Wasn't sure if I needed to dress up, be casual etc. I had the perfect opportunity to visit last night. There's ample parking in the back, if all spots are taken there are spots across the street too. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered the figgy piggy flatbread, chicken tenders with fries and the steak frites and desserts. The flatbread was yummy! I enjoyed it very much. The steak frites smelled delicious ! Even the couple next to us ordered this same dish based on the smell alone. The fries were crispy and very flavorful. The steak (ordered medium) wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked. It also wasn't as tender. I tried my niece's chicken tenders and they were ok. Nothing special, not as crispy. They were more stringy and dry. We ordered desserts too! Tiramisu and crème brûlée. Both delicious ! The ambience is casual. The people are friendly (Kensington is a very friendly place !). I was also surprised to know they had an upstairs level ! Overall, it was fun and the food was hit or miss. I would try it again and try something new.

While the lean staff of two were friendly and attentive, the food was NOT served hot and really missed the mark. A real bummer on a cold day, when we were looking for something to get us out of the home. ORDERED: grilled chicken sandwich and the burger .. they've been good in the past, but maybe Wine & Co. has lost its way?

A bit too bland. I love that they bake the ciabatta baguettes in-house, but the bread didn't have a lot of flavor either. A good sandwich needs good bread. They get major points for fresh bread, but the turkey & swiss sandwich didn't leave me with a drool factor. Cappuccino was unremarkable & expensive for a 6oz cup. Worth the drive? I specifically had in mind what I wanted to buy. Flying Dog Truth Unleashed IPA variety pack. I found one 12 pack left. It was $25.99, but they had a 10% off all beer sale, which saved me $2.80. I didn't know they applied a credit card surcharge of 3.00%. Is this a new thing? I would have paid in cash. Had I known they did this since I had enough money in my wallet. The two gentlemen working were super nice so that made up for it.

On top of that, the store isn't all that clean. There are definitely better places to shop for quality beer and wine. Oh, did I mention the prices are inflated, most of the wine bottle are covered with dust and there is a minimum dollar amount before using card transactions. She was rude to not only my friend but also me. Sad thing, we approached the counter for two separate transactions. So his encounter had nothing to do with my encounter but we both were treated poorly. This weekend was my last time visiting that store. If you want to be treated fairly and with respect, don't shop there.
