We purchased a hot spot device and service for an employee several months ago. We never received the device (it was always in transit). When we tried to cancel the sale 3 days later they would not cancel it. After numerous attempts to get our money back, the manager said we could not get a refund because it was past 30 days. I don't know how 3 days is more than 30 days. We still have not been reimbursed. I absolutely do not recommend this store. We contacted Victa's WeCare and they were initially responsive, but because the equipment we purchased was for someone else's account, they will not talk to us. Today I had the best experience I've had at Verizon to date , I've been a customer 5 years. They had a customer service representative in named Edsel. Super patient knowledgeable and his willingness to make the calls while I was at the store instead of handing me a phone number and sending me on my way was super appreciated. Personnel was eager to help when they were making a huge commission off three new phones and an Apple Watch and $900 worth of accessories, but trying to get info regarding the back ordered Apple Watch has been less than fantastic. Ordered 1/9/2023, it's now almost March, no watch. No response from store manager after calling days ago. Spoke to Verizon and they had no answers either. Very frustrating. read more

Everyone that works at this location is so awesome. I went in to add my mom to my plan, and she had never backed up her phone...so they let us leave her old phone there while we got lunch to wait for the backup. Of course switching over her old number was a hassle on my end because I didn't have the information from the old provider, but they gave me all of the information to call to port over the phone number to my mom's new phone. Like a dumbass, I left the screen protector box at the store and you have to register it for the warranty; I called 2 minutes before closing and Jenny sent me pictures of the box and SKUs I needed! THEN my mom's phone wasn't doing something right, my mom drove down to the store the next day and they took care of her right away. Needless to say...this team goes above and beyond what they need to do for their customers. I really really appreciate everything they've done for my mom and me. read more

Very disappointing service here. First, the facility is not ADA friendly. The only seats available for waiting customers are tall bar stools, which are impossible for someone with advanced Parkinson's disease to sit on. After waiting for 5 minutes I had to ask someone if they could get a chair from the back. The sales associate said she would get a chair when she had a moment. Meanwhile, my aunt with Parkinson's can hardly stand up. Fortunately the associate was able to bring out a somewhat ratty looking office chair in just a few minutes for my aunt to sit in. The real disappointment came when finally talking about the plans available and the different options. The associate kept rattling off numbers and flipping from screen to screen on her iPad showing me different options. I asked her if she could get a piece of paper and write down the different options with associated prices so I could see a comparison. Well she got the paper. She wrote one number on it and then started entering numbers in the calculator, and doing the same thing that she was doing before. No help here. She didn't seem to be willing to help my aunt or I understand the options or negotiating any other possibilities for my aunt who is on a fixed income. Overall pretty disappointing. I was told by the rep online when I upgraded to my iPhone13 that they couldn't install my screen protector, but I could just go into any store and they would install it for me. Well I went into this local store and instead of a friendly smiling face willing to help me out, because I have essential tremors and was afraid that I wouldn't be able to put it on myself, I got a rude, no, we can't do that, it's against our policy. I said if he messed up mine, I would buy another one from this store. Still no help, no, it's against our policy. Talk about customer service!!! NOT!!!! Horrible. I'm from out of the area and a Verizon customer for over a decade. My phone wasn't charging as I was driving and I wanted to see if it could hold a charge or if I needed to order a new iPhone (which I would have from that location if needed). The service girl told me I have to buy something to try the charger! I'm lost and alone and the lack of decency was deplorable. Do not come here if you expect help. read more

The worse experience. Purchased a new phone a week ago, didnt like it so I returned it. There is a 35.00 restock charge, they told me they couldn't restore service to my old phone, which they eventually did, one week later my account shows old phone but still shows I owe 370.00 for new one and my account doesnt show I'm available to upgrade so now I sit in limbo. Never will I ever use Victra again nor do I reccomend them to anyone else. Go to a true Verizon store or go through corporate. My service and experience with corporate Verizon has been excellent. My contact person has gone above and beyond my expectations. The, who I assume was the manager at victra was rude, unprofessional, and it was a less than pleasant experience. Never again! read more

I purchased a new IPhone online and wasn't comfortable trying to transfer data from the old Phone. I called Verizon and they made an appointment for me at the Lakeport store. On arrival I met with Lola, who was very friendly and understanding of my ineptness lol. She took my new and old phone AND my Apple Watch and updated, transferred, and verified everything was there. She also updated my iPad that I brought in. All the employees there were so very helpful, and told me ANY time I had a problem or question about my apple products to come in and they would be more than willing to help me. I must say I'm not sure why there were so many negative reviews because my experience today was exceptional, and I will definitely be returning to this store. Thank you Lola and the gang. I went into the store not really sure what I wanted. I was torn between the Google pixel 5 and the Samsung S21. I ended up deciding on the Samsung and had been assisted by marco. He was very professional, helpful, ann super friendly. He assisted me by getting my phone completely prepared along with accessories and making double sure that all of my information had successfully transferred from my old phone to my new one. I would recommend working with marco at the Lakeport Verizon wireless store any day :) I will say there are 2 things that you would need to know about the Samsung as 21; It does not come with a charging adapter but does come with USBC charging cable. Also, if you have a wireless charger at home, it will work with the phone but you will not be able to have one of those pop handles on the back of the phone if you are using a wireless charger. It does have to lay flat down on the wireless charger. read more
