We had T-Mobile service for years, but our experience became unacceptable in June 2026. Both of our…read morephones repeatedly failed to connect to a network, our home internet became nearly unusable, and our TV buffered for hours. Download speeds were under 10 Mbps and upload speeds were below 1 Mbps. Most alarming, we were unable to make 911 calls. This was not merely an inconvenience: I suffered a heart attack, and reliable emergency calling was essential. I spent hours speaking with T-Mobile technical support and engineers trying to identify the cause. We were ultimately told that network capacity in the Kalispell area was being overwhelmed, particularly during heavy tourist traffic. Whatever the cause, the service we paid for was not dependable when we needed it most. We switched providers and returned both pieces of T-Mobile equipment to the Kalispell store at 2244 US 93 North. We received a receipt confirming that both items were returned. On September 15, 2026, I then received an email stating that T-Mobile planned to charge my credit card up to $300 because the equipment had allegedly not been returned. I went back to the same T-Mobile store with the receipt, only to be told they would not help and that I should call 611--even though we no longer have T-Mobile phones and had already spent hours on their 800 numbers trying to resolve all of the issues. Unless the employees at this store can sell you a phone or T-Mobile service, they are worthless. T-Mobile needs to correct its records immediately, cancel any equipment charge, and confirm in writing that the returned equipment has been received. Customers should not be threatened with charges after following the return process and keeping their receipt.. We received a receipt confirming that both items were returned. T-Mobile needs to correct its records immediately, cancel any equipment charge, and confirm in writing that the returned equipment has been received. Customers should not be threatened with charges after following the return process and keeping their receipt. The next step will be small claims court! I'm sure that a judge will agree that having a working phone during a heart attack should be a priority!
