Beware of Verizon Cellular Sales in Garner, NC I went to the Verizon store in Garner, NC, and they offered a good deal: $600 off for changing plans or $400 off for sticking with my plan, both requiring me to give back my phone. They even agreed to let me return the phone after a month because I was traveling for my wedding. But when I came back, they claimed I was one day late and only gave me $25 instead of $400. When I asked for my phone back, they refused. After hours of talking, they only upped it to $95. They insisted they had explained everything clearly, but it sure didn't seem that way to me. It feels like they'll say anything to close a sale and then backtrack. My advice? Stay away from Verizon retailers like Cellular Sales and go straight to Verizon. Don't get caught in their trap like I did. It's not worth the hassle or the feeling of getting ripped off. Both my Mom and I, went to this location in order for me to get another Samsung Galaxy J3 smartphone since, my Samsung Galaxy J3 smartphone just had died because of a broken touch screen! The guy named of Andy was very helpful while, some of the other employees were not as helpful as they should be. The customer service phone number wasn't all that helpful too the sales person (Andy), and too me as well since, my Mom knows that I needed to have a new phone! After spending two hours over there, it became a nightmare for both me and my Mom as well! Now, we are not blaming Andy for all of this since, his hands were all tide up but, it's the Corona Virus excuse that Verizon has been using!!!!!!!! Andy did his best he could. Where do I start. I really do enjoy verizon services, but when I transferred from At&t, I was told I would recruited $600 and an additional $800 to trade in my Note 10 plus. I asked the sales rep, if I but the zfold 3 does verizon have any offers to upgrade early in case I don't like the phone. I was told yes, that was a lie. I really appreciate the rep for calling to ask me how I like the phone and services, but if they cannot directly help me with my current issue then why bother. What I was not told: verizon broke down my $800 credit for a phone I had paid off and divided it over 2 years. If I decided to pay it off early, I lose whatever credit that had not been applied. I got the zfold3, the phone is really nice, but the maps, and Android auto still have alot of kinks they need to work out. I wish I stayed with apple. read more

After leaving one Verizon store my husband and I went to this location to change our plan and replace our phones. Steve was so patient with us and explained step by step what plans are available. He did not try to sell us more then we need. After an hour we were very happy to have 2 new phones. Steve said come in anytime we don't understand how to use the phones or have any questions. The repair center is right there too. The hours of operation are great. It was easy access to store, which is very large, and comfortable. We can not say enough good things about our experience. read more

BEWARE. I purchased a cell phone here. Everything went smooth. 10 days later the phone locked up, restarted, and lost functionality. I called support to troubleshoot. Afterwards support said to return to the retailer for an exchange. I went to the retailer with my phone and they told me they could not exchange my phone (that no retailer would) and that support should have sent me a new one. The retailer gave me Verizon tech supports #. I called Verizon who promptly told me that I was within my 14 day exchange window and that the retailer should replace my phone. I went back to the store with Verizon on the phone and only then did the retailer say he would do it. So he lied to me and reluctantly exchanged my phone. We were looking for a white iPhone 11 128g. I called around and finally found one in Garner. my husband and I drove the distance because first of all they were open, while most Verizon stores are not during Covid, and second they were open until 9 PM where most closed at 5:00!! My husband was supposed to order the phone so it would be here in time for my daughter's birthday but he did not so we were desperate. I called the store and spoke to the nicest young lady on the phone she checked her inventory found the phone and set it on her desk until we got there. And that was the start of our experience. Nija was fabulous! Extremely Knowledgeable, and my husband is not an easy man to deal with. he likes to find the best deal and lower our price however he can. She went through every option with him explained everything to a T and she ended up saving us money in the long run. we went in to buy One phone we ended up with two phones and a better deal all around. We both walked out of there saying Nija was absolutely amazing, very intelligent,very knowledgeable of Verizon's policies, packages,and she knows her product very well!! This is the first review I have ever written on yelp or anywhere, but Nija and Our whole shopping experience is worth it!! Oh and did I mention she ended up having to stay after they had closed for 30 minutes while she set up my new phone and could not have been more accommodating about it.
