    update, now a solid 1 star review. after a 4+ hour long outage on 10/16, there was a 14+ hour long…read moreoutage that affected hundreds if not thousands of subscribers on the northshore of Clearlake. this means people cant even call 911!! i got 2 different stories when I called into customer care, one saying maintenance one saying a fiber cut. what would remedy this? provide fail over modems. harden your network. stop putting cheap bandaids on repairs. improve your ability to repair all of your network. segment your network so outages are less impactful. work with local agencies to get Nixle notifications out to affected phone users. hold people accountable for failure to resolve network outages. lastly, i would like to see your advertised reliability metrics posted for review. i ended up buying internet service from another company and will reduce my MediaCom plan to the lowest/cheapest rate available until MediaCom can prove they're reliable.

    Terrible billing practices! I paid on time every month for 4 years. When I cancelled they tried to…read morebill me for an extra month and then, even though I had called and cancelled in Feb and returned all their equipment they tried to charge me till March 16th because that's how long it took them to come out to our service box to disconnect. I called twice, was told the charge was removed, only to have it keep appearing. Luckily I had removed my autopay so they couldn't just take the money. Their service is prone to outages and I got Starlink for less than half the monthly price. I would steer everyone away from them. Do not use their service.
