The bill I received was in my name but they told me the account was in another name and therefore nothing could be done until I produced a death certificate which I had already done months before. Was offered a free smart watch and free service when i was looking to switch my service months back. well, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer shortly after big moment in mine and family's life, the smart watch was the least of my worries so was a big surprise when I seen the bill 2 months later for full price of watch and being charged for service. called Xfinity several times, spoke to several people , online chat too and answer was always the same, I had 30 days to activate watch or i was being charged full price for everything, did not care my situation and then finally said O.K. go return to store. Return to store was a nightmare, go in have to take a frkn number to be helped after stating why you are there, and after watching you are prioritized with what you are there for not when you come in. needless to say an he later after telling them i was there to return a watch it was my turn...man comes up and says " we don't take this return, since you got it online" so, $500 in the hole for a watch i never even took out of the box or can use because I don't have the money with all my treatment costs. I work from home and our service has bee down for 24 hours and can't get a repair service to repair their broken and fallen lines that are lying on the ground. couldn't get in touch with them for 6 hours yesterday when finally I reached a customer service agent who said she would put a urgent request in for a line repair to our location. no one has called me as they have my cell number. I can't work and I have a high technical job. I pay over $7,000.00 a year for their fees. it only shows that Xfinity doesn't care. I didn't have to wait for customer service. Although all I needed to do was return some equipment. Xfinity was very disappointing in Pennsylvania unlike California. Billing was always incorrect, Xfinity Representatives were disingenuous to say the least. I was being charged twice a month and when I didn't pay the erroneous bill they charged me $10 a month for it. One could barely wade through the extraneous billing pages in hard copy. I could get nothing corrected. Not by phone and not online. Signing in was extremely difficult. I found I could use hotspot to get YouTube and everything else without Xfinity. Xfinity is a company i would not trust for anything. I got internet service two month ago and had billing problems ever since. The reps tell you one thing but it never happens. I got service and was to be a plug and go. I could not get it to work so i call help line. The lady there could not get it to work either so she said she would send tech out and there would be no charge since she could not get to work. Tech came out got it working. The on my bill i had charge for $100 called about charge and that rep said give me a $50 credit and that did not happen so dont trust them for anything. read more

They used my unauthorized card to charge me in Oct after canceling service in August being told I owed absolutely nothing. Two months in a row. I will dispute with bank , contact ftc and senior fraud division first thing in the morning. They claim they can't send itemized bills. I told them in Aug to remove my card from the system with witnesses listening. They did it twice. As a heart pt on disability poverty level this means I can't afford my meds tomorrow. This company stole money they were told they could not use my bank card. I will take this dispute to the end of time. I was told when canceling I was clear of any further charges and they refuse to give that money back. Now I have to cancel my card and get a new one and dispute this again with my bank. Well I called in for my mother who is 82 and can't navigate the customer support menus because they are designed to keep you away from live customer support reps. After trying every possible path to talk to a human I got thru but note you have to ask for new services or billing issues and then they will eventually switch you into a queue that will allow you to talk to a human. Unfortunately my Mom got the bait and switch where they said we will switch you to a new package where you won't lose any services but it will lower your cost but then after she committed they took away channels, landline, etc. Good Times! We asked two times before she committed, will she lose anything she has currently and the answer was a definitive no. At least they lie with conviction. My advice, don't trust any deal not in writing this operation is very shady.. Wish I didn't have to leave such a scathing review but they earned it. read more

The website is aweful, like truly God-forsakenly terribly made. It's slow and clunky, and the location of the pay bill funtion on their website is practically hidden. Good luck actually paying them because youre going to be seeing a lot of these screens: Image attached. If their own website is slow imagine what the internet they provide is, even with a decent package its still massivly slow at times. Unless you want to fork out a billion dollars for their extra premium super platinum package then you should expect bad service and internet. read more

It started as a quick phone call to find out if they had a phone that was a little older, and if so how much it would cost. For the first 20 minutes I had a very real problem bc I couldn't even talk to the store. I was stuck in an endless loop of automated BS because I have an account. It kept trying to solve a problem I didn't have. After 20 minutes I finally talked to a person that put me through a security check that was both unnecessary because of my question and annoying. The account is in my wife's name so luckily I know everything. DOB and SS #. So after 10 minutes of that we get to my question. No the phone I wanted was not available anymore but they have blah, blah, blah. I said I know what they have but my wife wants a certain phone that I can get new off eBay. For a fraction of the cost. Then they go on and on about unlocked phones. (I've had a new phone almost every 2-3 years,, for 30 years) I explained that the phone I was going to buy was LOCKED to Xfinity. And was new. I couldn't get anything through to this person. So I finally hung up. Worst 45 minutes of my life, which I will never get back. These huge companies really need to be more user friendly and put people on the job that actually listen to the customer. And speak more clearly. xfinity and their stores are the example in business school of poor customer service. just moved in to our new historic home. previous owners had xfinity. took 7 hours to get xfinity to delete an account i had a year ago just so i could access the account. went to store to get modem/router, brought it home, it lasted 6 hours. amplifier fried. bought $500 worth of equipment and still trying to get service. im sure i will get it working but hey Xfinity, how can i have movers load a uhaul, drive it 700 miles, unload it and you still cant make internet functional or stable? they had the audacity to try to upsell me 2x on the chat and the phone, when they couldnt make what i purchased work. the FCC should be investigating this monopoly type mentality where they make enough money that customer service becomes a negative profit center. read more

The worst store ever. My account has been compromised for 7 months. With 180 calls to xfinity and as of today, another 3 calls made. I was told by Xfinity that in order to stop the constant hacking, get their phone. Well, I did this after the bs for over 6 months. As of today, went to attempt to make a payment, somebody's name is on my phone account. I have all their information but, this other person has all of my information. I had to close all my banking information, again!!! Xfinity sent me a letter of my account being compromised and finally acknowledged this after 6 months, but blaming me cause I didn't keep my account secure. I everything possible to secure everything. This is when I purchased their phone. I attempted to go back in the store and talk to the person who sold me the phone, I had a witness with me. She asked me who, I pointed to him. She then yelled me in front everyone in the store saying a bunch of crap which was very unprofessional. I had questions that needed to be answered. I walked out because everyone in the store was looking at me. I am disabled and have limited transportation. As of today, I was told to go back to the store by Xfinity tech support to straighten out all the new mess which is not my doing or fault. I am unable to get to the store for another week cause of my compromised account, due to my transportation issues. Tech support at xfinity will not help me because of all the hacking of my account. Xfinity is at fault here and was and still is. I wanted to put a VPN on my account. I was told, why? They have the best security. Are you kidding. I even filed with the FCC and an ignorant service tech investigator from Xfinity all me. He said he found nothing. Well, Xfinity, you were wrong. The HACKER was located in Georgia. No apologies from Xfinity. And now another hacked account with my phone , and I have to go back to these idiots again. Someone needs to get other choices for internet providers for this area. I had to enter this store in order to replace some of my family members older boxes and modem ( the modem wasn't giving her close to the speeds she was paying for) the representative was friendly and even changed our plan to one that was cheaper and had better speeds and perks than the last plan. By some miracle after 25 minutes and much frustration a sweet voice whose name was Heaven, a Customer service representative, had my problem resolved within 1minute. As far as I am concerned this star i undeserved. Every time I have spoken to a customer service agent they have given me improper information. I almost lost my apartment in March and I was homeless in January. The mobile service representatives have nothing but apathy and left hand has no idea what the right is doing. They have lied to me several times about how payment plans work and if you set one up they lock it at autopay. They have overdrawn my bank account twice. The phone itself is garbage and overheats for absolutely no reason. This is not a Galaxy S21 FE 5G, it's a hunk of metal with a very cheap battery and the cell service is less than adequate. Worst customer service experience I've ever had, the woman greeting customers at the door (Tuesday March 2nd 2021) was the worst employee I've ever had to speak to anywhere. I was promised a free upgrade since I was due for one (even with a cracked screen according to Xfinity whom I called before going to this store to make sure) and the woman told me the opposite. I also purchased the insurance plan on my phone but the guy working when I bought it a year ago was working on me and another customer at the same time so even though I was promised by him that he gave me the insurance he never did. I also asked to pay the remaining balance on my bill which the store can happily do and was rejected by the same woman so now I own two phones and am paying for 2 phone bills at once thanks to this fantastic store. The worst customer service ever! The high pressure ignorant sales person set me all up with my new phone, then tells me he made a mistake and the phone has bigger storage than he thought so my price went way up. Then, he took it upon himself to put my new case and screen protector on and he didn't clean the screen and left a big gross finger print in the middle of the screen cover. I went back because I can't stand looking at it and he told me that it's an air bubble and happens all of the time. Air bubbles do not have identifying lines going thru them, it's clearly his fingerprint. He told me to check the warranty on the screen cover and call the company because there is nothing he can do. Very rude, very cocky. Another Xfinity worker was yelling so loudly at an elderly gentlemen she made him tear up. I will go to this store again. read more
