I recently moved to T-Mobile from Verizon after 10 years with Verizon. Verizon loses your online payment. takes 6 days to locate it and then bills you a late fee while the payment was in their possession from day one. After I left Verizon they sent me a final bill which I attempted to pay online with no success because they deleted my phone number in their database. This subsequently took visits to 3 different Verizon stores where they informed me I had no closing balance and to ignore all Verizon following correspondence. What a sh-t sh-w. Find another carrier. My phone was going dead and I had to buy a new flip phone! Yes, I use a flip phone. I had to transfer my contacts to my new phone which wasn't easy, the Assistant Manager Katelyn Woolfrey was awesome! She was also helping another customer who already had spent a couple of hours in the store! She got us both taken care of. It took a while but she did not waiver! I had a fairly decent customer service experience the first time I visited this location. Unfortunately, they were unable to get the issue fixed during the visit and they setup an Apple Store appointment for me to further troubleshoot my phone. After spending hours at the Apple Store, it was determined that the phone was fine and that Verizon itself was causing my phone to only have service for less than 30% of the time. When I returned to the store with the Apple results as instructed, two employees would not even look at the Apple Store write up. Instead, they repeatedly said "there's nothing we can do", offering zero recourse and acted like this is a normal occurrence for Verizon. This is my worst experience with a Verizon store in the 20+ years I've been a customer. read more

Disappointed. Wrote an honest review on the leading search engine that has mysteriously disappeared regarding my experience at the Verizon Store in Central Park Fredericksburg location. Nothing violating their policy, however, Verizon does spend an erroneous amount of advertising money with this search engine. So much for objective and honest. At least Yelp will post the reviews as written. I was with Verizon Wireless and Verizon Fios for years. Recently they made a decision to increase my wireless rates 10% to force me to upgrade to a new more expensive Unlimited Plan with less features. I believe this was due to Hulu and Disney price increases and Verizon feeling the need to pass the costs onto its' customer base with older wireless plans where these were included free of charge as long as you kept the existing plan. When Verizon reached out to me regarding my review on this search engine, I was asked to complete their survey so they could look into this matter further. I was happy to accommodate and give a fair assessment of the situation I was put in and how I feel profits were placed above customer service and satisifaction for myself and others with the same plan I had. I completed the survey and never heard back. Not surprised. If they looked into the account as well as the article posted on CNET in February of 2024 regarding Verizon price increases I included in my review, it was obvious there was no response they could offer. If I could give this place negative stars I would. They don't even deserve one star. Absolutely lousiest customer service you can imagine. I literally waited there for three hours. They have two people working. This is unacceptable. No one even came to help. I literally needed something that took me probably 20 minutes at most. The employees were literally standing around with customers who had no idea what they wanted. And the employee just literally stood there staring at that person. They could've taken care of other customers while that customer decided what they wanted. Instead they could have an express line to take care of immediate problems. We made a quick stop to pick up a Bluetooth speaker on a gift certificate. While I was looking at the displays Braxton asked my wife what I was looking for, ran to the back, brought one out and asked if it was what I was looking for. Right brand of but I wanted the larger speaker so I could zero out the gift card. He (Braxton) went and grabbed the larger one. We were in as and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. We have been to this location a number of times. We have become an iPhone family. Today we had the pleasure of having Andy help us out. He was great! Took his time with us and gave us everything we asked for. We were there about 2 hrs and not once did he make us feel like we were using up his time. The best part-he remembered us from a year ago! A while back I was having phone issues so the person I that was helping me told me they ordered a new one and I would have to be home to sign for it on a particular day. I took off work early to be home to receive it and it was a no show. I called Verizon customer service only to find out it was never ordered. About a year ago I was there looking for a tablet, little kids had the tablets hogged up playing even after trying to jump in and look at the tablets, after 10 minutes enough was enough. It should have been obvious to any half way observant staff the kids were just playing and I was an actual customer looking to buy one. Gave another chance (mid July 2020) and once again I regret it! Ordered a new phone thru the Verizon website (S20+) and chose to pick it up at this location. Bought a case for the phone. When I asked about transferring everything over to the new phone and activating it I was told they are no longer doing that at the store to minimize the amount of time being in the store. I just spent $800+ between the phone and case! I live in the sticks where my phone is my only communication with the outside world including internet which I explained to the person! If there is an issue I'm stuck making another trip which is a 40 minute drive each way! Rules are guidelines but there are always exceptions! It's still sitting in the box and likely won't leave there till I take it back or sell it! read more

I have done nothing about my phone yet. I was spitting mad when I posted the first comment and forgot his other ridiculous comments. I switched to Message+ when I bought this phone. Getting messages to download and send have been so frustrating. I told the guy at this store that I had very slow service at our house, under 3 mpbs. Yes really! He did not acknowledge any surprise. Without ever taking my phone out of my hand, he looked at my storage, which I told him was NOT the problem. He ignored me and then said 'you have plenty of storage". So then I asked if he could please look at the settings, as I may have set something wrong. At this point he referred to the business card he gave me, told me to get in touch with them. When I questioned slow upload and download with the Message+, he said he didn't know, he used the original Message program. And my speed problem was also probably hardware. Oh I am just fuming again. What a line of BS to feed me. oh it's the hardware...what a 'dip...stick' Why do you have to suck so bad Verizon? Could he have become such an a...hole because I told him I bought it at Costco. Those people are always spot on, epic when it comes to manners, totally about customer service. Is the guy at your large, mega square footage store actually a Costco flunkie? I manager both my personal household of five and a large company with many Verizon devices, so I'm in the store pretty regularly. I have ALWAYS had incredible service from the employees. Yes, there is a wait, but it's a busy office in a central location in Fredericksburg. I think they handle the work load as well as anyone can. Today's experience was exceptional. We went in to get an iPhone for our daughter on her 16th birthday. The staff helped us find a great program, at a great price when they could have easily not given us the options. Not only that, they treated my daughter like a princess. They walked her through the selection of phones, accessories, etc... They were funny, personable and really catered to our family. As I said, we've always had great customer service from this store. When you read some of the other ratings, I wonder what store they are referencing. I routinely come into this store to manage our accounts. Often there is a wait, but I never see any of the employees goofing off, they are engaging customers as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, they can't control how quickly the customer before you gets to the point or makes a decision. I would make sure that you have time to wait in the queue, but I've always walked away satisfied with the employee and the help I've received. Going during the middle of the weekday is usually the best time. Nights and weekends will mean a bit of a wait. read more

I had the absolute worst experience at this Verizon store. I went in to get my phone upgraded and the man helping me kept disappearing for 10 minutes at a time to send emails!!! The workers were incredibly dismissive of me and my friend and all we wanted to do was upgrade my phone. Finally he gave us a new phone and when I asked for help setting it up he told me that it would take forever I he helped me and that I should go somewhere else and get it taken care of there. She said I was not the account holder and she could not help me. She refused to help add me to my account as an account holder, refused to talk to my account holder on the phone, and told me I had to have them call customer service and then come back. I work in sales and I understand being occupied with a customer but you are always to greet some one as they enter and let them know some one will be with them. My family and I transferred our lines from AT&T three weeks ago. We all got new iPhones and all was great. Customer service was wonderful about helping us switch. Now two weeks later these horizontal lines show up in vertical columns in the LCD screen. My husband takes my phone back to this store and is told that they have never seen this problem before. (A quick Google/Youtube search shows we aren't the first this has happened too.) So, after some time talking to the store representative and an online customer service agent he is told that they will replace the phone under the manufacturer warranty. Unfortunately, they don't have any in stock, so we will have to wait until one comes in. Hopefully, by the 27th, if not sooner! Apparently the store is not told what is in or when they will receive a shipping. This is in order to prevent theft, but they will "try" to hold one if one comes in. Wonderful!!! My husband is also told that we can purchase a new phone at retail, have it shipped to our home and then come back in and trade the broken phone for the credit. Again wonderful!!! With Christmas right around the corner let me just spend another $750. A week later we call to find out if they have received any phones since we had not heard from the store manager, Chris. Nothing matching my current phone had come in and we are told that he never told the online customer service rep that he planned to contact us. So, I guess it is on us to contact the store to see if anything comes in, since they receive sporadic shipments and can't be bother to actually contact us. A call everyday after 1 PM would be best. Love it!!!! GREAT Customer service when they can't be bothered to actually look out for their customers. On his behalf, Chris, did call back about 30 minutes later that an iPhone had been returned, unfortunately, it was not the same as the phone I purchased. Now forward to today, when my phone is getting progressively worse and I stop by their store to see if they have gotten anything. Well, now apparently the issue with my phone is my problem because I must have dropped it and the problem is no longer covered under manufacturer warranty. Seriously....So needless to say that I lost it on the poor sales rep, and of course Chris was there and proceeded to tell me that I must have dropped the phone and that I should have taken what he offered on Saturday or that I need to go ahead and buy a new phone at retail....All in all very disappointed in their customer service and in particular this manager that doesn't know the meaning of the word. read more

Staff is usually very helpful here. Great central park location. On the down side this Verizon is ALWAYS busy, but they do seem to get to you fairly quickly. Parking area can get full. They stay open till 9 every night but Sunday, so their hours are pretty good. read more

I was an idiot! Yes, switching to Verizon was a horrible, terrible experience. Verizon features horrible customer service, no manager to talk to in their offices....for instance you have to deal with one of their Woodbridge offices for complaints and to return items , some offices only do this while other offices only do that, brain dead employees who are incapable of explaining their services, charging for items they don't tell you about...one of our bills had $160.00 in charges that no one told me about....,the store said that I should have known, complicated ways to pay...some of their ways you have to pay a fee, some of their ways you have to pay only cash, and other ways only take credit cards. read more

Bad business! I took my IPhone in one day because it wouldn't charge and they told me my phone had been water damaged and had been opened because the stick was removed. (keep in mind I never opened the phone.) Plus, I didn't have insurance on the phone to get a replacement which would've been $500.. At the risk of being redundant, this store is terrible. As others have stated, there is always a wait and usually for no reason. They are friendly enough if you ever get to talk to someone. They can't always answer your questions however and their accessories are way over priced. I would never recommend buying anything at this store. Go to Amazon for accessories and go to the statelite stores on Plank Road for service or a new phone. You will get much better service at those smaller stores, however plan for them to have nothing in stock at any store, big or small, especially if it's a new phone. read more

Service was fast and friendly. I waited less than 5 minutes for help. I went in to upgrade my phone and pick up a new case. The upgrade went smoothly - you have to expect it will take a few minutes to pull the stock and transfer names and numbers. They price matched my case against a much less costly on line supplier. All in all a good experience. I will say that it pays off to enter the store educated on your purchase - Verizon will charge as much as they can for accessories. read more

It saddens me to have given close to $1,000 worth of business to this location--a mistake I won't be making again. I came here to make a long overdue switch from BlackBerry to Samsung and waited for almost an hour before being helped. After my purchase, I had to call three times to get a receipt via email (they had the wrong address on file and apparently failed to correct it in their system the first two times). When I finally received the receipt, it provided no information about how to claim the advertised $50 rebate off the Galaxy S4 ($200 for a family plan), which led to my putting in a huffy in-store appearance before someone gave me the *wrong* reimbursement claim form. (Keep in mind, the rebate was a limited-time offer and, by this time, already close to two weeks had transpired from the date of purchase). Suffice it to say that eventually, I got my $200 back, but only after enduring at least $400 worth of misery. read more
