I even looked along the checkout line and couldn't find it. I was about to give up when I happened to ask a staff member whereabouts in the store I might find it. She clued me into the markings on the tags that tell them where items might be. She found an item similar to what I was looking for and pointed me in several different directions as to where it might be. I thought I was about to go on a wild goose chase as a few of the areas she directed me to were areas I had already looked in. But I have to give it to her, she was right on with her areas. I did end up finding exactly what I was looking for and was grateful for the help. I did a bit more browsing, picked up a few more items and was on my way to pay. This took quite some time. As with any store like this, they had too few cashiers. Waiting in the line was like having your personal space invaded. I would take one step to keep with the flow of the line and the person behind me would take two.

I couldn't see or ride the bike, I needed an impartial third party to evaluate the bike for condition (and existence) then package and ship it. Valley Cycles was professional to deal with, pointed out the condition of the bike with a knowledgeable eye and were very communicative sending multiple emails. They did a fine job packing the bike, intelligently disassembled which helped ensure it arrived with no damage. Price to pack and ship was reasonable, also they insured it.
