with the store, this is the one I have used since I moved to Lexington. I always got well informed and helpful staff to advise me on phones that fit my budget. So why this rating. The software seems to be either outdated or buggy and takes quite some time to purchase things or set up a phone. Specific to this store, there seems to be a constant understaffing issue. The other day I needed to buy a charger. It turned into a 30 minute wait for one of the two employees to finish with their costumer. Once they were done they called on someone who only then did I realize was waiting in the back. The staff judged by my sigh that I was a bit frustrated, as I was ready to just set the charger down and go somewhere else. He asked me whether I only needed the charger and let me pay for it quickly. The staff noted that an additional employee was going to arrive in 2 hours to reduce the wait and apologized for the wait. I will definitely not return to this store for chargers or other phone necessities besides buying a phone. read more

People visiting this store should be aware that this is an authorized dealer rather than Verizon corporate location. This means that there can be considerable variation in the pricing (i.e., this store is likely much more expensive). For example, I recently purchased a phone that had a list price on the Verizon website of $576. In this store, they tried to charge me $650 for the same phone. I was already halfway through the data transfer when I realized this. To his credit, the sales person tried to work with me on the price and got it down to ~$610, which is as low as he said the computer would let him go. But had I known this was the case, I would have just driven a little further down Nicholasville to the corporate location and gotten the same phone for much less. The store was clean and the sales rep capable and nice, but it's still not worth getting ripped off. read more

I was in the market for a gift for my wife. I stopped in to this location and was greeted promptly by John Campbell. After qualifying me for what I was looking for he quickly suggested the blaze fit bit. He gave me a full demonstration so I could easily give instructions to my wife of how to use it. Of course my daughter was present when I gave it to my wife which led to her wanting one. I was able to call Mr. Campbell, secure another one. He had it ready for me as soon as I retuned so I didn't have to spend anymore time in the store. I went into this Cellular Sales store yesterday after having visited the corporate Verizon store the day before and I was blown away by the fantastic service that I received! The employees at the corporate store were all unenthusiastic and weren't able to help me file an insurance claim for my broken iphone, but Duncan Bell, my sales representative in the Cellular Sales store, helped me file my claim and transfer my contacts and photos from my broken phone to my new phone. Every other time I have gotten a new phone I have lost all of my pictures, but my wonderful sales representative was able to save them! He was friendly and outgoing, as were all of the other representatives in the store. It wasn't a busy time, so while my new phone was getting set up the other representatives asked if I needed any help with anything else and kept me entertained. I would absolutely recommend Duncan Bell, Luke Foulds, and Shawn Glassford to anyone who needs help with their Verizon phones! I will absolutely come to them for all of my Verizon problems in the future! read more
