Let me tell you this place is amazing in service, quality of food, atmosphere and organization. I have had many parties in the past, from birthday to showers, engagement party and wedding party. I have dealt with many banquet halls/ restaurants. However, veranda just set a new bar for what to expect. The staff is so genuinely friendly. And i mean genuine ! They were so attentive to the guests and the host it was amazing. Truly was able to enjoy my event because of this. They labeled everything they packed for us !!! We had some alcohol left over, food and cake and they labeled this ! I had never seen this done anywhere else ! Thank you !!! Stay away if you have a large party!!!!! We reserved here for 30 people to celebrate my moms 60th bday. I was highly recommended to go here because of the live entertainment and food. Anyways I called Armen the manager there and asked to make sure we are NOT SEATED NEAR THE WALLS, THE BATHROOMS OR EXIT!!!! I said my mom is very particular about seating, please do your best to get us seated in a nice area. He assured me we'd have 3 round tables (which are seated in the middle) and that he'd do his best to Accommodate us! What does veranda/he do?! They sit us in long rectangle tables AGAINST THE WALL RIGHT NEXT TO THE EXIT NEXT TO THE BATHROOMS!!! Lowkey felt like this guy sat us here on purpose. Our food was cold by the time we sat down because of the breeze near the exit. Everyone was crammed in together because of the tables and being seated right against the wall! my whole party was uncomfortable! We actually had cold food the entire time. Mind you that's all for package #2 which is $140 per person. Also the main course foods that's pictured is half or what you get!!!! By the time the meats were all served, half the table didn't get kebabs. I've never gone to a middle eastern/Armenian restaurant where the food is shorted!!! That was so weird to me!!!! The dance floor was tiny so you couldn't even dance, oh and we were behind a pillar so we couldn't even see anything! but I have to say the only thing that was good was the live entertainment. Had they sat us in the round tables like we had discussed everything would have came out better. We felt like the peasants in the restaurants with where we were seated, it wasn't nice and it wasn't fair because we were the largest party there and got the shittiest seating! Today was my sister's baby shower, we had an amazing time and everyone was so impressed with the service we were provided. They claimed that they called me to confirm the reservation, but they never did! Btw, usually when I make a reservation to this restaurant, no one calls to confirm it. This venue has been around for a while but is now under new management and a new name. Parking is great since it's right across the street. This was my first time here but other people in my group have been here before. I liked the overall design and flow of the rooms. Very classy and modern. The food was good overall. The music was great. Compared to other banquet halls it's on the small side. But that can be a good thing if you want to book the whole place for yourself. I would recommend this place. read more

Really nice 2nd floor seating. The drinks were good. The hookah was good. I only had a poke type of appetizer and dessert so I can't really comment on food. But the drinks were delicious. Not watered down like many places do. Hookah did take a bit longer but it may have just been that day. Seems like a great date spot. Left happy. read more

I have been in Veranda restaurant on multiple events, it's time to review it. Amazing renovation! Very modern and cool! Entertainment, top notch! I have seen here all popular Armenian singers. That's awesome !!! Besides you can listen russian and english artists as well. Food: delicious barbecue, salads and appetizers are plenty and very delicious. Everything is well organized. Overall it's worth to spend a great time here whether it's a birthday party or a wedding. read more

I don't know where to start. What an awful experience.. I was invited to an invent today, mind you it's over 100 degrees, and let me tell you I wish I didn't attend. There was no AC or fans. And clearly the owner of this establishment doesn't care. There were 13 people sitting on each table and sharing food. Waiters not wearing masks nor keeping 6 feet distance. How is this even allowed by CDC or Health Department. Thank god I didn't even eat food from the table. The food looked like it was few days old. Avocado salad looked so black and old that just by looking at it you feel like throwing up. They had cold cuts on the table which looked like it's been sitting under the heat for past few hours. The jalapeño bacon looked as if it was made few days ago and it was just warmed up to fool the guest. Perhaps unexpected audit from CDC and health department wouldn't hurt at this point. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Please save your $$$ and go elsewhere where they accommodate and follow rules and regulations. If there was 0 stars I would most definitely rate as 0. read more

Was here a week ago for my sisters birthday. Horrible service from the staff. During the event my guests had requested drinks and had paid the waiter for them, but at the end I ended up paying for the drinks again on my bill. Also at the end the same waiter brought drinks without us requesting for them and said it was complimentary from him and again we were charged for them on our bill. Our cake was cut in small pieces and when asked where the rest of it was the same waiter said it was all finished. The point is not the cake or the drinks, its how your customers are treated. We came here to celebrate my Boyfriends Mothers Birthday, and they did not disappoint! They brought out an entire spread and we were all so impressed. Their meat was so tender and food was so fresh.
