I set an appointment for 4 pm. I get checked in at 3:57 and told someone would be with me shortly. I waited 30 minutes and then left. No one there seemed to care that I was there. The manager was just standing doing nothing. I asked her if she could help which she said basically to wait. I would just be weary if you are getting a new plan with them. They make a lot of promises on waiving activation fees or lowering certain add on costs and pretty much just bank on the fact that you won't follow up. Unfortunately you will most likely have to go back to the store to remind them they need to waive something. When I went back several people were in that store for the exact same reason. They operate in a what seems to be a predatory manner so I'd just beware and check your first few bills. read more

I'm not super big on going into Verizon corporate stores, as I believe the employees still work on commission. If you call the 1800 or go somewhere such as Best Buy, they are not. I had been to this location before and it was just ok. I stopped in again recently as it said they had a Samsung charger in stock that appeared to be much cheaper than anywhere else. I was instantly greeted upon entry and waited on. Although the item was not out front, the employee found it in the back for me. I asked him if I could apply my monthly customer reward on this purchase. He read the rules and said yes, so I claimed it. After claiming it, it was not applying to the purchase. I nicely asked him to make this right since he had told me it was usable, and he did just that. Hard to get good service anymore, so I was happy to have a good interaction. I needed a new phone and they told me I had to upgrade and it would cost me an additional $39 a month (with internet I don't need) or I'd need to pay $1000+ for a new phone. No lower phone purchase options available. I left and went to Best Buy across the parking lot and got great help and service. Ended up with a new phone for $349 and it's great. Brianna and the manager were amazing!! They handled my best friend and I both having issues with our iPhones and helped my best friend get his new iPhone and setting mine up. Brianna was very personable and helped us with the best deals, even put our new screen protectors on for us (which is very simple little things that go big and beyond for the customers day). They were great people to work with and very hard to find great service nowadays, so we are glad that we found a place that will work with us very easily! Would recommend to anyone! horrible. The store staff was fine. But the security fraud team was the worst I have ever encountered. I am considering leaving Verizon all together. They held up my order, had a terrible process, and both Charska and her supervisor Amy were rude as heck. I hope they listen to the tape. Talked over me, even threatened to leave the call. I have never experienced anything like it. They also took an hour out of my work day. No joke, I was talking and another 800 call was coming through. I thought we had been discounted maybe, so I answered. It was her again. It was "part of the process". Silliest thing I have ever heard of. I have invested 3 hours now trying to get this order done. Assistant manager Brian provided false information about a tablet promotion. He assured that it would cost no money and be free with no plan charges either. The tablet was not even wanted, but relentlessly he sold the freeness. Turns out it did cost money and did up plan price. After the fact realized it could only be returned within 14 days (conveniently after it would hit a bill). Customer service had no remorse or solution. Although the money is not of concern the inconvenience and lack of trust this has created compels me to warn other buyers, this is not a place to take your business. Obviously it has bad reviews already but I sincerely urge anyone not to come here for you own sake. read more

JESSE is a rock star who fixed my phone 11/21/2020 at the same location, and gave me the original receipt in 5 minutes.   NO phone for 2 weeks ZERO STARS for MANAGER at 9040 Union Cemetery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249   I went on 11/9/2020 for a system issue, the update failed and was frozen.  Spoke to the store manager, who said he can't fix it.  They could sell me a new phone.  Sent me to Apple at Kenwood.  Went there, set an appt. for 11/16, first available.  Apple stated that Verizon can fix it but chooses not to waste time on service, only sales.  Apple requires the original receipt to prove I own the phone, understandably.  Why didn't the manager tell me this???  I now have an appointment to go back to Apple today, 11/22 to reset the Apple ID and such.  CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW????? read more

I hate to leave a bad review, but here we are. The sales associate that helped me was super rude and seemed annoyed that he had to sell me a new phone. First he tried to turn me away at the front door, even though there were 3 or 4 associates inside not helping anyone. I was confused about the new covid protocol, and he seemed annoyed he had to explain it to me. Trust me, I'd rather not be there either, but I broke my phone and had to get a new one. Anyway, he gave me 0 details about switching my phone over, or what each cost was for and when I asked he seemed irritated. Then he handed me the phone box and sent me on my way. I haven't switched my phone over is yearssss, so I was unsure how to do it. It was just a really bad experience overall and I will not be going back. He insisted we should include cases, screen protectors, phone chargers, iPads. Although we politely declined all of these things, he kept insisting and told us that the only way we could walk out the door today with new iPhone was to add these items. ??!! As with any sales/retail location for a giant chain, sales reps can make or break an experience. The sales rep I has a name that seems to be slipping out of my memory. He seemed nice enough, he was pretty helpful in my transition at his store to change from T-Mobile to Verizon. I previously managed a Verizon store until the beginning of this year, and didn't need much information on how the switch would work. The only issue I had with my visit is that my sales rep forgot to tell me of the promotion that I was eligible for. At the time, Samsung was running a Samsung Rewards promotion. If you purchased an S8 or Note 8 and used Samsung Pay, you'd earn 50,000 Samsung Rewards Points (equivalent to a $250 Visa card). My rep didn't tell me this, and I just barely made the promotion. I actually turned in my information for the promotion after the end date, but after a long time of emailing and phone calls, Samsung decided to allow me to take advantage of their offer anyways. I ended up getting the $250 Visa card, which was great, but a huge headache could have been avoided if my sales rep had told me about this promo when I asked as I checked out, "Are there any promotions going on for the Note 8 right now? Does Verizon still have the $650 switcher credit for turning in a phone that's still under device payments or contract? Or are there other promotions?" I recall his answer was, "No, Verizon stopped doing that a few weeks back since we hit the busy season, and there aren't any promos running for any Samsung phones right now." It's not a huge deal for not remembering the promo, but I know from experience managing a Verizon that NOT telling customers about promotions can be a big deal. If someone finds out they could have saved money or received a free $250 Visa card after the fact and they are too late to get it, you lose a customer. You didn't lose me, but you were close. Next time don't forget to memorize the promotions! read more

Highly disappointed by the lack of customer care in this store! Upgraded my phone and asked the employee if there was an iPhone 6s Plus that I could hold that wasn't tethered. So he took his phone and tossed it at me. It bounced off the counter. I wasn't questioning durability! Then when he applied my screen protector he applied it incorrectly and the store would not fix it! The manager showed no concern and just passed me off to a sales associate. From top to bottom the most rude and condescending crew I've had to deal with in a long time. Last night thinking they close at 9pm like most stores, I arrive at 8:20 with my son. As an employee let out a customer I tried speaking to him politely. He response was a slashing gesture across his neck multiple times. Meaning we are closed, a bit unprofessional but it's fine. He then proceeded to tell another customer who wanted to pay his bill this: as he points to the door, then says to the man, "what's the sign on the door say?" The man got upset and walked away but the employee had a bit more to say to him. Then he turned to me and said I'll have to come back tomorrow and I didn't even get to inquire about just picking up a phone. Then said he could get fired just for having the door open after hours. I came in the next day to pick up the phone andvwhile explaining my situation about the phone, i felt the manager should know how his employees were to customers. He acted as if it didnt matter due to my issue of getting my phone was his words. No wonder the employees treat customers in that rude manner. It starts from the manager and is repeated by his staff. If i could have cancelled my service over this store, i would have done it over these issues. By the way, this wasnt my first time getting rude treatment there. This latest issue I felt warranted a reminder of how poor their service and professionalism was last night. Feel free to go there with a simple issue and watch it first-hand. In regard to your reply Verizon I have these words for you. If you indeed are going to use this feedback to correct these issues with incredible rudeness great. However, these types of reviews have been levied for a long time by many reviewers. Nothing has changed there as far as I can read on this site. Once again proving my point, in one ear and out the other. You need to clean house and get rid of your leadership there and start over with leader that values customers, not belittle them. Customer Service is terrible. They obviously could care less if they satisfy you or not. My husband purchased an Apple Watch, Series 4, on April 15th for $529 from this store. On June 15th his band fell apart so he went back to this store to get a new one. They charged him $53 and told him he had to pay for it but they would credit him back on his account the next month. It has been over 4 months and he has been back into the store 3 times and called at least 3 times and they are now saying there is nothing they can do. The Manager yesterday told him he needed to have the old watch band in order to do something. However, the original salesman told him he needed it to turn in and he told the Manager that. My husbands cell phone bill is over $400 per month (because of multiple phones) and they obviously could care less about customer satisfaction. It's not the $53 as much as the lack of customer service and their could care less attitude! While we were there another couple was fighting to get her new $1000 phone turned back on because one of their new inexperienced sales people had locked her out of her phone the day before and they were giving her a hard time and telling her she had to wait 48 hours to turn it back on. She was furious!! They sure want to sell you equipment but once you buy it they could care less! Management seems weak and employees are not properly trained. It doesn't look impressive for Verizon. Very, very poor Customer Service!! They could care less about you once they have your money!! Once you have their product, it's your problem!! Very sad! First of all I'm still angry that Bell chose Verizon to sell their cell business to. I have completed round one of signing up for service and I am not happy with the experience. I have two phones and a sharing plan. I had only needed a 3GB plan before. I come to Verizon, the y gave me the same 3GB plan and threw in 1GB per phone line. Not a good 2 weeks into it, both myself and daughter start getting these ridiculous text messages threatening that we're about out of data and need to agree to adding 2GB more to avoid overages. I fall for it, and buy it. Next billing period same tactic the outrageous text message and the overage threat and please CLICK to buy more data. I fell for it again. The next billings from then until the contract was up shows that neither I nor my daughter use an ENTIRE 1GB each month...so why do I have to pay for 6GB of data on top of the 2 free? So I start turning off the data. Then I didn't need it for my car but I've since changed cars and I now need data when I'm in my car for the type of computer system in my car called Entune, or when you need to get into your voicemail (why that is I don't know). Neither of us play mega games that take up a lot of data, so I'm not understanding why the assault on me to force me to buying more data. I've also noticed that each time a competitor offers their customers MEGA data plans, Verizon turns up the heat by trying to force me to buy more data. Contracts up, my second go round, and I decide to upgrade my phone, my daughter doesn't want to upgrade hers. I talk to the sales guy about why I'm paying so much for data when we have very little usage of data. He brushes over it and says I see that and I have just the plan I think you should have, which turns out to be 4GB. Now given that we aren't using even 1GB between the two of us, 4GB seems it would more than cover it. THINK AGAIN! Somewhere within 2 weeks (and I still did not have the phone I ordered yet), here comes this same tactic of the screening text message that you're running out of data. It is now even on the page when I log into my account online. So how is it possible that my data usage has jumped up beyond what I've used the previous months past to all of a sudden now 4GB is not good enough?! I don't understand that. I get my new phone and I get it set up and activated. And I'm still being warned I'm out of data. I refuse to go back to adding 2BG each month to stop them from texting me. So I turn off the data but this new phone, you turn off the data, you can't play the music that you've bought and paid for in your car. You can only listen if you are Wi-Fi connected. So I turn it on DATA only when I'm in the car. I think DATA usage is what VERIZON says it is and not what it actually is. I DO NOT BUY that adding all these ridiculous Verizon apps to your cell phone eating up your storage is the answer to MONITORING your cell DATA usage. There are more important things in life than sitting and watching a meter telling you how much data you are using. If I didn't use 1GB last month or the month before that, why are they telling me I'm using more data now? Like politicians, you can't get a straight forward answer from any member of the Verizon staff. So I'm just going to let them play at their game of sending me annoying text messages. And as I'm supposed to get a $400 credit for trading in my phone, I'm sure MOST of the answer if not all is in the fact that they want to get back as much of that $400 as they can without actually having to give it to me.
