He also waived the restocking fee. However there was still an unexplained $43 difference between what I paid originally and what I received as my refund. It wasn't worth arguing with the young man. The tech felt it was related to sales tax. No matter the case , I purchased a broken phone , my gift was ruined , I had to spend time returning to the store and I'm out $43. Just buy your phone from Apple directly like I should have done in the first place. I learned a lesson and I hope this review can spare someone else this aggravation.

I was skeptical it could be fixed. I called around for prices, and FastFix had the best. As soon as I told Neil what was going on with my phone, he knew how to fix it. I was planning on running errands while he fixed my phone, but ended up locking my keys in my truck. Neil was extremely easy going and friendly. He made sure my 2 year old daughter and I were comfortable. He even let her watch her favorite movie on his Netflix while we waited. Even better, my phone was fixed before AAA got there. I thought that was really nice, since most places would've been sorry for your luck. We waited about 15 minutes for him to come back. One of the other employees offered my friend a chair since they only had one and she had a hard time getting off of that one. It's very open as in a bit empty inside but they sell phones, cases, screen repair and other things you would find in convenience type stores. The two gentlemen we dealt with were really friendly. Her phone screen replacement was $90 for an iPhone 13. At least we know of a place close to home to get the screens fixed for a decent price.
