The people were friendly but they didn't give me all the information I needed. The first salesperson said yes I could upgrade but didn't tell me about all the extra costs that I was going to incur. So when the phone came in and I arrived to get it, I was shocked about the upgrade cost and the cost of transfer the data and exactly how the upgrade worked. None of that had been explained. So I thought it through and went ahead with the deal and all was well until I got an email saying thank you for enrolling in the Verizon protection plan. I had declined the plan. I got my receipt out and sure enough it says decline but there's a line following it showing the protection plan so it's almost like it was entered twice. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon to straighten it all out. So be careful if you do business with these people and double and triple check everything. read more

I've been putting off getting a new phone for 6 years and finally decided it was time. I came in here (after going to Best Buy and being ignored), and it was so easy! There was no waiting and Chris (the manager) was very helpful. They helped me pick out a new phone and transferred all of the data off my old phone. Very good experience! Only making this review because of how rude the two women are there. One is the owner and I actively avoid her. When I did work with her she left out fees I would be paying only to surprise me at the end with them. Honestly that is worst case scenario when you go to get a new phone! She is uber cheap. This was definitely my spot when Jason ( I think this was his name) worked there for several years, but one day I went in and everyone was new. The new employees are nice, but need to ask before they give a $5 discount off a $50 glass screen protector? Omggg. They are a few bucks on Amazon. Other woman very loudly demeans the other employees- on several occasions when I went in. So, in short I guess I need to find a new Verizon spot with no lines!! read more

DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE AT THIS RETAILER. They are not a company store and if they don't get your phone set up right, you will spend many hours on the phone getting it working. We transferred from AT&T and traded in our old iPhone 7's for iPhone 13's. It took 3 days and many calls on my part before we could receive calls. The individual who sold us our phones was not there when we went back the next day to see why we could not receive incoming call's. The individual who was there refused to help and was quite rude. I called their other office in Okemos. The manager there said he would help but kept making excuses and blaming the problem on AT&T. After many, many calls on my part to Verizon Customer Service I FINALLY found out it was the porting dept at Verizon that had not gotten an authorization to accept the port from AT&T. I asked to speak with them and the problem was fixed in minutes. Basically it turned out it was more important for the Mason store to sell phones, then to help customers with the problems you leave them with by doing a poor job of setting them up. We also had problems with a weak signal that we did not have with AT&T. No help from store. Verizon help line finally gave us sent us a signal booster at no cost so we can actually use our phones in our home without sitting by the windows. read more

Do NOT go to the big Verizon store for your phone or plan needs unless you like rotting for hours waiting your turn to talk with someone. Come to Wireless Zone for everything Verizon! They listen to your needs and direct you toward the perfect product for you. They do not try to sell you accessories you don't need. They are staffed by wonder, friendly people who know their product line. read more

Do not use these people. Our jetpack died and I could not order one online because we had no internet to do so (it is cheaper to order online). Christopher was nice at first (he said I could get one in two days and all that). 5 days later I got one and then when I voiced my dissatisfaction over the time it took (he blamed the virus even tho the company that sent it to him took over 2 business days to even ship it out) and said "oh I gave you discounts, etc etc). I told him if he had given me discounts he should have told me that when I first purchased it. I told him he was trying to cover his tracks now that a customer was dissatisfied. I was told by Leah (sorry if I spelled this wrong because she was actually nice) that Christopher would take care of me because he was awesome with customer service. He is NOT awesome with customer service and I would not go here again. He also told me he would issue me a credit for the inconvenience but it never showed up on my cc. read more

I have had mostly good experiences at this location, but there is one employee who never fails to be incredibly unpleasant and rude. Chris always seems rushed when he's "helping" me. He makes snarky comments in an unwelcome tone and talks way too fast when he's explaining things. Then when I do ask a question for clarification or out of confusion, he doesn't seem interested in helping and quickly explains it away. My dad has asked for help with his bill and his phone, and Chris didn't answer either question, he simply referred him to tech support. I refuse to deal with him again, so in the future, if I come into this store and he's there, I will wait until someone else is available. He has zero people skills and should not be working in customer service. read more

I love Wireless Zone so much! They're very helpful and very knowledgeable, and when you go in, you don't get stuck having to take a number and wait like at the Verizon owned stores. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you understand your phone and your plan. I won't go anywhere else! I got the best service by far at this location. I walked in not knowing what I wanted. Josh sat down with me and reviewed my plan then explained that I was paying for services that I no longer needed. Once that was taken care of, he was very patient in helping me understand the different phones. I needed a couple days to make a decision, but when I was ready I drove the extra distance so I could get the unbeatable customer service at this location. After having my new phone a couple weeks, I realized that Josh helped me choose exactly the right phone for me. I will never go anywhere else for my Verizon needs! read more
