I went in to purchase an AC unit and, despite how busy the store was, I was helped by a sales associate in a timely manner. We did run into a few issues with the computer system at first, but something caught my attention during that time. I noticed someone at the front of the store glance back, see what was going on, and immediately step in to help. That person was Quadasha. What truly stood out to me was her exceptional service. She was not only making sure every package leaving the store was properly processed and paid for, but she also jumped in without hesitation to assist the sales team. Her teamwork, flexibility, and calm under pressure were impressive--she was clearly wearing multiple hats to keep things running smoothly. This level of customer service is rare these days. My 90 years old dad & step mom bought a mattress with a ten year warranty!!! They felt secure that they were cover if mattress would go bad. The mattress after almost 3 years of use crested lumps on it causing them not to have good sleep because they both suffer from back issues beside being elderly people. They notified PC Richard's but at they end of there research they felt that they can't honor the warranty!!! I saw the lumps on the mattress but they said they didn't. I say that we shouldn't take advantage of the elderly people. What is this world coming too!!! They paid almost 3,000.00 for it!!! So sad read more

I went to pc Richard in the Bronx to order a fridge and stove for a vacant apt and it might have been easier to order online but I had to measure both to make sure they fit in it's space cause sometimes the specs can be wrong . Typical pc Richard with electronics, appliances , etc and with the ease of ordering stuff online I notice less folks in store . Soon as we walked in , we were greeted by the salesman who was also the person who wrote up the invoice with items and delivery date .Got a good deal , personally picked 2 good applicances and delivery date was exactly what was stated on invoice . 2 delivery guys showed up , put applicances in Empty spaces and took all the empty boxes and other wrappings and hit the road . I dont recommend the Fordham road store. Full of incompetence and rude manager. i purchased a dryer as a gift. Though it took 4 people to complete the sale because Frank wasn't familiar with the computer, he managed to call over the help of the only fully competent manager in the store Ricardo. He needs to be commended for his knowledge, customer service skills, and overall, what he brings in professionalism to this store. He should be training the others. The dryer was to be delivered within a few days. Delivery drivers arrive and ask if they can take it out 6 box. My stipulation was sure you could as long as there isn't damage. A few minutes later, i received a phone call back from the driver saying it was damaged within the box, and they wouldn't deliver it. however, they signed saying i approved the damage. and when i asked for pictures didnt respond anymore. I called the store and spoke with the office manager Q. Who said she hated when they did things like this. To me, this implies it's not the first time, nor will it be the last time. BUYER BEWARE. She rescheduled the delivery. I asked for the earliest time. She said she'll speak to the warehouse she'll write down from 7 to 12, but i should expect a call about 630am. Upon receiving the confirmation email, the time was the range starting a little later, but still not acceptable because she said to expect the earliest, and i already wasted a day with them. When Q's replies escalated, i asked to speak with someone else to help me, and she refused. I told her to cancel, which, for me, was the entire order. However, she only canceled the delivery. I've had to continually call back to get it canceled. And still, no one would confirm it but would rudely hang up. Asked for the district managers info. However, the person who is just as rude answers the phone and will leave you on hold without giving the info. I had to call customer service to get it canceled. However, they would still transfer me to the unhelpful manager when i requested someone else. Last Friday i was told the store would call me back. However, they didn't, and when i called, there was no manager available. So here it is, Monday Calling Customer Service to confirm my cancelation, and of course, they transfer the phone to Q, who hangs up the phone. Upon speaking to another manager today. I found out it was canceled last week the 3rd time i requested it. A long, unnecessarily drawn-out process which could've and should've been handled on last week Thursday. Should have stuck with Home Depot. I'm so glad i already ordered and am waiting for my 3 day delivery. read more

We get T.V.s, from washer machines, to air conditioner, etc. We always come here as well because of the good prices and the extra warranty you can buy. They do honor those to. I initially went to PC Richards in Yonkers and did not love the salesperson who was helping me (condescending). However, I still liked the products I picked out so when I came home I called the location in the BX to find out about ordering 3 appliances (stove, fridge and dishwasher). I worked with Moshe throughout the entire process up until delivery and he has been amazing the entire time, even proving his personal cell number to contact him more easily. I felt comfortable throughout and it was all due to Moshe's level of customer service and follow up. I will definitely be coming back to this location for any future needs I have. read more

This not the best PC Richards at all. The staff are all talking amongst each other and scrolling through Instagram. I was waiting to be helped to purchase a 50" TV and knew which one I wanted so I just needed to someone to get it. I waited like 15 minutes for anyone to come. It was weird because some were on their iPhones and others were overwhelmed with other customers. I was very disappointed that after I bought it I found it online way cheaper. It seems the staff here is there to show off their haircuts than to help shoppers. They do offer "price match" but its only when they HAVE the the item. THEY DONT CARRY MUCH. You would think in the age of Internet ... Brick and mortar stores would step up their game to compete with the online monsters. Let me tell you, I am now proud owner of an amazing Stearns and Foster bed. I had bought an audio receiver a few days before and the sales rep (whose name I can't remember) said he would give us the remote to go with it, but did not. Purchased an HP laptop a little before Christmas 2016, after making another purchase for the holidays. I've always heard good things about PC Richards and my grandmother always gets her appliances from here so I figured they were a trusted brand... man was I wrong! The HP purchase was solely for college use as I'm entering into grad school and needed a reliable lightweight computer. I didn't use the laptop for about a month after the purchase and the first time I did use it I was just browsing the web and playing with the features. Touch screen, back light on keyboard, etc. Fast forward a few weeks after, the computer was super slow, laggy, and wouldn't connect to my wifi to save its life! I took it back to PC Richard around the first week of march and the lady who helped me couldn't get the computer to connect to their wifi either. So she gave me a slip took some info from me and said she'll send it out for servicing. Turnaround time 6-10 business days.... got a call about a week later that my pc was ready for pickup. Took it home and it was running smooth again. About 2 days later, I tried downloading the web browsers I need to run certain programs for school. Chrome (FAILED to download) Mozilla(FAILED to download) EXPLORER(FAILED to download) at this point I was enraged because now it's time for midterms and this computer is a piece of Sh*t! I call customer service and their phone is suddenly disconnected. I spoke to a lady who sounded as if she had a damn attitude and when I expressed how I felt she brushed it off like it wasn't that serious. Long story short I had to send this computer out again for servicing. My 8 year old ACER laptop is more reliable than this fancy piece of junk! And the manager "Larry" is an a**hole a sarcastic dick! He talks over you and tells you "I'm not gonna exchange a computer without knowing what the issue is, and he loves to say "you're not getting your money back." I'll never purchase another appliance or refer anyone else to this store! Never in a million years! Their customer service sucks too! read more

I have just returned home from PC Richards & Sons @ 2501 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York after purchasing a Laptop for $1,100.00, thanks to the wonderful service of my Salesperson, Shakil, but most certainly not because of my UPSETTING experience with one of the Managers known as Mervin. My story begins with me contacting Shakil to ensure he would be there to assist me with my purchase. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store and keep returning primarily due to the wonderful & courteous customer service I receive from him, not to mention his knowledge of any items I may be interested in purchasing. While I was with Shakil, I took out my existing Laptop to show him, and explained that I wanted similar in size with updated technology. Within minutes - yes minutes - he had answered and addressed all my issues and I had made my decision which one to purchase. I then proceeded to close my current Laptop to put it away. Unknowingly, My own Laptop had got caught with one of wires of a Laptop on display and as I closed it, it set off an alarm. Within seconds, Mervin was over asking what had happened. Shakil explained to him that it was an accident, that he was with me and that he was my Sales Person. I ALSO explained to Mervin what had happened to which his reply with attitude was, "Yes, but what is going on here". I have never in my life felt more like a thief. Shame on you Mervin for making a customer feel as such and more shame on you to do so with a title of Manager. I ask - How many times does one have to explain themselves. I explained what had transpired and my Salesperson explained also. That should have sufficed. Whatever happened to "The customer is always right", or, "Customer Satisfaction is our number one priority". As a business owner in New York, if one of my colleagues had treated one of my clients such as that, they would have been immediately reprimanded and put back into training with specific emphasis on "How to treat customers properly". During the rest of my time there as I was completing my transaction, I could not also help but observe how rude Mervin was with his co-workers. Not the behavior I would expect from a Manager at any level. I decided I needed to escalate this incident and waited to speak to Ruben Fontalvo, Manager at said branch who listened courteously to my grievances and treated me with the respect and professionalism I would expect from a Store Manager, ensuring me that he would personally address the matter with Mervin. Thank you Ruben. I give this review 3 stars, not because of the service I received from my Salesperson, but because of how I was made to feel during my time there.
