Worst cell store ever dealt with. This store is advertised as a Verizon store. My father took my son in to have his phone fixed. Battery expanded and popped open phone. Said they cannot fix and it is not covered by warranty even though I have full warranty coverage even extended and the website states the insurance does cover repair/replace. My elderly father helping me out to bring my so was lied to by sales associate Nick P. Instead of explaining how to go through ins they LIED. As I explained my father was just scammed into upgrading just to get a sale rather then doing the proper thing or giving a choice. Made it seem the best choice was upgrade to save most money and less problems. My father went ahead with upgrade and after all said and done the salesman Nick told my father they couldn't take my sons phone for trade in credit because they are only an authorized dealer for Verizon and need to take to a corporate Verizon store and they will take the phone and issue the credit. After being told this I reviewed invoice and first I notice they had the sale listed under my name but an incorrect address in NC. No trade in credit so billed 1110.00. I spoke with Verizon corporate and was told cannot bring trade in to another store and esp no credit will be given due to the battery busted and popped open part of phone. They also told me INS WOULD COVER THAT AND THATS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED AND ADVISED. I called this cellular sales place and spoke to the Manager, John, who insisted I was told wrong and all my father was told by them was the truth. When I questioned about invoice showing wrong address but with my name for billing he insisted it was an error. I told him my dad had pointed it out to salesman and received an explanation stating it's not anything to worry about. It's their system and as long as my name was correct that it was fine. (UHM WHEN DOES A COMPANY ALLOW ENTERING INCORRECT BILLING INFO ON A SALES INVOICE FOR NEW MERCHANDISE AND NOT WANT TGAT CORRECTED TO MATCH FOR THEIR OWN ACCOUNTING OR TO AVOID A PROBLEM IF EVER I NEEDED TO CALL AND THEY ASK ME TO CONFIRM WHO I AM FIRST AND I GIVE MY ADDRESS BUT IT DOESNT MATCH WHAT THEY HAVE? THE AMOUNT OF HASSLE AND PROBLEMS TRYING TO RECEIVE HELP?) I pointed out the problem with this to the manager John and he then changed his story and said oh yes it happens with our system but it's ok as long as name correct. I pointed out all the problems and deceitful wrong doings and he just got annoyed and didn't want to explain anything else and just offered with nasty tone if I wanted to bring phone back and get refunded. I wanted to find out what happened and how to fix and he wanted nothing more to do with the situation. I then asked if I called corporate would they agree to this billing issue being blown off. He just again got nasty and said how he has customers to help. I explained I was a customer but he didn't want to bother I asked for corporate phone number and he was annoyed by that. I also asked for district manager name and contact info and he immediately sounded worried and then got nasty saying oh no I'm not giving you that information. After a few exchanges he finally gave me the email for his district manager. Then when I wanted to confirm name he said a few things about wasting his time and then hung up on me. I will be contacting both district manager and corporate company to let them know the kind of people working and representing their stores reputation and reporting them to Verizon corporate. The manager is a joke. Even tried telling me to call back and speak with nick the salesman and got annoyed when I told him HE is the manager why would I go to nick just for him to need manager to help fix. Horrible, uneducated, manipulative, ignorant, useless manager who doesn't give a crap about policies and customers that aren't just a quick upsale unspoken person. Do not go to this store. You will be ripped off or manipulated by probably most who work there. If any honest good people employed there you deserve better! I wish I could rate this store a 0. Cellularsales Verizon authorized seller and promoted as Verizon store. Follow their own corporate rules and do not follow Verizon's corp rules so you will not receive the service you are entitled to from Verizon. You will lose out on many of benefits and service you pay for because not an actual Verizon corp store!! Make sure you deal with a corp store not third party or this is what happens. If I wasn't paralyzed that manager would have been dealing with me in person! read more

Verizon - Their review and expression of their store and experience you'll get. None of it's true! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey

I walked in trying to activate a new phone on my account and Jonathan jumped in to help. He did his best and in reviewing my account he also made a suggestion for 5G internet which is available at my home. Jonathan mentioned that I can save another $5 on my Disney+ account with the military discount, which they weren't offering earlier. Overall Jonathan saved me $50+ per month as long as the internet is successful. Thank you, Jon! read more

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at any store in my life. My husband and I walked in to get help looking over our bill and were greeted by JOHN. He asked how could he help us and I responded by saying I was hoping someone could help us lower our phone bill. He instantly had an attitude. He said you can do that on the my Verizon App and instructed us to do that instead of him helping us. I replied I understand that but we wanted to come here to have someone go over it with us. He was so nasty, he looked our account up and proceeded to tell us we were getting the best deals and that we should have went onto the app in the first place. My husband then started to get an attitude and was like hey buddy don't talk to me like I'm some piece of shit there is no need for the attitude. John flipped and was like the moment you walked in you had an attitude and start getting angry and told us to go somewhere else. When another employee started to come over and calm the situation, John couldn't stop he was just going on and on about how we did this and that. My 3 year old daughter was sitting on the chair patiently while all this is going on in which I walked over to grab her hand and walk her out as he was standing up as if he was about to touch my child and pull her out of the seat. I will never go back to that store. John does not need to work in customer service. I will be contacting everyone I can to make sure he can't treat anyone else that way. read more

Thank you Josh for the superb customer service! Our transfer to Verizon was seamless

Elder Abuse My mom is 80 years old and her flip phone died. She needed a new one and since I am in California she went to Cellular which is an authorized dealer for Verizon. They charged her more for the phone than Verizon said it should cost. They charged her a $40 activation fee which should not have happened since I am an existing customer. I did call Verizon and got most of these charges reversed since I know what they are supposed to charge. I would stay away from this establishment unless you want to get ripped off! read more

Professional and helpful. Fast service. Ashley was wonderful, funny and pleasant. Got me the best possible prices.

We needed to switch the whole family over from another carrier. Brian was incredibly patient with me in getting all the correct approvals needed to do this and set up our new plan. read more

I thought this was a Verizon store not a reseller! Brian led me to believe it was Verizon! I was somewhat surprised by the fees and then to learn it was not Verizon. I left voicemail for Brian with no call back from him. Avoid this operation. read more

Went in to buy a new iPhone for a Christmas present. Customer service rep was professional and informative at explaining the upgrade plans and the various differences with phone models. Never felt pressured, he explained the breakdown of costs and actually saved me some money on our plan. I have no problem recommending them if you are looking for a Verizon store. read more

SENIORS BEWARE!!! All those nice young boys in suits are just waiting for folks like you. They prey on your lack of knowledge of high tech items and add ons. Specifically, Will Newman overcharged my dad a total of $95. Will Newman charged him $40 to transfer his info from his old phone to the new phone, which anyone under a certain age would know, is not necessary. Also, another $55 for a screen protector that I found online for $7.99!! Will Newman, you should be ashamed of yourself!! I got my dads money back. Jokes on you Will Newman, my dad has been in Lacey longer than you're alive. He has many friends and family in town. He is on the board at Pheasant Run, the senior community in Lacey. EVERYONE and I mean everyone, will know what you tried to do. You should just quit now. Word travels like wildfire THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE. ITS CLEVERLY DISGUISED AS A VERIZON STORE. SAME AS GOING TO BEST BUY OR WALMART. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO HELP YOU. THEY ARE LYING IN WAIT TO STEAL FROM YOU!!! read more

The day I was leaving for vacation from North Jersey to Cape May my current phone shut off and would not charge or turn on (it was old). Stopped on the way down south at Lanoka Harbor store. The sales person Dan R could not have been better, he was able to get me a perfect replacement for me (I do not get the latest phones), and set me up in record time. I would highly recommend this store and sales person. I could not thank him enough. Always have been a big fan of Verizon. read more

My phone wasn't charging, so I took it to the store to see if maybe they could help me out. I forgot the girls name who helped me, I think it was Ashley - she was AMAZING. She patiently tried like 4 different chargers, and then while we were waiting she was able to help me with other things I had issues with. Super professional and polite, she went above and beyond to help out. When it was pretty clear that my phone wasn't going to charge she helped me contact support and guided me through every step. I just want to say THANK YOU! You were awesome and I really appreciate the help! read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. These people make deals they don't follow up on. 6 months of fighting to get what they told me and still nothing. Trash!!! I have reached out a dozen times. No one fixes the problem. Terrible. read more

Go to a real Verizon store. I felt like I was walking into a judgemental frat house. I wasn't pressured, but I think that's because they a- they didn't know what they were doing and b- were too busy making faces at each other while I was talking. So uncomfortable. This place is full of hidden fees, insanely high restocking fees, and immaturity. read more
