Jermaine could not be more helpful when it came to putting my screen protector on. Sounds silly, but when it came off just a few months later he was pleasant while putting a new one on. I was there for such a simple thing, but he was so easy to talk to, felt like I knew him forever. Go see him for all your phone needs (even a simple screen protector ). I've been doing business with this store for a little while now. I've purchased 4 phones and 4 tablets from them. The first few interactions were great. Last 3 visits have been a train wreck. I purchased a new I pad for one of my technicians. Left the old tablet at the store for a credit. Not only did they not credit my account, but they left the old tablet active for a few months before I caught it. Ordered a new phone and smart watch with the promise I'd receive a phone call when they arrived. That was a month and a half ago. Just went in to check on this order and was basically thrown out when we walked through the door due to not having a mask. Needless to say I have 12 devices on my business account and will never return to this store. read more

WOW. I the Mass Music & Arts Society (MMAS) has been a customer of Verizon Phone and Internet services for over 25 years. In 2020 MMAS had to close it's downtown theater location in Mansfield and focus our efforts at its new location. The closer was difficult and necessary. I am shocked at the treatment by the Verizon Company. MMAS has always paid its bills on time. It paid in full for all services provided. And now is being billed $560 termination fee. REALLY $560 fee for having to shut down our business. And the Attitude of the service people on the phone when you call to ask for that fee to be Waived. I was told "we could have shut down the service temporally when the theater closed last March at the Start of Covid." - Really? Like we were trying to keep the company and location running in hopes of reopening our theater season. I am sorry Verizon, you couldn't be any nicer to deal with. The disrespect from Verizon and their account people was just - no words. I will cancel my personal cell phone account with Verizon when that contract is up. read more

If you're expecting actual customer service from a Verizon and/or Fios employee you need to avoid this store at all costs! My husband & I had the absolute worst experience in this store today. I had changed our FIOS cable package over the phone a few days prior. The rep on the phone sent me the address of this store to drop off my current cable box & remote and pick up 2 new boxes & remotes. We arrived at the store today & when we walked in there were 2 employees helping other customers. Neither one acknowledged us. A simple "we'll be with you soon" would've been appreciated. From there things just got worse. A third employee named Sabrina came out of the back. She asked us if we were returning equipment. We said yes. She asked us for our order number so I gave it to her. She confirms my name, types some things into the computer, & then looks at us & says "you're all set". That took us by surprise since I had given her my order number & was expecting our new cable boxes. Sabrina says again "you're all set". I let her know that we needed our new boxes & remotes & she said that the order was only for drop off & that the new equipment was being delivered to us on 9/12. We said that was a mistake since the phone rep I made all the changes with told me I could pick up at this store. She says if we don't have a pick up order # there's nothing she could do. I was definitely frustrated, but I did miss that the order confirmation did say delivery instead of pick up (the phone rep entered it incorrectly) so I then asked for our cable box back because we obviously don't want to be without cable for 12 days. Instead of being empathetic to the obvious mix up (basic customer service skills) she then says "it's already been deactivated". More frustrated I said "oh come on" & she snaps back at me "C'mon WHAT?" As customers with an obvious issue we were expecting some customer service & help finding a solution that would have us walking out of the store with our new boxes or our current box so we had tv for the next 12 days. Instead her attitude & unwillingness to help was shocking. She then tells us they are ARE NOT ACTUALLY FIOS & that they just do return & pick up of Fios equipment. She mentions that they're just a wireless store. My husband then pointed out the huge Fios sign hanging on the wall (tell me again how you're NOT FIOS), not to mention the giant Verizon sign that is outside on the building (see pic). She then tells us that she's trying to explain it to us but we're just not getting it. All I get is that you don't care & you have no proper training in customer service. I ask her what they can do to help us so we don't have to go home without cable for the next 12 days & she says "You'll have to call 1-800-Verizon". I have never gone into a store asking for help & basically been told "Not my problem." Even the person standing behind us in line said she should be making that call for us. If she was making the call we would've at least felt like she was providing actual customer service. Frustrated, I call the 800 number. It takes 6 minutes to get the system to recognize that I'd like to speak to an actual person. Then it tells me my wait time for a rep is another 8-13 minutes. Frustration level now at an 11. Finally someone answers. I tell him I need our fios equipment order changed from a home delivery to store pick up. He says "I'm just in repair. I can't do that. You'll have to.." I cut him off & said "please don't tell me I need to call someone else or be transferred" He states again he's just in repair. Yet another person taking the "I just work here" attitude. He was about to transfer me to billing when I asked him to look if the equipment shipped yet. He said he'd check. After a few minute hold he came back & said "I was able to make the change & you should be all set. Just give the store the same order # you went in with & they should see the change." YES! Best thing I had heard in the last hour! Although I asked him not get off the phone until another store employee could confirm the change was made though. They confirmed it was so I thanked the phone rep & hung up. The store rep went & got what we came for. I asked him "we can't be the only people who find this lack of service frustrating?" He said "not at all. It happens all the time because Verizon doesn't actually let us connect to their system so that's why customers have to call Verizon direct." I don't understand how a Verizon store wouldn't have that ability. (Again see pic of store) He said he completely understood my frustration which was much nicer to hear than "C'mon WHAT?" All that was apparent about Verizon to us today was they want to sell things, after that you're on your own, & customer service is not important to them. When our contract is up in January we'll be switching back to Comcast. Glad I switched our phones from Verizon a while ago (after 20+ years) and I'll be glad to completely cut ties with them in January. read more

I switched from Comcast to Verizon, big mistake! I have never seen a corporation where the customer service people argue with you regarding installation? Now that I am a customer, I was to get a reward for joining. Today was my 5th call to track down my gift card, and while they can see my previous conversations, no-one I have talked to until today, has submitted the order for the gift card! Another 30-45 days to wait, because the previous 3 people either didn't know what they were talking about, or they lied to me. The online help is worthless, the send you to phone numbers that send you back online. The offer a call back service if you select a time for them to call you back, as well as the number, they are 0 for 3 on calling me back. I'm under contract now, and Comcast was not perfect, but I will be back on day 365 or look at other options. read more

I went to the store to return my equipment on 12/21/19. After fighting the Patriot's game traffic, I arrived at the parking lot. There was nowhere to park because the parking lot was used for the tailgate parties. I stopped in the middle of the lot and rushed into the store to return my equipment. There were no customers but the two store employees did no show any interest to my presets. They were acting busy. I asked for attention and explained parking difficulties and asked for a quick transaction. The Verizon FIOS store employee Sabrina Fisher told me - "Take your away box and return it in a different location. Have a nice day!" Sure thing I am never going back to this store and I hope I will never receive any customer service from Sabrina Fisher of Verizon. read more
