Love this place, I require light touch due to nerve impingements from years of manual labor and they do just the trick.

We were in Sacramento for the day shopping for snowboarding gear and making a trip to the Apple…read moreStore, and since we had some extra time, I searched for a nail salon that could squeeze me in for a regular manicure and pedicure. I'm so glad I found Blush Nail & Beauty Bar! First of all, this place is BEAUTIFUL. The salon is spacious, bright, clean and relaxing, and the pedicure chairs are gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. The music was also SO GOOD! They were playing what sounded like 2000s R&B, and it honestly added so much to the whole relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated that they had a good selection of regular nail polish. I don't get gel, and not once did anyone question my choice or try to pressure me into upgrading to gel. That alone was refreshing. The original color I picked was very sheer, and I asked if they could put white underneath it. They explained that doing that could make it look streaky and recommended choosing another color instead. I didn't end up with the exact color I originally wanted, but I appreciated them explaining why rather than doing something they didn't think would turn out well. I still really like the soft color I ended up with. I chose their least expensive manicure and pedicure package, and I was honestly surprised by how much was included. The pedicure was wonderful -- probably the best foot massage I've ever had. It was so relaxing I was practically falling asleep! It even included paraffin wax. My manicure technician was wonderful too. She gave a great massage and was very gentle and patient with my cuticles. I can get nervous when my cuticles are pushed back and trimmed, and I felt completely comfortable here. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, patient and welcoming. They also offer complimentary mimosas, wine and beer. I chose an ice water, and even that was delicious and refreshing. Overall, this was such a nice unexpected find during our Sacramento day. Beautiful salon, comfortable chairs, amazing music, great massages, friendly staff, regular polish without the gel pressure, and a genuinely relaxing experience. I would absolutely come here again the next time I'm in Sacramento

This was my second visit to Blush, and unfortunately, the experience was very different from my…read morefirst. I scheduled a visit a few days in advance for three people and four services and paid an $80 deposit ($20 per service) via Venmo. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. How was your experience with the water temperature? Did you have a better experience with a different technician? I'd genuinely be curious to know!

I came here about a month ago for my first prenatal massage! 10/10 would recommend! I had my service with Ruslan and if you're comfortable with a male massage therapist I highly recommend! I was able to do the belly cut out and loved it! They do a foot bath before your massage as well which I think all massage places should include! That one detail was so relaxing! The changing rooms are clean a little small but this isn't what you're here for! I've already scheduled a few more massages to get me through my last ten weeks of pregnancy and can't wait to try out some of their other amenities for a full spa day experience once I'm not pregnant!

First, my masseuse was 30 minutes late which already threw things off. The service itself is 25 minutes which I understood going in, but it still did not feel worth it for me. The massage did not feel thorough or targeted. When they say palm they literally mean just your hands, not even your arms, which I expected. Same with the feet. I left feeling like the areas that actually needed attention were not really addressed. The experience itself felt a bit awkward overall. My masseuse was sitting down during the massage and working in a shared space where there was foot traffic and people walking back and forth. Overall I can only speak for this specific service, but for the Palm and Sole massage I personally would not recommend it.

The spa was extremely clean, comfortable, and kept at the perfect temperature. Meya and Angie were absolutely wonderful! They paid special attention to our problem areas and maintained consistent pressure throughout the entire massage. I don't think I've ever had so many knots worked out in one session! I also loved all the little touches, especially the heated eye pads and warm towels at the beginning. I highly recommend adding the Tiger Balm as well. It made the entire experience even more relaxing! What made our visit extra special was the adorable little birthday setup they prepared for my husband. Such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated! To top it all off, they had hot tea and delicious snacks waiting for us after our massages. It's the little details that really make a difference! I visited Asha Urban Baths in Sacramento, CA [2417 27th St] on Tuesday, 09/08/26, around 1:45 PM…read more I came here 15 minutes early, so that I was able to check in, fill out the necessary paperwork (waiver), and get an introductory feel for this establishment. The front office receptionist was sweet and provided a warm disposition. Next, I got settled in by providing my driver's license to exchange for a lock box with a key. Finally, I was directed to the space that had lockers, bathrooms, rooms for changing clothes, etc. I simply put my belongings up first, since I was informed I would start with my massage first. I opted for this package in advance: 50-Min Massage & 2-hour Bathhouse utilization. This offering was priced at $140.00. My appointment was set for 2:00 PM sharp. I went to the Green Room, where all massage reservations were held. The massage therapist that I selected online for the booking was Michael. Michael was incredibly wonderful. His techniques put my entire body in a state of rejuvenation. I almost wanted to fall asleep because the entire massage was so comforting and met expectations. Next, I proceeded to the entire bathhouse. The entire ambiance was filled with a lot of peace and tranquility. I was going between the warm pools and doing the cold plunges, as well as stepping into the steam room. There were moments when I also relaxed on the lounge chairs. The key was also to stay hydrated. Water was readily available with plastic cups, and guests were able to bring their own water bottles inside, too. The two hours went by so fast, because of how much I truly enjoyed this self-care day to myself. I'm so grateful that I discovered this business. I can say that I am completely in love with the services and offerings provided at Asha Urban Baths. The overall value was well worth it. Undoubtedly, I will be returning whenever I need another day of pure relaxation. I will be spreading the word!

It included 45 minutes in the salt room, a 50 minute massage, and time in the bath house. The salt room was great! The attendant provided thorough instructions and made a serious effort to make sure I was properly set up. They have great loungers, eye masks, ear plugs, and weighted blankets. The salt room is not a solo experience. There were 3 other customers in the salt room with me and unfortunately they were distracting. They got up multiple times to get water and walk around, which you're allowed to do but it brought me out of my relaxed state. It was slightly annoying but it's still an experience I would try again. Also want to acknowledge it isn't the fault of the workers but it made me realize your experience at Asha does depend on how other customers treat it. The massage was absolutely fabulous! My massage was with Michael, I did communicate that it was my first massage EVER and he was kind enough to thoroughly explain what to should expect. Absolutely no complaints at all! The bathhouse was cool. It felt a bit crowded, which I expect since it was Mother's Day weekend. I did not try out the different pools because it was very busy! A lot of people hanging around the edges of the pools and I didn't want to have to constantly ask people to get out of my way. The locker room was also very busy which I did expect because as I mentioned it was Mother's Day weekend. I do plan to go back to Asha, hopefully during the week or a weekend that doesn't land on a holiday.

Booked us both an 80 min massage and then I was going to get a facial. I booked online, they called me back hours later around 4:55 to get a credit card on file, by the time I called back they were closed no biggie I call them back the next day. The phone does this weird ring thing and no one answers and the call drops. I try calling from my husbands phone, same thing. They call back sometime later apologizing and saying their WiFi was down so their phones were down. Not a big deal. Also their saltwater jacuzzi is out of service. Not ideal but not the end of the world bc we can use the hotel pool. Fast forward to a week later, I'm checking in early and getting the tour and find out that not only is the jacuzzi out of service but their sauna is too. Le sigh. I get my massage which was not relaxing (the masseuse was nice but moved really fast the whole time, except on my forearms) Hard to enjoy someone vigorously rubbing your back for 80 mins. No biggie, bc facials are always slow and relaxing and this next part will help calm me down. My esthetician wasn't ready when I got out of the massage (was still setting up) so I grab a snack, go to the restroom and tell my husband to enjoy the hotel pool. He pays and then goes to the pool. Facial time! I get in the chair and a scratchy hair protector was put on me and she proceeds to wash my face and put on a quick enzyme mask. That's the first time she steps out the room. I'm not thinking anything of it. She eventually comes back, wipes off the enzyme, and then proceeds to tell me that her heart rate is raising high and she needs to drop it, and I was like ok no worries. I was another min or two and then ask, hey should I get someone? And she says yes I'm having a medical emergency please grab my manager. So I step off the table naked (hoping no one is looking lol), grab my robe, see her lying on her back on the floor with legs elevated on her stool, then I run into the hall and say hey esthetician name is having a medical emergency and the manager and receptionist rush in. At this point I'm calling it and decide to cut my losses and go to the pool. Get the bikini on and am about to walk to the pool when the manager comes back in to ask if I want to continue the facial! I'm concerned this girl is going to pass out on me while I'm on the table, no thank you. She prob needs to go home! Why are you trying to have her work some more when she literally had a medical emergency, so I decline and ask again "is she actually ok?" Am told yes and then offered spf. At that point I go to the pool which was another horror story for another day. We return maybe 1 hr 45 mins later and are then told we will only get a partial refund bc the service was almost over, which I am not sure if this is accurate bc I was naked on a table with my eyes closed, not staring at my watch. At this point my flabbers are gasted. My bday was lame. I would expect a spa anywhere to offer a refund for a service that was not completed due to not fault of my own and if they really wanted to be nice, provide a credit to come back and actually experience a proper facial and jacuzzi. Or even offer to pay for a drink! Long story short, don't recommend coming here.
