Already perturbed, I stood for another couple of minutes appearing to need help within eyeshot of both of the men. They started to walk away when the "senior" gentleman finally acknowledged me. He sent a rep over to me. I explained I wanted 55 or 65 inch tv preferably Samsung or LG, QLED tech, and open box if possible. He took me over and without asking any more questions showed me an OLED. Far outside what I anticipated paying, when there are clearly other 55" QLED options. When I asked him about the Samsung 55" QLED in the back of the stack of open box TVs, I was told that it wasn't a good tv. I'm no expert but I certainly would want to know if my people were going straight to "not a good tv" rather than "what do you like about that one?" The man also could not get to his water bottle quick enough. Sipped on it during the experience. I asked a few more questions to give him another shot but he also disparaged other TVs. I couldn't leave fast enough. I did not get any of their names but this was around noon today. I LOVE shopping for toys like that, but this experience was not how you please your customers and get them to come back.

When I returned to the shop to get my refund, I brought the laptop. The owner, the day before, had had me try to log in after offering me the refund, but I had forgotten my password and needed to try at home. However, knowing I had to download over 200GB of files from OneDrive myself, I spent 45 minutes trying to log into Microsoft across my phone and three PCs, but could not. Tech A was cool toward my presence but listened and helped me get logged in. While the refund was processing, I opened the OneDrive box and noted out loud that it was asking to upload, but I needed to download. That is when Tech B snapped at me, saying, "YOU don't get that." He meant that because I was getting a refund, he wouldn't help me. I pointed out that even for the full fee, the shop had originally sent me home with zero instructions on how to log in or download my files. Up until Tech B's words, I was going to move on. As a senior citizen, that petty comment and his angry, dismissive attitude are what I will remember about this business. A sincere apology from the owner and the technician would make this right, but so far, they have chosen not to take that path. UPDATE: I formally notified the owner via email about this incident, and he chose not to respond or address his staff's behavior apparently. I took both of my computers to Ram Online in Brunswick, where they treated me with total respect and started the OneDrive download for free in under a minute.

I went through pricing with the sales representative and he added a 24 month equipment charge plus the installment purchase down payment less the trade in fee of the iPhone 8 he gave me the hard figure of $437 for an iPhone 12. Today I reviewed my T-Mobile statement and my bill increased by $16.83 for 30 months (or $504.90) plus the initial purchase down payment. The bottom line is that I believe that the T-Mobile sales process is complicated on purpose. It's definitely a shell game intended to confuse clients and get you to pay more money. Next time around I'll buy a phone directly from Apple. I'm not sure how much it will cost but I bet the transaction will be more straight forward.

No offer to look online for the item to see if he could make a sale today. Lo and behold the item is available online. He was informed that the item is available online and only then did he want to make a sale for his store. If your store is or isn't busy take a moment to help the customer and make the sale. Target is relying too heavily on self service lines and over whelming the only human on duty. This was not a one time occurrence it was the same situation last month. Hire more human cashiers so the human shoppers don't have to spend their weekends in long slow moving lines. Also had a pick up and if it wasn't for the kindness of the only person at the desk I would still be waiting, long lines in all areas of exit. Employees are courteous but over worked.
