Rego (or Rico) could use more customer service training, his communication skills are poor and could use some polishing. The experience at this Verizon store has been awful. They will read whatever is front of them (in the system) and they have a hard time explaining what they are reading. They will ask you to call corp. instead of them resolving the issue or offering a solution. The only way to resolve my issue was to call a corp. line and 3-way the store. That is unacceptable. For the mean time, I will be finding a different Verizon store in case I ever have to go back to a brick and mortar. read more

This price they quoted me was all wrong. I went to Walmart in Jersey this lady Mary lied to me non stop. I've called her several times. She finally called me back to say someone will call me to explain everything she lied about. They never called. I finally called the company directly told the lady why I was asking them to disconnect my service I told her of all the lies this woman told me. I gave her name and phone number. If you are out representing a company the best thing you can do is tell the truth. Because it will come back to bite you in your ass. I'm so sorry I got her. I went to this location, 2266 Bay Plaza Verizon on February 4, 2025. A young man met me at the door with a smile ask me what can he do for me or how can you help me? at the moment, he seemed pleasant enough, so I started to explain to him what exactly I wanted to do and that I needed some help with some information on my phone service that I purchased online through Verizon and my Internet package. I thought the young man was gonna help me with it but: I had to ask him if I could come in and sit down he wouldn't even offer me a seat, made the statement that he didn't offer me a seat because he knew he couldn't help me once I told him I purchased my was online. which Verizon was running to transfer my number from another carrier and as well, my Internet service at home and wanting to combine them. This young man made me feel by listening to his conversation that because I did not purchase my phone at the store that he could not help or wasn't going to help me! I therefore had to ask him is that what you're saying to me? Of course his response was no no that's not what I said. But this young man inferred that. The next part of his conversation was because of my age that he would never think that I would shop online that I would more or less want to be in front of the person in store location. He also suggested that the people hired him know his job title, which he answered after I asked him do these people that hired you know how you actually feel about your customers. I also stated to him it doesn't matter about the person's age , color , or gender whatever it is you're there to provide a service for anyone that comes in the store. I could see that he did not like my responses to him. This young man was very obnoxious, condescending, as well as rude and as a more mature person, I feel that he does not belong working in sales or anything to do with the public. He was a young man in his 20s, tall, med weight , braided hair style and black American. I am also a black American older woman and I did not appreciate him or his behavior. My experience with this young man was not good. He he did however, supply me with the two numbers to for WIRELESS and the Internet service Online. His negative behavior was finished because as I was walking out of the door he said to me, enjoy going from place to place.!!! My response to him was don't worry will not travel from store to store. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I switched from AT&T to Verizon. I was told to pick up my four phones that were purchased. I arrived at 7:01pm before a snow storm to pick up, cause ya know, people work for a living. Everyone in the store behaved as if they had no idea what was going on and that I didn't exist. They are good for you to get your cash but when you are already a customer, I guess it deuces. My husband said I arrived after 7pm and it's understandable BUT it's decency and common courtesy to acknowledge someone. Unacceptably. read more

This place is a joke. My phone was stolen and Verizon had a glitch in their system where they were unable to un-suspend my phone number. A manager at a different store offered to compensate us for the Verizon glitch making it impossible to access my email and phone. The manager at THIS store informed us that if we wanted to get compensation, we would have to go elsewhere. So we did! There is an AT&T store nearby. I cancelled my Verizon account and started a new one with AT&T. They were extremely helpful and were able to open a new account with my current number. A process that Verizon said was impossible, AT&T accomplished in 20 min. I am so glad I made the change. read more

If I could give 1/2 star I would. Poor customer service and very dismissive. When you walk through the door you see 4 workers playing on their phone. Barely looking up to acknowledge you. Finally, one worker reluctantly speaks and without asking me exactly what I want said none was in the store...After calling 611 and finding that they had the phone In stock the workers proceeded to argue with each other about who will assist me. No one wanted to set up the phone. The service center gave me a discount count to give the store. I told them what it was and the unlucky worker who drew the short straw and actually had to work and help me was giving me a deal that was $100 more expensive. I asked to speak to the manager and to my surprise one of the disinterested workers playing on his phone was the manager!! It went downhill from there. I would never recommend this store - Oh yes then they said $30 to set up my phone...while 5 individual workers played with their phones. No one working. read more

Very poor customer service. Was shopping for a new phone case for my brand new iPhone 8 Plus and was in the Bay Plaza Shopping Center and decided to stop in the Verizon store to see if they have any good cases. The store looks pretty modern and I got to say pretty nice. The employees here aren't very helpful at all and all they were doing was talking up a storm on the phone and I don't think it was a customer they were talking to because they were talking on their personal phone. I tried asking the employee for assistance and she had an attitude and told me to please wait! So I decided to leave and go case shopping somewhere else because I don't feel like waiting. I don't have Verizon but it's a good thing I don't because the customer service at this store is trash! read more

Went here last November to add a line to my plan. Was told about a $300 trade in plus another $100 bill credit for switching my new number to Verzion. To this day, never got the $100 bill credit. Called Verizon cust service, apparently that deal had expired a month before I went into the store. Either employees are misinformed or they straight up lie to customers. read more

BRANDI, THIS IS ABOUT YOU!!! I went into this location over the weekend with a very simple problem for a defective USB cord for my phone. Without ever asking my name, cell phone number or anything about my account info, the "customer service rep" Brandi quickly snapped at me stating "this is physical damage and it won't be covered" When in fact is was a defect with the charger cord and it IS covered by the warranty. This person does not need to be working with the public. Brandi had a really bad attitude, she was extremely unprofessional and unknowledgeable. She had a horrible expression on her face, she never even cracked a smile. BTW...It was only 10:30 in the morning, no one can be that miserable. BRANDI get another job working behind the scenes so no one has to look at that pathetic face of yours any longer. Verizon really needs to be careful on who they hire as customer service reps. Don't know what to say - there are no words for people who do not know how to take care of customers. Here is my experience in short. Went to this store to pick up a phone w/ my sister and they told her that they could not help her because she bought the phone on line. My sister took the phone and left the store; went home phoned Verizon and told them what the experience was - Verizon said that this should have not happened; you are a new customer and the store employees should know how to port new customers over - go back to the store and return it. She told Verizon that she doesn't want to be a customer and will go back to the store. Verizon cancelled the service - Went back to the store and was told that they are closed and they could not help; but come back tomorrow @ 10 AM and then we can help you - Note my sister has the phone in her possession for 1 hr. Went back home and spoke to Verizon again. Told Verizon what happened the second time - called credit card to dispute charges. Will NOT go back to the store to return it - Verizon is in the process of sending a return label; but cannot send a return label because my sister is not a customer - My sister is going to hear from a District Manager today. So everyone @ this location better beware because you quite possibly most likely be FIRED. read more
