I mentioned the $10 off to him. He said the guy with the long hair did not tell him that I had a code. He walked a few steps into the room behind the register and asked the guy did I tell him about the code and the guy confirmed that I did. Because he wasn't told about this prior to ringing me up he will not honor the code and give me the $10 off. This is terrible customer service and I will not return.

I told him and he then told me that 4 screws were missing, a film that was suppose to be behind the button at the bottom and the screen was missing behind the speaker at the top. Of course the glass broke or cracked right up by the speaker. The apple tech told me that if the screen or mesh was there it probably wouldn't of broke. Well the items that I told Shawn was missing he had a comment about each item. Then he took an old phone out of the trash and said the only way it could of broke is if you slam it down like this. He slammed it down on the floor in front of me, how unprofessional it was to do that and also just call me a liar right there in front of his mom or mother in law that was standing there the whole time. He asked me what do I want him to do. I told him that I wanted him to make it right. He said he would cut me a check. I told him that I would even pay for the glass, he said no he was going to refund the whole amount. He looked at my husband in which he didn't say anything because I was dealing with it and asked him should he send the check to his work. Shawn does business with the place where my husband works. He also said that he had some wood at one of his sites that had dirt on it and he didn't know how that happen and he was going to send it back to my husbands work. My husband replied okay. Now keep in mind my husband was not involved in it this time he didn't even say a word. How unprofessional was that. Well, it's probably been about 2-3 weeks and I haven't received a check yet. I probably won't never see it. I will let everybody know what Shawn did to me.

I say all this to make the point that The Computer Doctor in Greenville is by far the best experience I've had. He took my Dell laptop that was booting up at a snail's pace and CONSTANTLY updating for some reason and, after one overnight's work, had it running so well it was unbelievable. I'm not sure what I had done to mess it up so badly, but he fixed it. It now boots up in less than 2 minutes (used to be it could take up to 30 min) and is running like a charm. We were not made aware of a "buyback" or "restocking" fee. We were told we had 14 days to try out something and if we weren't satisfied we could come back and find something else no charge. This was not the case as we came back and were told there would be a 50$+ fee to switch phones. We were lied to by the employee, which could've been a simple mistake, but a costly one for us. We would expect the store to come in and reimburse us for such a fee we were not made aware of but that was not an option. We will be exploring better options the next time we are in the market for cellular.

I had casually searched to trade in my current phone for an iPhone 13 for a few months. I had…read morevisited several AT&T stores and kiosks at Sam's Club in several locations and was told at each one that they could order one for me. I preferred to wait until a location had the phone in stock and could do the activation and data transfer for me instead of having not-too tech-savvy me attempt to do it. This location is an authorized retailer, not owned and operated by AT&T. I entered and asked if they had the iPhone 13 in stock, and was pleased to hear that they did. The employee and I quickly chose the model and color, and the amount of exchange allowed on my phone. I then waited while the employee did all of the steps needed to get the phone activated and transfer my data to it. Another employee was kind enough to offer me bottled water to enjoy while I waited. Over good experience.
