We returned to the store and explained the situation to the employee. He was kind and processed my request for a full refund including the phone , phone case and screen protector. He also waived the restocking fee. However there was still an unexplained $43 difference between what I paid originally and what I received as my refund. It wasn't worth arguing with the young man. The tech felt it was related to sales tax. No matter the case , I purchased a broken phone , my gift was ruined , I had to spend time returning to the store and I'm out $43. Just buy your phone from Apple directly like I should have done in the first place. I learned a lesson and I hope this review can spare someone else this aggravation.

The sales agent, Drake, sold me a phone that turned out to have been reported stolen & blacklisted. I never reported the phone. Another business line was attached to the phone (not mine). I was told the issue had been resolved on 2/8. Fast forward to 8/1, the phone has been reported stolen & blacklisted again. As a result, I am unable to use the service I am actively paying for. I contacted the Macedonia store twice & spoke with the manager, Emily, which refused to help. I have visited 5 other AT&T stores (one being a corporate store in Strongsville), called loyalty 10x, spoke to 10+ different AT&T agents, 4 supervisors, 4 store managers, 4 IT techs & opened 6 fraud cases. All the fraud cases closed & received a email they are unable to help. Going on day 13, my phone still doesn't work and the issue has not been resolved.

There were even a couple of times where Joel took the time to trouble shoot and ultimately fix whatever the issue was and then offer no charge. Looking back, I wonder if this was possibly because my issue was minor- something that most people would be able to understand and therefore take care of on their own but either way, in this day and age, it's next to impossible to find that kind of generous kindness. As a thank you, I always tipped him. Yesterday I had to jump through hoops just to try to fix my phone and to buy a new phone. It was very stressful and annoying. The whole time I kept saying to my husband that I wished aha was still open. So Joel, if you see this, thank you and know that a lot of people miss aha!

I was skeptical it could be fixed. I called around for prices, and FastFix had the best. As soon as I told Neil what was going on with my phone, he knew how to fix it. I was planning on running errands while he fixed my phone, but ended up locking my keys in my truck. Neil was extremely easy going and friendly. He made sure my 2 year old daughter and I were comfortable. He even let her watch her favorite movie on his Netflix while we waited. Even better, my phone was fixed before AAA got there. I haven't had a problem with my phone since. Not only did he fix my phone, but his customer service made my bad day better.

I shattered my phone screen and went on yelp to see companies right away to get it fixed. They had great ratings and people loved them. People mentioned groupon so that was an easy link and I purchased a far more reasonably priced service. I came back at the allotted time (45 min due to busy Saturday) and it was ready for me. Clean and new with no issues. No exchange of money due to the groupon and they told me about the warranty. Unfortunately over the next two days I realized the screen wasn't registering my finger print. I called and they said sometimes screens are defective, apologized, and said it can be a delayed response, bring it in whenever convenient for me. Next time I brought it in it was the same experience...great and quick. They replaced the screen completely and even saved my screen protector I had bought and put it back on for me. Now the screen works perfectly. Dont waste your time and money trying to fix screens by yourself when this is so quick, easy, convenient, and legit. SO SO worth the money. Long lines, indifferent staff that were trying to squeeze every penny from you etc. for the past few years I have avoided the stores and conducted my dealings with them online. But this weekend I had to go to the store for a complicated issue of getting two new phones, adding a line, and moving lines around. I dreaded going in, and prepared myself for a long wait and some arguments to get what I wanted. Well, something has changed in the past few years, because there were no lines and the staff could not have been more helpful. Everything was really fast, and they actually showed me a couple ways that I could actually lower my bill. I was really impressed. This wasn't an anomaly either- because I went in the next day to trade in an old phone, and it was the same. No line, and fast friendly help. In fact, I had been considering switching from Verizon to another carrier, but this experience convinced me to stick with Verizon. I wish there was some way to let Verizon corporate know that their awesome staff saved them from losing three unlimited data lines to another carrier. I am very pleased with my experience, and won't hesitate to visit this store in the future.
