I came inside today for a last minute pedicure and was very pleased that they were able to seat me right away. The place is very spacious, clean and has a nice touch of luxury to it. They assigned a very sweet young lady to me who made me feel comfortable. She hit the upsell pretty hard but I can handle it since all the nail salons do that these days. I wish they wouldn't because they showed me a menu to pick from and I carefully looked it over and picked a basic pedicure, if I picked it, why pressure me to spend extra money if I already made a decision? I stuck to my guns with the basic pedicure since I was in a rush. The whole experience was fine that's why I'm giving it three stars, but the quality of the pedicure was not so great. When I left and was out in the sunlight, I saw smudges on my skin on the edges which shouldn't happen and even some spacing where she didn't quite cover my entire nail with the polish. When I tell you my experience of getting my nails done for my birthday was ruined. It was absolutely ruined first I walked into the nail salon and they were not happy that I was coming in two hours before they closed and then they sat me down with this guy who was a beginner let me tell you he could not do nails. I sat down and the first thing he did was roll his eyes and be rude to me. That is unacceptable. He then proceeded to apply nail tips on me and I thought everything was going great until he shaped them. They were lopsided. They did not look good. It looked like my 10-year-old sister did them then when I asked him to fix the shape he proceeded to keep on making it pointed towards the wrong way, and I took the nail file out of his hand and did it myself and he acted surprised, but what it so surprising about me wanting my nails to be good. I would not recommend this salon. I tried it several years again and decided to give it another chance. After all the salon is absolutely beautiful with marble floors and water features. The lady that did my mani/pedi was in such a rush (reason unknown-it wasn't busy) she didn't use cuticle softener, my nails weren't shaped properly and overall quality of the service was disappointing. I also had my eyebrows waxed... she got my bangs stuck in the wax and ripped out a huge chunk of my hair along with the skin from my eyelid. I suppose the left eyebrow will catch-up with the right one after a few weeks since it's MUCH thinner. I will definitely NOT be going back. read more

Seems like a very nice place. This is my first visit. I got the basic pedicure gel polish #724 Jiggles. Nice service. Comes w usual Pedi soak, clip, and nail polish and sugar scrub for lower legs and feet, then jell after w light massage and warm towels for legs and toes. And the dryer for nails only took 60 secs to dry the polish! Wow fast compared to others. This place is horrible everyone charge different prices. They move so slow I got there at 2:50 for pedicure it took over a hour and I had to leave before they could finish ! Awful experience. The staff was very rude. I went early in the afternoon, they were not busy at all but yet the girl was rushing me to make my color selection and get started, she cut my finger twice. Then I was finally brave enough to say I didn't like the color and asked to change and she got mad. I went yesterday evening to get a pedicure. The lady out my shoes on and immediately I felt it smudge. They corrected it and ended up painting all my toenails. They say my under the fan, I never seen a UV light on just felt the fan. I sat for over a half an hour. A man that works there told me I was good to go, and I even asked if I could put my shoes back on. on the way home I could feel the polish smudging. When I got home my toenails were still smudging. Let me start by stating that if I had the option, I'd leave zero stars and deduct a few in the process. This business is an absolutely putrid establishment, so much of a putrid establishment that they aren't even listed on the Better Business Bureaus website, and that is clearly an huge indicator of just how utterly BAD this dump happens to be. The first photo depicts the final results after way too many chances at fixing the job properly. It took two separate people to properly conduct a job that routinely should have only required one. On Saturday Afternoon, I had went to another salon prior to visiting Venus. The other salon was booked up and in the process of closing for the day, so I decided to give Venus a try, I'm regretting that gen of a choice. Upon walking in, the employees were sitting down and I was inquiring about pricing and services. They shoved a book in my hand prior to escorting to a chair without answering any of my inquiries- Hug RED FLAG Moment here. Regardless of the signs, I still chose to give them the benefit of the doubt and grant them a chance, AGAIN Big Mistake. The first lady that worked on my toes was not only rude but clearly had no clue of how to do her job. While doing my toes, her and one of her co-workers were glaring at me, and laughing me while visibly speaking negatively about me in Vietnamese. I was involved in a high school student exchange program and caught a few words for which I was familiar with so I knew that the lady and her co-worker was verbally scrutinizing my skin color, foot appearance, and body weight. I was utterly appalled by the lack of professionalism and common human decency. If you are going to verbally smudge and scrutinize me, please exercise the NUTs & the Nerve to do so in English or a language for which I speak and can easily understand. Such practices are NOT only unprofessional but they're cowardly as well. I had requested a French Pedicure and she almost filled the whole nail in white polish contrary to what I was trying to ask of her. I had to request that another employee be brought in and properly finish the job this chick failed to do properly. She can talk trash about me in her native tongue but can't figure out how to get a simple French Peticure done right. When the other guy was finishing up with my pedicure, she had given an intimidating glare whilst coming over to grab a tool she needed from that area. Upon glaring me down, she muttered some obscenities in Vietnamese under her breath prior to walking away, real cute. After finishing my toes CORRECTLY; ALLAST, I was sent to the table where I sat to dry my toes. Upon my toes drying, I had approached whom appeared to be the owner to communicate my concerns. At this point, with everyone staring my way, he'd told me that they were simply "JOKING AROUND, ya know, HA HA HA HA, and not to take it seriously" you know because while the job seems NOT to be a serious thing to them, why not go all the way. I was extremely unsatisfied with their clear lack of occupational quality and professionalism. NOT ONLY did I waste $40 that I could have use to receive better services elsewhere but I feel as if I got bullied by the people whom I paid to fail me in the process. This establishment will never receive any business from me again and I WILL be making a HUGE COMPLAINT to the Attorney General, and the Federal Trade Commission about the way this business mistreated me. They clearly hold a prejudice towards people of color and body types. If you value the money in your pocket, do yourself a HUGE favor don't spend a red cent here, avoid this dump like you'd avoid a COVID-19 Zombie Town. You'd likely fare better doing your toes on your own for free at home or even better, have your 3 year daughter do them, you'll get far better results. read more

The last time that I was there I had Jessica, who cut my nails down, then filled & polished them. She massaged my hands and arms with lotion. It was pleasant! I asked what he was charging me for. $35 was what I expected for a fill. He charged me $3 to cut my nails shorter and previously it was always included in the service.
