After the staff failed 3x to migrate apps/data/settings to new phone, I asked for the charges to be reversed and my old phones reinstated. Travis the store manager then told me he couldn't help with a refund. He explained all of the fees were non-refundable and neither he nor his employees had to inform customers about non-refundable items. He also said that it wasn't his nor his employees responsibility to make our new phones work. Effectively, he is accountable for nothing. Then his team charged me a restocking fee of $55 for each phone that they couldn't setup. Fortunately, I called Verizon and got all of the fees reversed. Clearly Travis is wrong or flat out lied. I cannot say it more clearly, go somewhere else or call Verizon. The employees here are unhelpful, dishonest, and have no idea what good customer service is.

Right after I purchased a case for my new iphone at the Apple store in the mall we stumbled on this kiosk full of eye catching cell phone accessories. Shiny cases, Bluetooth headsets and other various bling for phones caused us to pause briefly wondering if I had missed something exciting. At that point the sales guy literally pounced on us. I told him I had JUST bought a case for my phone and just wanted to browse. Mr. Grabby Hands demanded to see my phone and pulled it out of my brand new case. He also began a schpiel about a new-fangled clear rubber 'coating' he could apply to my phone in order to make it shock proof and scratch proof. He waved a coated phone at us and allowed us to feel the rubbery substance but we were not allowed to examine the phone directly. As part of the coating deal we could purchase case for 50% off. He finally disclosed the price - $30 for the coating and cases were $30 ($15 with the deal). I said i would come back when i got tired of the brand new case whereupon he surrendered my phone, dropped me like a hot potato and walked back to the register. The coating did look pretty cool and I can't seem to find it anywhere on a Google search. If you want to investigate hide your phone in your pocket and pretend you are shopping for your grandma's Jitterbug!

They even sell Fidget Spinners here which made me feel like it was a sign to finally purchase one for my little sister, whom her birthday is on the 3rd of this month. The prices of the phone cases are incredibly affordable. I thought the phone case I picked out was going to be in the 30's-40's range for price, however, it was only $26.00! I loved that a lot. The additional purchase of the Fidget Spinner was only $10.00 extra, which is on average $3 more than the competitor's price. I still enjoyed getting both items and making me visit worthwhile. The only cons is the smell of the phone case. It has that artificial paint smell, (very strong smell) and made me otherwise that I can lessen the smell. No mention of a time limit. No mention of any conditions. No mention that "new" actually meant "whatever used controller is sitting in the back." When I finally used it, they took my working-ish controller and handed me a used one in worse condition than what I brought in. The buttons stopped responding almost immediately after I left the store. So I paid extra money for the privilege of downgrading to a broken controller. I came back to swap it out and was told they couldn't do anything for me. They knowingly handed me defective used hardware under a plan that was sold to me as a new-for-old exchange, and then refused to stand behind it. So to recap: I was misled about what the warranty covered, misled about what I'd receive, given a broken product, and then denied any remedy on a plan I paid extra for. That's not a warranty. That's a fee for nothing. Don't buy the protection plan here. Get whatever you're told in writing, or just buy your accessories somewhere with a real return policy.

I did have to wait until the next day, which drives ya nuts when it's the thing we're addicted to most in this world, but next day wasn't bad at all, and they hooked me up with a screen protector for the wait (thanks!). The repair was explained, timely, and cost LESS than any other business I called in my area. What more could I ask for? I was having an issue with my phone screen after dropping it (a couple of times, yikes). Turns out, instead of putting all the important internal parts at the TOP of the iphone, you know, where you don't really *need* to click as much for all the important stuff as we do at the bottom of the phone, such as going back to the home screen, texting/messaging, shutting down apps, etc. Apple decided to put all the wiring down there at the bottom. So, if you get any screen chips there, it really messes up the functionality badly. Pro Tip: If this happens to you, set up the "Assistive Access" mode so you can get back to home! It was a lifesaver while my screen was broken. The well-known chain place I took it to once before, years ago (UBIF), now decided to triple+ the cost because they are using "apple glass" now -- whatever. That's bs because the non-apple glass works perfectly fine for *not* half the cost of an entirely new iphone -- how dumb! This business charged a flat $130 all-in, total price, nothing else, and that was the best price I could find in Denver Metro. They finished my phone on time and followed the instructions to reach me with updates (you'd think this is standard, but it's not! I had the opposite experience at another business). Unlike many repair services these days where you often have to mail items far away or drop things off with an unknowledgeable clerk, at Phone Repair and More you can talk directly with the technicians to ensure there are no miscommunications and that you get the information you need.
