The customer service from victra and staff at the store is terrible. Calling it customer service is like the AI image of Trump as Jesus, calling himself a doctor! We spent almost 3 hours on the phone with "Grace" and "Mia" trying to track down a phone that was delivered to their store but the store claimed it was not. I wondered how a store could have so many one star reviews. I've been in this store many times over the years and have bought many devices through the years at this location and have always received average service. However, until now I haven't had any reason to go in other than to buy something. Let me just a certain "gentleman" doesn't want his time wasted if you aren't buying anything. I had bought a defective product last night and went i. this morning to get help or return it. There was one short, heavyset hispanic gentleman (picture as round as he is tall) who was the biggest condescending jerk I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Keep in mind that I have been with Verizon for 20+ years and have 8 (this new one makes 9) devices on my account, so I'm not new to Verizon or the technology, but this little brat was so hateful and condescending that I asked for his name (he did not have a name badge on) and he said, "I'm not telling you my name because it's none of your business", so I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not in, I later found out he was in but the Napoleon syndrome guy lied. No wonder this location has such a terrible reputation. At this point Verizon should just shut down this location and open another one in Citrus Heights. Just look at google reviews to see how many one star reviews there are, and every single one complains about customer service. Thank you for responding, but I've honestly spent too much time on this now. I have an appointment at the apple store this afternoon and then I'll start looking at other cell phone companies who would like to have a 9 device account that stays loyal for 20+ years. Verizon used to have customer service, now it's a sales company and once you walk out of the store with a device you are just a nuisance from that point on until you buy a new device. You might want to rethink your business model to include good customer service and stop relying so heavily of sales quotas. I forgot to mention that Napoleon Complex guy got his friend (dark skinned guy with a lisp) come over and tell me Napoleon's name is Mike, which was an obvious lie, they burst into fits of giggles when I left, thinking I was stupid enough to fall for it. read more

The new employee is here trying to figure out what to do in here while the other one who is supposed to be helping is unresponsive. $40 for Samsung regular charger are you completely nuts?? You can can buy a 3 pack for 10 bucks at Walmart. I just spent a $1000 on a new cell phone plus another 65 for some cheap plastic case and a screen cover that's about a millimeter thick and not looking to go and spend almost 100 bucks on the combo $70 car house charger set. Following in costco's footsteps in subsidize or at least lower the price of "chargers, accessories"simple things like they do with their food court customers appreciate that. read more

Today my husband and I paid a visit to this location to upgrade my phone. We all know often times a transaction of this nature takes over an hour or longer. We were helped by Tavis and were in and out within 30 minutes with my new phone activated and accessories to go with it. I have needed a new phone for a couple of years. Went to the Madison Ave store, while everyone was very nice, it was a bit overwhelming for me so I just left. 6/6/20 I ventured into the Greenback store and met Madison. Oh my goodness, the nicest person I have met in a long time! I think she realized right away that I did not need or want the big fancy phone and still stepped up to help me. Yes I bought the cheapest one, but it works for me. She offered to go pick it up from another store and meet me 2 hrs later. It was a little busy and I told her I would come back in a couple of days. 2 days later I was back, she remembered me right away and on top of everything else she was by herself! She juggled 3 customers with grace and politeness I have not seen in a long time. Not to mention the 3 people that came in looking for UPS! I had a wonderful experience with Cameron when I went into his Verizon store the other day. He took his time, explained things to me in a way I could understand, and I walked out with a much better cell phone plan for a little bit less money than the old plan I had. He dated my new plan in such a way as to avoid charges for data usage that I did not have at the time. Was able to get us our phone and check out account to make sure everything was in order. Offered accessories accordingly and added personalized conversation to each recommendation. If I could give it negative stars I would!! Terrible Place!! I went in here today and planned on paying my phone off and upgrading to a new device so my fiancé could use my paid off phone on her line but instead I got robbed of $180. Before starting anything I clearly asked him what the total would be to upgrade to a new phone today and he clearly stated it was around $200-250, he did not state that that was going to be an additional charge on top of my $180 it was to pay off the phone. On top of that then man tried to tell me the taxes were $140 then showed me the screen and they showed $66. After that he tried to tell me he could drop it $30. Nothing made sense so I paid my phone off for no reason, left with no phone for my fiancé, and did not even upgrade due to him manipulating the situation. On top of all that, the man whom was wearing no name tag, couldn't even get me a refund. You probably shouldn't charge someone until the very end of the transaction. Not in the beginning. They will try to rob you. DO NOT GO HERE. I am now closing my account due to the situation the man put me in. Terrible customer service. read more

I took my 80 year old parents to this Verizon to buy extra minutes for one of their pay by minute phones. I have done this a few times with them. Every time there is one or two workers there and a very very long wait to get help. I only do it this way because the parents like to do things in person. Ugh... This last time, only one employee was there and he was working with a customer. We waited at least 15 minutes before he asked us what we were needing. We said we just needed a couple minutes with him to add time to one phone. A COUPLE MINUTES... He then asks the person he was working with if he could take care of us quickly and the customer said "no." So with that, the employee said we would have to wait until the other employee got their in 20-30 more minutes. ( he was running late ?!?! ). Ok... So you let your customer tell you how to run your business and how to lose customers. Nice. Correct business practice would be to nicely let your customer you are working with you need a quick 2 minute break and then get these other customers taken care of and out of your business. Everybody is pretty happy that way. But now you just get a really bad review instead. read more

I had an issue with my phone and had to transfer to a new phone. Lauren spent a lot of time ensuring everything was transferred correctly and showed me how to navigate on the new phone. Not only was she knowledgeable but she was very patient and kind. While waiting I also witnessed her interaction with another customer who spoke in broken English. She extended the same patience and kindness with this customer as well. It is so refreshing to receive such outstanding customer service, which sadly is few and far between.
