Always the rudest store you can ever walk into. I walked out again today. I will be changing my service provider. I have been with Verizon in the city of Las Cruces since 2001. You would think they would care about that, but they do not. The young man, very young man that helped me had to make himself important by being rude? How do you keep business being so rude? You don't. I obviously have been very patient, being there so long, and they just lost me. All I did was walk in to buy a cover. Goodbye Verizon! read more

Horrible service! They were rude to my dad and yelled at him when he told me over the phone that they did not want to work with him. They refused to help him with setting up his phone. They claimed they didn't have enough time because they needed two hours to transfer data when it took another store 15 minutes! The manager, Nathan Barreras, is not equipped to be a manager, he has no customer service etiquette, is rude, lazy, and needs to work on his anger management. Even one of the other employees was trying to work with us to work things out whereas Nathan was condescending and treated my father demeaningly. This is sad and unfortunate, I have never had an issue with Verizon, on the contrary, all the customer service I have received in the past 15 + years has been great. read more

just wanted to thank the representative at the Verizon store on Lohman in Las Cruces, NM for helping me and my Dad figure out the best way to get his damaged phone replaced. Verizon keeps throttling my service, keeps cutting off my use of the Hotspot feature and keeps lying to me about what is going on. They obviously don't mind wasting my time. They said that they put an investigator on my case to have me believe that they are actually doing something to "fix" the issue. If Verizon doesn't want my business then just say so. read more

My husband's phone suddenly completely died. Walked in and the guy signed us in. We were 3rd in-line but when we told him the problem, he plugged it in, reset and we were on our way in less than 2 minutes!!! And he showed him how to reset it! Crisis avoided. read more

I went to Verizon to start service with them. After a credit check, I was told I needed to provide my social security card to verify it was me and it could take a day or more to start service. I popped into T-mobile and I Got two phones for the price of one. I also got 3 phone lines for less than Verizon wanted to charge me for one phone line. I'm so glad the credit verification didn't work out. I'm really loving T-mobile. read more

We had a very pleasant experience at this store. Their representative, Priscilla Morales, greeted us at the entrance and assisted us immediately. I was experiencing a technical issue with my phone that their online tech support could not resolve. Ms. Morales listened to my story, checked a couple of things, asked a couple of questions and the repaired my phone within a few minutes. She then conversed with my wife regarding billing questions, service options and her own phone concerns. Ms. Morales answered all questions to our satisfaction. At this point, Ms. Morales demonstrated a number of phones for us and quoted pricing as well as options off the top of her head. Wow! My wife has a new phone and accessories, my phone is fixed, we have a new (better) service plan and we have a great new friend. Couldn't ask for more. read more

I have been with Verizon since they were the only game in town and my cell phone was a brick. I came to this store to get a new SIM card for the unlocked phone I had just purchased across the street at Best Buy. I HATE being lied to. I wasn't in this store for more than 5 minutes when the first lie began. #1. "We'll be right with you..... #2. We don't hand out SIM cards. #3. Your phone should already have a SIM card installed . #4 We can put the sims card in your phone BUT you have to have the phone in hand so our representative can make sure it is installed correctly. #5. Your old phone will work until you go online and activate the new phone. I am thinking SERIOUSLY about changing providers after 30 years of being loyal to Verizon. Take note...I may be a boomer but I have the KSA's to put a SIM card in a freakin phone! read more

My son lost his phone. I called Verizon to get his line transferred to another phone. They said he would need to go into the store to pick up a SIM card and they would put his name in the notes authorizing him to pick it up. When he went in the store the woman he spoke to said she couldn't help me because he wasn't authorized and when she asked her to call me she stated that "they don't do that" so my son had to go back home to call me. Unbelievable! I called the 1800 number to try and speak to the store and was on the phone for 47 minutes only to find out that they don't have a number. So you can't call the store and they won't call you! Awful! read more

My husband and I switched to Verizon from our previous carrier. Somewhere during our number transfer something went haywire and our numbers weren't working. We came into the store to get our issues taken care of. Daniel helped us out and was amazing! He was very knowledgable, thorough and friendly. We will definitely be back! read more

They don't let customers use their restroom. Very poor experience. They told me to go to Chick-fil-A and use their bathroom. Needless to say, not only did I not upgrade my phone, I immediately started researching other carriers. read more

Verizon has the best cell coverage. That's where the positive stops. I dread having to go in and make any changes. The staff seems to think everyone knows everything about cell service, plans etc because they do. I went in to create my on account with the simple request that my bill be under $80 a month. device is paid off and I have an employee discount. I was assured by the representative that I talked to in store and the one they had me speak with over the phone that it would be. I asked to see the number and they just showed me plan cost, not insurance tax etc. Signed up with my Verizon this morning and my bill is $88.06. They just process you through without a care. If there was a better choice for cell coverage I would move in a heartbeat. read more

I have been to this store several times and have failed to get any issue resolved. They seem to work to find ways to not help you. If you need technical help forget going here as they talk the big talk but lack skills to help you with technical problems. The store is new and nice but the employees do not look professional and they do not dress professionally and should be an embarrassment to Verizon. It is difficult to tell the employees from the customers off the street except they carry a device to get information. Your experience may be different than mine but this is how I see this store. read more

Although there are a lot of stores in town that have the Verizon logo, this is the only corporate store. Have been there twice now and waited for a total of maybe 10 minutes during the lunch hour. The folks here really know their stuff especially the ladies! They looked at our plan and told us how we could save a lot of money, so if you haven't changed plans in a while check it out! read more

I had not updated my phone in years. I found out that customer service at Verizon is lacking in knowledge. They will sell you a phone. But they don't help you set it up. They are in a hurry. They can't wait to make the sell and get rid of you. I had a question about the apple I bought. He said you will have to call Apple with that question. I stuck with Verizon because I have had them over 20 years. They need to provide instructions with the phones. If you need help. You will get better service calling the 800 number or ask a family member who is good at setting phones up. read more

Will never deal with Verizon ever again! I lost my phone. I went to Verizon and bought a replacement. Paid in full with credit card. Kept receipt in file. Then Verizon charged a different amount for a second different phone and paid itself with my credit card. I disputed it all the way to the top. I was told it was not their mistake and apparently I had purchased the second phone. Simple solution: I asked that they send me the paperwork indicating so. They did not. My credit card refused to pay it. Then months later, the charge appeared again. It took about a year to resolve this. Verizon never compensated me for lost time, their lack of service, their greed and their dishonesty. The only conclusion I could come up: Did a Verizon employee buy themselves a phone at my expense? What else? If so, Management should have simply resolved it! These reviews need a "zero" choice, because this review does not deserve even a "1" star. read more
