We had Verde Creations install artificial grass in our backyard and we are beyond happy with the results. They went above and beyond our expectations by first making sure we had proper drainage installed and correcting the slope of our yard. They did a great job of planning the layout for the grass to make sure it would look good. And they took their time in installing the artificial grass so that it looks perfect and will hold up. We love our backyard and love that there is now no upkeep in keeping the grass green.

We started with what was to be a straight forward driveway replacement. Old cracked/cast in place cement being replaced with pavers. Travis recommended lights and we agreed that was worthwhile based on the scope of what was being done, and this being something we will look at every day, multiple times per day. The pavers were also going to be extended to the front door replacing an additional old sidewalk. We didn't want the least expensive contractor. We wanted someone that was reasonably priced, who would stand behind their work. Bella Rosa is that company. The project turned out better than expected. The lights are icing on the cake. The pavers look phenomenal. All that said, there were a few hiccups along the way. Miscommunications on Bella Rosa's side related to what was discussed initially, and when the crew came out for installation. However, Travis always quick to reply, prompt to meet to work through the details and we were very satisfied. As the front was nearing completion we were so confident in Travis's team, Freddy was the foreman on our project, we added on additional things to the original scope. Including, redoing a flagstone walkway, cleaning out a side yard area, removing a layer of soil, adding stabilized decomposed granite, putting in lights along a back fence line. We can't recommend Bella Rosa highly enough. Travis and his team do very good work. And, when things come up, which is normal in construction, they will stand by their work and resolve any unexpected things. These are projects we could've DIY'd, but the result would not have looked as good, and would've required many months to complete.

He and his team put down fresh bark in both the front and back yard, trimmed all the plants and trees, removed weeds, and cleaned up several non-conforming shrubs that had gotten out of control. The entire job took about 4-5 hours, and the transformation was noticeable immediately. What I appreciate most is their professionalism and efficiency. They show up on time, work hard, and leave everything looking clean and sharp. No mess left behind -- just a yard that looks dialed in. If you're looking for reliable landscaping work and want it done right the first time, I highly recommend Suncrest Landscape. I'll definitely be using them again.

His communication is excellent, and he does what he says he will. Troy and his team landscaped our backyard--transforming it from dirt and rocks into a beautiful and functional space for our family. Troy gave us great suggestions to get the most out of our small square footage. He also prepared all the documentation we needed to get HOA approval for the project. He started and completed the project on time and kept us informed along the way, so we knew exactly what would be happening at our home each day. Troy's team were skilled and meticulous in their work. They also were friendly and considerate of us and our home--a pleasure to have around. They took care in their work and cleaned up at the end of each workday. Troy genuinely cared about making our yard work for our family--he treats each yard as his own. We could not be happier with the end result or with our experience working with Troy. We would hire Suncrest again for any project and recommend them unreservedly.

When they did respond, the guy was unable to commit to a start date which was a RED FLAG for me! Plus his company reviews reflected my own experience just getting the guy to pick up the phone or come by my house. Very poor business practices! I checked the yelp reviews for landscaper designers and consulted with a friend who recommended calling Terrain Creations. What a difference, Juan actually answered my phone call, came by my house promptly and worked with me on designing something for my front yard. From start to finish, Juan and his crew were there on time everyday, removing the old yard, repairing the sprinkler systems, planting new plants and installing artificial grass. Brought his measuring unicycle and didn't measure a thing. Of the 4-5 landscapers that have come already, I am getting written estimates from all of them. This company either sent someone with no experience, my project is overwhelming, or ?? Very bizarre. To be clear, the other landscapers also offer the design aspect, and they/I plan on doing the design piece. I am just looking for estimates first along with meeting you and feeling your enthusiasm for the project. After meeting and texting with you, and reviewing your photos, my job may have been out of scope for you. I wanted a lot of fun stuff; bocce ball, basketball, inground trampoline, and a lot of ground cover and plants. I will give 4 stars instead of three, as I posted all of my wants in my Yelp request, so my expectation is that you will come ready.

This was a yard that had been through the wringer, drought, voles, irrigation breaks. Had pretty much deteriorated to a large weed patch. Large yard, too, probably close to 2500 square feet. I have a nice looking home otherwise, so, it was making me crazy. Junior impressed me right away, very professional and knows his sh*t. I saw no reason to get any other quotes. We talked, he took some pics and measurements, and we shook hands and agreed to work together. I put together some drawings of how I wanted the design, we met again, flushed some things out and agreed on a plan. He provided me a very concise and clear written quote, I signed, and we agreed on a start time a little later in the summer, better for both of us. End of August, they got started, and BAM, they were on it. These guys are awesome, hard working, smart, focused, and absolutely know how to maximize their time. What they accomplished in two weeks is still mindblowing to me. I have mostly worked things by myself, around the house, and this would have taken me a whole summer to get done, maybe longer. Everything came out exactly as planned. It looks soooo great, absolutely exceeded my expectations. I can't stress how much I enjoyed the process of just watching it all come together. Turf, Rock, Stone, Plantings, all of it looks so good. DLH was a pleasure to work with every step. Much thanks to Junior and all of the guys for all of their effort. We spent many hours researching and carefully reviewed all the pool builders in our area. Many of the local pool companies had mixed reviews, even the pool company recommended by our builder had very mixed reviews. When I researched Jim Chandler Pools, all his reviews were all good, I even checked several different websites and those had good reviews too. Because of this we decided to give him a call to discuss our pool project and from the moment I spoke with Jim, I knew we had the right guy. He was easy to talk with and listened to what we were looking for in a pool, he gave us lots of ideas and options to think about before our first meeting. Jim went to our new home site to review the lot/backyard to ensure what we had discussed was going to work in our new backyard. Once we met in person to review the plans, he made recommendations in order to try to keep us in budget or as close to it as possible. When I called Jim's references, everyone I spoke with highly recommended him, they enjoyed working with him, said he was very professional, kept them up to date with the progress, and completed the project on time and in budget. During Jim's first meeting with the City's Planning department, he found out we had very expansive soil which is a problem when installing pools. Jim explained the extra costs when building a pool with expansive soil, it creates a lot of extra work during construction as well as a lot of extra cost to reinforce the pool and pool deck. To help cover the extra costs, Jim recommended some changes to our design in order to save money to help cover the unexpected costs as we did not budget for this type of problem. We were still over budget but some of it was the expansive soil and the rest were my fault . Jim would be on site for each step to ensure everything was done to his expectations. All the contractors Jim uses do great work, they are on time, very professional, and cleaned up after they completed their work. After working with Jim, I now know why the references I called spoke so highly him, he is a great contractor, stays on top of every detail, works closely with you during the whole process from start to end. We just finished our pool, took longer because of soil issues and Covid but we made it. We are very happy with our new pool; and look forward too many years of enjoying the pool. We are very happy we choose Jim Chandler Pools; he really enjoys his job and it shows with the completed product. I am sure there are cheaper pool builders out there, but if you want it done right then I highly recommend Jim Chandler Pools.

UPDATE: It's been three years now. We have had two issues with our pool. First, a lot of…read morehorizontal trim tile came off on the spa area where it connects with the pool. We had two separate repairs made on it, and it has held since the last repair which was last summer. Apparently some water got under the tile and continued to move through them, pushing them up. The tile work was warranted for three years, so there was no charge to us. The other issue is really a matter of design. The spa was designed at the same level as the pool, with water that communicates between the two. In the summer or when there is not rain, the system works fine, and the hot tub will be hot within about 30-60 minutes, depending on the outside temperature with almost no pool water coming in and cooling it off. However, as soon as the pool water level rises much at all (after just a couple of rains), the hot tub takes much longer to heat. At about $20/hour to heat it and more than an hour, it is not worth it to us. We checked with Jim about raising the level of the spa, and he checked with the builders and it is not recommended. We are very disappointed because the only solution is to spend hours draining the pool down to a normal water level. We had normal rains last year, and more than normal this year, but after five years of drought, it seems wasteful and we know that the autofill will just end up kicking on again when the temperatures warm up. So our choice is to not use the spa all winter or to discard all the extra water at a time when our water infrastructure is at a maximum level in the area. If we were doing another pool/spa combination we would DEFINITELY have the spa elevated to avoid this design issue.
