March 16, 2024 we celebrated my son's 21st birthday at Veranda Restaurant. I just wanted to say how thankful I am for choosing them as my venue. I had 180 guests and every single individual, including myself, was so satisfied for their excellent service and professionalism. Food was beyond amazing. We had such a great experience and would recommend this venue to everyone! Thank you so much Armen ! read more

I don't even know where to start :) this is my favorite place for many reasons! First of all as a customer I appreciate the customer service, especially from Andrei and along that they have the best choice of food and beverages! Not to mention the live music that creates a great vibe while enjoying your dinner! Definitely recommend this place for your special occasions or even when you just need to enjoy yourself! read more

The food is mediocre, no AC and valet cost $22. Asked valet if their services are for Veranda and was told yes. Ridiculous and not worth it! Use to be better. Went for a bridal shower and left hungry. read more

I was there last night for a girls night loved the atmosphere very beautiful. The food is delicious they had nice jazz music outside with a live band it was amazing. My only recommendation to this restaurant is for the waiters to be a little more alert because they kept forgetting our drinks. read more

Have been here couple times for bridal shower and baby showers love the outside view, food is great, service was great. Would definitely recommend for special events read more

The words are not enough to express my impression about this restaurant. The dishes are die for! The cosy atmosphere and great service are exceptional. The waitress Sheyla is amazing. Her service is unmatched. Every time she brought dishes with her beautiful smile on her face. Whatever we tried, was literally melted in our mouths! The owner is a super nice and a very professional man who creates an unbelievably welcoming and warm atmosphere! This restaurant is really one of a kind. read more

This place was so yummy, and the service was A1! The ambiance was also gorgeous. Highly recommend for girls nights!

What can I say about this place? Only positive thoughts!!! This banquet hall is incredible! Tasty food, rich menu, great service, nice live music with great musicians. This place is good for all occasions and if you want to spend quality time here, make your reservation before. Parking is available. I love this place and I hope that this restaurant will serve for many years with the same quality! read more

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Glendale . The food is always fantastic. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience especially Harut . I would like to come back here again and again. Highly recommend! read more

I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere ,the entertainment the live music ,the food quality ,everything is great one thing you see exceptional here That you will not find at other places is the services that they provide ,the attendance & the extra care Of the servers is amazing you cannot find such a service anywhere else. Also what I like here is the management they try to invite many famous Armenian singers from outside USA to perform outstanding concerts ,I've been to two of them both were amazing. Friday's and Saturdays are more busy cause they have live music . For hookah lovers it's a classy lounge not like the other places that I've been ,so dress up chic go and enjoy . Also They are kids friendly . At our last visit we were debating about the two fishes we ordered so the server Vasken called The chef Taron To explain what's the difference, And because the chef was so happy from our comments they heard that my friends were first time visitors so he surprised us by sending three different items from the menu on the house. Only at Veranda you see such care & service . read more

Amazing food and service. The hall was pretty nice for small events. Attended a baby shower and loved the size of the hall.

Stay away if you have a large party!!!!! We reserved here for 30 people to celebrate my moms 60th bday. I was highly recommended to go here because of the live entertainment and food. Anyways I called Armen the manager there and asked to make sure we are NOT SEATED NEAR THE WALLS, THE BATHROOMS OR EXIT!!!! I said my mom is very particular about seating, please do your best to get us seated in a nice area. He assured me we'd have 3 round tables (which are seated in the middle) and that he'd do his best to Accommodate us! What does veranda/he do?! They sit us in long rectangle tables AGAINST THE WALL RIGHT NEXT TO THE EXIT NEXT TO THE BATHROOMS!!! Lowkey felt like this guy sat us here on purpose. Our food was cold by the time we sat down because of the breeze near the exit. Everyone was crammed in together because of the tables and being seated right against the wall! my whole party was uncomfortable! We actually had cold food the entire time. Mind you that's all for package #2 which is $140 per person. Also the main course foods that's pictured is half or what you get!!!! By the time the meats were all served, half the table didn't get kebabs. I've never gone to a middle eastern/Armenian restaurant where the food is shorted!!! That was so weird to me!!!! The dance floor was tiny so you couldn't even dance, oh and we were behind a pillar so we couldn't even see anything! but I have to say the only thing that was good was the live entertainment. Had they sat us in the round tables like we had discussed everything would have came out better. We felt like the peasants in the restaurants with where we were seated, it wasn't nice and it wasn't fair because we were the largest party there and got the shittiest seating! Mark my words i will never come here again! A girl felt Bamboozled and played to say the least. My mom also wasn't happy, thanks for messing up her night! :( read more

This place has to be one of the hidden gems of Glendale. The food, service and ambiance is like none other. I have hosted and been guests at countless events, have yet to leave disappointed. From the week night jazz nights to live entertainment on the weekends to the private events, all were up to par. The food is modern with hints of cultural flavors and the service is that of a five star restaurant with staff constantly checking in on you. I love the outdoor patio for birthdays and small events, while indoor has a different, more formal environment. read more

I have reserved a table for my mom's birthday a week ago for a Saturday night. We go there and I get shocked that our reservation is canceled. They claimed that they called me to confirm the reservation, but they never did! Btw, usually when I make a reservation to this restaurant, no one calls to confirm it. I insisted on talking to the manager, but it was pointless. Luckily I was able to find another place to go to. I am so disappointed with this restaurant!! read more

This venue has been around for a while but is now under new management and a new name. Parking is great since it's right across the street. This was my first time here but other people in my group have been here before. I liked the overall design and flow of the rooms. Very classy and modern. The food was good overall. The music was great. Compared to other banquet halls it's on the small side. But that can be a good thing if you want to book the whole place for yourself. I would recommend this place. read more

See all

Really nice 2nd floor seating. The drinks were good. The hookah was good. I only had a poke type of appetizer and dessert so I can't really comment on food. But the drinks were delicious. Not watered down like many places do. Hookah did take a bit longer but it may have just been that day. Seems like a great date spot. Left happy. read more

Best place to spend a nice evening with good company!! Food is amazzzzzzzing The jazz band is wonderful read more

Great atmosphere, delicious food, amazing band at the patio . Nice concerts on a special occasions

Loved this place so much. We hosted a proposal party and the atmosphere was perfect outside. The service is unmatched, Armen was literally the best waiter I've encountered. They went above and beyond for us. I was considering another venue but am so happy I went with Veranda. Highly recommend if you are throwing an event big or small read more

Very nice restaurant good food good service good staff good music 5 star Number 1 in LA

We were guests at Veranda restaurant celebrating birthday party. We had a great time there thanks to Sheyla's incredible service. She was so cautious and extremely hospitable, making sure we're having a good time. Food was delicious and music was perfect. Overall, amazing experience. read more

Love this place. Great food- not all the traditional appetizers are being served which makes it a more interesting place. Great service. Plus great entertainment as well. read more

Restaurant was beautiful Service was great food was very disappointing for $160 you have to give amazing food so people would want to return Music was good , but one Style of music it would be nice to have more international music . I hope they will bring up the quality of the food a place like that deserves better . read more

We had a great time celebrating my son Davids birthday. Excellent customer service and hospitality provided by our server Armen. Exceptional presentation of tasty food, live music and great atmosphere is guaranteed. read more

I have been in Veranda restaurant on multiple events, it's time to review it. Amazing renovation! Very modern and cool! Entertainment, top notch! I have seen here all popular Armenian singers. That's awesome !!! Besides you can listen russian and english artists as well. Food: delicious barbecue, salads and appetizers are plenty and very delicious. Everything is well organized. Overall it's worth to spend a great time here whether it's a birthday party or a wedding. read more

I don't know where to start. What an awful experience.. I was invited to an invent today, mind you it's over 100 degrees, and let me tell you I wish I didn't attend. There was no AC or fans. And clearly the owner of this establishment doesn't care. There were 13 people sitting on each table and sharing food. Waiters not wearing masks nor keeping 6 feet distance. How is this even allowed by CDC or Health Department. Thank god I didn't even eat food from the table. The food looked like it was few days old. Avocado salad looked so black and old that just by looking at it you feel like throwing up. They had cold cuts on the table which looked like it's been sitting under the heat for past few hours. The jalapeño bacon looked as if it was made few days ago and it was just warmed up to fool the guest. Perhaps unexpected audit from CDC and health department wouldn't hurt at this point. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Please save your $$$ and go elsewhere where they accommodate and follow rules and regulations. If there was 0 stars I would most definitely rate as 0. read more

Amazing service, clean environment, delicious food, incredible atmosphere. Veranda has become my favorite place in Glendale to celebrate any occasions with friends and family. We came here to celebrate my Boyfriends Mothers Birthday, and they did not disappoint! They brought out an entire spread and we were all so impressed. Their meat was so tender and food was so fresh. Their menu is so unique. Each dish is finessed to perfection. We will definitely be coming back frequently! Thank you guys for the amazing service and remarkable food! read more

Was here a week ago for my sisters birthday. Horrible service from the staff. During the event my guests had requested drinks and had paid the waiter for them, but at the end I ended up paying for the drinks again on my bill. Also at the end the same waiter brought drinks without us requesting for them and said it was complimentary from him and again we were charged for them on our bill. Our cake was cut in small pieces and when asked where the rest of it was the same waiter said it was all finished. The point is not the cake or the drinks, its how your customers are treated. Have been to many restaurants and never treated this poorly. read more

Very nice atmosphere, food is good, but not the best kebobs in town, too much rice on the plate. All together i would put 4 stars

This place was amazing!! Excellent food and wonderful service!! Oh and don't get me started on the atmosphere!!

Nice place to enjoy live music, delicious food and good mixed drinks. Recommend to everyone!

I do not recommend this place for a family gathering at all! The food is mediocre & less than what is presented in the menue; the choice of music is very limited & loud! People smoke cigarettes right next to you; and the service is terrible!!! read more

if you want to get away from the norm and enjoy a good ambiance with amazinggg food and good music and even hookah, this is the place you need to visit, once you get here you automatically forget you're in glendale with how nicely the vibe is. the service was immaculate and the food was amazing. this is a great place for a nice dinner date and or even a group of friends for a birthday.
