    Washington Broadband is the worst service I have ever received in my life and I'm almost 70 years…read moreold. When they first came out to hook up my Internet, they hooked it up wrong for the next 2 to 3 years. I had intermittent and bad service I called them almost daily Until I was told that it's just in my mind it was all my fault and then they went ahead and blame my router so I spent almost $400 on another router to find out the imbeciles wired it when they put it in so for all those years of crappy service Not only didn't say I'm sorry, but they didn't give me any money or any credit for all those years wasted and for the insults that they used on me. After they fixed it and rewired it it works decently but again there is intermittent drops for extended periods of time. That usually happens on the weekend and usually at a time when you cannot get in touch with them. Now you can call them as they suggest and leave a message at certain times and if they allow the phone to take a message most of the time it just rings may be 30 or 40 times and then hangs up, but you can do what they ask you to do and you do not receive, any type of callback or any information at all on what happened or how it can be fixed. Now last night was the topper that really shows what type of people they are. They put a message on the phone to tell everyone that lightning and machines don't mix and that they were going to test out, what I got from it is turning off their Internet and other fail, safes to stop from burning out their equipment now when you buy this, they never say nothing about them, turning off their Internet because there's a storm and the way they say it on this recorded message Paul and listen to it. It's quite funny, apparently lightning storms and thunderstorms are very new to the valley. These people claim to be here for years every year. It's the same thing. This is the first year that they've actually cut my Internet off or if there is something wrong, which I don't believe there is because my Internet just shut off. Nothing happened with my lights, electricity. The Internet just stopped And has been off since around 10 o'clock last night. I called them six times or eight times since last night I have sent them some pretty nasty emails and no response and I still have no Internet. They also talk about updating their phone messages to let us know what's going on that phone message about the thunderstorm we had last night, which lasted all but a minute, was over before midnight and yet they did not change the message and still as of 648 this morning. I have no Internet and no one has tried to get in touch with me about what's happening with my Wi-Fi. All of you know it's summer. I have six kids and grandkids here, all of them who want to use the phone or a game or watch TV all of which cannot be done without the Wi-Fi. Now it's not just Washington Broadband that is not good. Yakima Valley is one of the worst places I've ever lived. They are part of the good old boy network, if you're not part of the wealthy people that start off this valley you're not butthole buddies with them or in tight with them you cannot have a business in this valley and succeed. They price gauge and they set prices between each other so that there's no competition and they put blockades up so that new businesses cannot come into the valley and that's why I still have Washington Broadband I have very little choice in Internet carriers because Yakima County will not let new businesses in. They cannot do this if we don't allow it but apparently the people from Yakima area don't mind getting screwed over because they do nothing about it year after year. They also boast of being the original Yakima networking well I can tell you when I opened a business years ago I went to Yakima networking to get my cameras installed. I met with the owner, who promised me that it would only cost me number of dollars that was his guarantee when he sent the guy over to do the work that went up by several thousand dollars, this is the type of people that Yakima networking and Washington Broadband. No matter what I say no matter who I say it to. It doesn't seem to matter to them because there is no competition and you have nowhere else to go, but I'll tell you the truth if I had up, I would be happy I am about ready to go to one of the great big Nationwide people, even though it's going to cost me much more money well not really that much more since I'm paying $99 a month at Washington Broadband but at least I know I'll get service and at least I know I will be able to hold someone accountable when I don't get service. Buyer beware.

    I have read many bad reviews and have a few friends who truly dislike charter but my personal…read moreexperiences with them are about 95% positive. I always prefer going into my local office instead of calling. Most of the people there are really nice and very helpful. It is true that when your promo price ends you have to jump through a couple hoops to keep your price but I don't know of any TV or internet company that you don't have to do that with. I have tried dish and direct and after the very cheap rate they start you with it goes way, way up and your stuck behind a contract. I've been with charter on and off for over 10 years, I fell for the low promo dish and direct price myself, but always went back to charter. I was surprised when I first bought my place and found out they had service way out here. The TV is rather reliable. There are times that it will pixilate but it is almost always a loose wire, and I think 2 times now I just took the box in and exchanged it and that fixed my issue. Internet is 6 times faster then anything else available. I remember 3 times it actually went out and wasn't for very long. If speeds are slow reboot your modem and router. After extended use the ram and or buffer can fill or glitch, it's a part of using electronics your computer and phone are the same. Sorry to ramble on just wanted to share my experience with them, plus if they leave I'm stuck with sat or the massive 1mps century link got me lol
