Honestly, this fruit truck is one of the highlights of my week. They come by my apartment once a week, and I never miss it. The fruit is always super fresh, super ripe, and you get so much for what you pay. Like... it lowkey feels like a cheat code. I went here today hoping to get some antojitos that I have been craving and I remember coming to this truck long ago and it was delicious. Although today everything I got from here was not good. I got the diablito, a jugo verde, and esquires. The diablito was horrible it taste like Valentina or tapatio that it. I thought it would have some tamarindo but I guess it was very little. I went back and ask them if they can add some tamarindo and I would pay for it. I explain to them that it tasted like Valentina and tapatio only and he said they don't put any but that he would add more free of charge. Which I did appreciate but unfortunately I think the syrup they use is just bad and has little tamarindo flavor. The jugo verde I asked him what is it made out of because it taste like celery water with a hint of cucumber. He said it was coconut water, pina, cucumber celery and something else I forgot but I explain that it taste like just water with a hint of celery and cucumber he explained that they always made it like that. Finally the esquites that I was hoping nothing can go wrong they had way to much lime and salt and the mayo tasted off. As for the ambiance, it's a food truck: you walk up to place your order, pay at the window when you order and wait around on the sidewalk for your order. They have plenty of options and you can customize your order. They also have corn and fresh flavored waters (agua frescas). It is Santa Ana so take that into consideration. So today I went to this Fruit truck that I have been going there for years I placed an order and was specific about my wife's order, not asking for raisins on a plate which in fact, they did put raisins on it then I ordered a snow cone Flavored of tamarind and it completely tasted like shit. Went back to ask if they could replace it instead they went and tried the juice and said there was nothing completely wrong with it. The guy seemed to be bothered at the fact that I had gone back to ask if they could exchange The snow cone. I had literally just spent over $30.
