Even though we moved a little farther away we still come here for our dry cleaning. What happened today shouldn't happen to ANY African American, EVER. I was waiting at one of two registers with my items while one of the employees rang up a customer on the second register. There was a caucasian male at the back of the store who saw me waiting and got in line behind the person already being helped. The employee, who also saw me waiting, proceeded to help the caucasian male. I asked the employee why he allowed the caucasian male to skip me in line but was ignored. The second employee on site, who was eating pizza at the time, finally got up and proceeded to assist this same caucasian male with his dry cleaning, before finally coming over to help ring up my items. This is not the first time I've seen this happen, as I have been a loyal customer since this business first opened. Not only have I been blatantly discriminated against, the employees have been more concerned with their cellphones and side conversations than good customer service. This probably wouldn't be tolerated if the owners were ever on site making sure their business was being run correctly. Black Lives Matter shouldn't just be a sticker Veridian owners place on the door when it's popular, then remove when it's convenient. If this matter isn't addressed immediately, I will be taking my money elsewhere and alerting the Better Business Bureau regarding the discriminatory practices at this location. read more

A one stop shop within walking distance from several apartment buildings in the area. Great for when you need to pick up a few things. The store has a little bit of everything from wine and beer to ramen noodles (and not just the .25 packs). The staff are really nice and approachable. They do a great job of developing a relationship with their regular customers. They also do dry cleaning at a reasonable price. read more

I was looking for a place to get my shirts pressed (since I hate ironing) and I needed to pick up more beer for my fridge. Then I stumbled upon this place! Great idea. I can drop my shirts off AND pick up a 6-pack (great selection BTW). Talk about a one stop shop! On top of that they managed to get a stain out of my favorite shirt too! What a bonus. The shirts were done shortly thereafter, and I was out of beer again. Perfect timing! I could pick up the shirts and more beer. This is a great time saver. The people who own the market as nice too. This place is almost five stars. A great place to get beer, especially micro-brews and local beers. The beer selection is simply fantastic for a corner store. They also have a decent wine selection. This place understands the market and stocks good cheese and fancy organic soups, along with some of the typical corner store staples. They also have some fresh fruits and vegetables, which is nice. This place is also pet friendly, which is a huge plus. It's great being able to go in here while I'm walking my dog and pick up a few things. This place also does dry cleaning, and they do a good job. It's nice to have one place to go for everything. There are four liquor stores close to my residence. This one is closest. Lucky me. While they are small, they have a good wine and beer selection especially for a corner store kinda place. They also carry some great natural drinks that you would find in your local Whole Foods, and for a tad less. The service is good. Prices are standard for the quality and it being a corner store in a high rise apartment building. I didn't know they were pet friendly until I read the reviews. I wish I would have known instead of having had tied my dog up in the front and being paranoid someone would steal her being only 15 lbs or so. Now I know! read more

I am using them almost daily. Best thing is that they are open till 10PM or even 11PM over weekend - no issues with picking up my laundry (they even cleaned up the old stain on my favorite shirt). I have been going here for over a year now. I feel very lucky to live next to such a terrific store. The owner is a really great and very friendly guy who cares about you as a person and a customer. He is always enthusiastically giving me genuine recommendations on wines to try (and he really knows his wine!). There is also a terrific beer selection. My clothes always comes back perfect from the dry cleaning. Nick, the owner, will personally make sure you get what you need. I'm a fan of this place because of the wide variety of food/drinks they stock. Very clean, very professional environment - the cashier is on a granite countertop! The one major drawback is the prices. A gallon of milk costs almost $5! And it's Costco brand milk so you know they paid less than $2 for it and are charging double. The only reason I go is because it is extremely convenient - its only 30 feet from our offices. Overall extremely convenient range of products in a great location but way too expensive. read more

This market is clean, well organized, well lit, has good prices on beer, and has friendly service as well. What more could you want? Dirty and pricey convenience shops are all too common. This place stands out to me. The food is on par with a regular convenience shop. Personally, nothing strikes me here as more unhealthy than your average convenience shop...so I don't know why other people are hatin' on that. The people that work here are always smiling. Yall know that isnt common. Laundry service is reasonably priced. They also give you your own re-usable laundry bag. Awesome! In my opinion, Veridian Market is way better than the next closest shop (lenox beer & wine). This is really a neighborhood shop - not a whole lot of street parking, but it's not really necessary since this shop serves mostly residents of the apartments and condos nearby. read more

I always come here whenever I'm in a pinch because I'm out of eggs or milk. They have a decent sized convenience store with everything you could need between trips to the grocery store. I love/hate that there's a liquor store so close to my building! As a beer snob, their microbrew beer selection is pretty awesome, and their wine selection is pretty great too considering how small the real estate is. The owners are very friendly and are always working...so you know you'll get quality service. My friend was asking if they had soju and they didnt.
