The process was very easy and straightforward, which I appreciated, but the best thing was that this bouquet was made and delivered in something like 2 hours. It's a little on the expensive side but I don't really care when I can get service like this. Amazing job, thank you so much.

Our visit to Evan's King Floral wasn't the most happy of trips. My family and I were tasked to…read morepurchase floral arrangements for my grandmother's funeral. Needless to say, we were stressed and exhausted. I went online to estimate the cost of such flowers and found outrageous prices! I called other local florists and the none of the staff seemed very professional. Luckily, my stepfather recommended Evan's because he had good experiences with them. I pretty much passed the place almost everyday for 20 years, but never stopped in. Mom and I went down there and were greeted by a friendly pup who lives at the store, and later, an adorable kitty! Anyway, the lady working asked why we were there and immediately showed us to the books that contained the funeral arrangements. All we knew was gram loved purple, and she was wearing her favorite blue dress. We look at all the books and just gave her some suggestions- blue, purple, bright, some pink, etc. We left feeling a bit worried because we were all over the place. And as for the price- for two sprays and a pillow, it came out to less than $400. I was blown away after remembering the prices online!! When we arrived at the funeral home, I didn't even get to look at the flowers before someone came up to me and said what a great job we did. They looked AMAZING. They had all of the qualities we wanted for gram's last farewell. We made sure to let everyone know- it wasn't us that did the great job, it was Evan's King Floral!!

I went into Bell Furniture on a whim. I'd seen the place in passing before and decided to go in. At…read morefirst, I didn't see anyone inside. It wasn't until I was halfway to the back of the store, that I saw an older lady seated at a desk. I wasn't sure she even worked there until she spouted out "What do you want?" Perhaps, she realized the words rolling off her lips may not have been so appropriate to say to a potential customer, so she quickly followed up with a rushed "How may I help you?" I was taken aback. I'd never been greeted this way anywhere else. But I played it off, taking it in stride and replied that I was just looking and I proceeded to do just that. She said nothing else, although she kept her eye on me. As I made my way to the rear of the store, she went into the other half of the store front to a back room area where 2 men were discussing business. As I walked into the other half as well I over heard her say to them "I don't want to deal with this today..." I lost the rest of what she said and their replies as I moved toward the front of their second room. The gist of it became obvious as the 2 men stepped out into the first room to continue their conversation. The woman made sure she checked on me by peaking around the corner until I looked at her. I decided at that point it was time to leave. I left the store the way I came and bade the woman a good day. I could talk about their inventory and prices but that service kind of defeats that point. I'm not sure what she thought I was planning on stealing in a furniture store but I'm pretty sure that nothing in there would have been easily concealed under my jacket. I could not imagine trying to explain to the police how a nightstand wound up under my coat. Given this experience, I don't think I could recommend Bell Furniture to anyone.
