I've been to Nails Elegance and few times over the past 6 months. What has stood out is the beautiful space that has such a luxurious appeal and the rewards program that gives a discount after spending a certain amount. The rewards program is didigital so you have to provide your phone number. I always get a pedicure because my thick cuticles and only nail beds on my hands don't allow any kind of nail covering/enhancement to last very long. They have a variety of pedicures to choose from ranging from $35 to over $60. The gel polish is $20 so if that's your go-to, be sure you factor that into your spend. This place is horrible. I asked for the picture that obviously looks better and ended up getting sausage looking French tips. The male owner did my nails. I sat in my car just looking at them making sure I wasn't tripping. I tried to ignore how bad it was because I hate conflict, but it was just too bad for me to let it slide. I went back in and ask the female owner (the wife) to give me a refund or if they can redo them. She waved her hand back and forth and told me to just come back tomorrow. Which I did, I came at 10am when they opened. The first thing she said was, "What you want now!?" I asked her to please just do a pink overlay (since I felt no one could really mess that up). The whole time she was rough with my hands and after she was done she literally waved me off. No apologies, no smiles, nothing. Just walked away from the station. I didn't really like this salon because I asked for something and the person who was doing my nails said something about it and I was like yeah i just want exactly like the picture.He ended up just giving me a white French tip which isn't what I wanted. My finger a few hours later started to hurt it might of been cause of the person I got my nails done with he wasn't very professional. Horrible costumer service, I waited for over 30 minutes when they werent busy, one of the employees sat me down and filled my bags up to soak my SNS off, about 30 minutes later I realized none of my polish was coming off and this women had put pure alcohol in the bags. Long story short my hands are now peeling because of the alcohol drying my hands out!! These employees do not care about their costumers, only about the money we're paying. This used to be my favorite place I came here consistently for 5 years, but ever since the remodel customer service has went down tremendously. They seem to care more about pushing service down your throat that you didn't ask for that making sure to keep quality customers . I stopped in for an acrylic full-in and gel polish. Although the salon was packed I was greeted immediately and told to wash my hands and seated at a nail table. The tech did an excellent job. She was very fast and didn't work on other clients while she worked with me. They offered every service you can imagine there. I will definitely go back for another fill-in and make sure I have time for a pedi. Also, the salon was decorated beautifully. For my service I was only charged $35 (plus what I tipped) which was totally reasonable. read more

Your basically paying for how nice the nail salon looks inside because the service is horrible! I got a pedicure and full set for the outrageous price of $122.00, which I wouldn't mind paying if the service was up to par! Upon arrival instead of telling me and my sister to come back for service because they were preparing to close they took our money and did a rush job. The guy who did my pedicure didn't even do all the steps for the pedicure, such as the cuticles around my toes, thank god I don't have crusty feet so they were able to get away with it. I got a French set(clear polish and white tips) the lines were uneven where as I had to inform the nail tech to clean them in which she got an attitude and began speaking mandarin. I was also bothered again because everything was rushed! the women to the left of me couldn't even enjoy her pedicure because she has one person on her feet and someone else on her nails, again rushing to get people out because " it was Saturday and they wanted to go home" per one of the nail techs. After the disastrous pedicure I then made my way to the nail station where I was informed I had to get gel for the design I wanted which would cost me $80.00 again just another money hungry ploy to get more out of me! I was told I could get the design without the diamonds for $55 and regular polish but the diamonds are what made the design so they basically told Me to get the full effect of what I want I had to pay $80 when I would get diamonds with regular polish often back home and didn't have any issues! I first told Them just do the design for $55 because I had a gut feeling they would ruin my nails but wanted the design so bad I gave in and got the gel! Worst mistake of my life! The first women couldn't even get the lines em down and got frustrated when I informed her if she didn't feel comfortable with the design to just do a regular French manicure because I wasn't about to pay 80 dollars for mediocre nails, in which she began speaking mandarin to all the employees. I eventually just requested some one else to do my nails and what I thought was a more experienced nail tech came over. She was no better, she as well couldn't get the lines clean and I had to keep requesting she clean the lines because everyone knows how messy white lines can look if not cleaned up again another frustrated nail tech because she didn't know how to do the design. I was so so upset but because I'm pregnant I didn't want to further upset myself. The charged me up and did a horrible job! I later realized that night she had cut the skin near my cuticle that bled. If I can stop someone from among the same mistake I did I beg u don't waste your time and money. You are literally paying for how nice the nail salon looks, I can't even say ambiance because the attitudes are very poor! I truly feel robbed! They need to take the money they spend on how the salon looks and pay for extra course because they clearly need help with sanitation, nail application/design and customer service! I ended up getting a nail infection from this Nail Salon. I ended up in emergency surgery and a 4 day stay in the hospital. They told me there was a chance I could lose my thumb. This was my go to nail salon. They do good work consistently. The nail technicians are skilled and take their time. The prices are ok. They also wear white shirts as part of their uniform. I really like this because they appear more professional than salons where people wear street clothes. The male nail technicians don't wear uniforms and I don't like that they don't have to. Last time i came in with a broken nail that needed to be repaired. I had an issue with the technician getting my nail shape right. It ended up looking larger than my other nails as she acted as if she couldnt do anything about it. This place isn't perfect and there is always a flaw. My brows usually look great when I get them waxed here. The inside is really nice. They have a good selection of nail and gel nail Polish. I have since found a better nail salon in Greensboro but if I ever need something like a polish change or fill in then i would def return. read more

I took a chance with this place. I called and asked if they do liquid gels. They do. The woman on the phone is the owner, her name is Lucy. She told me to ask for her. When I arrived I got a pedicure first. The chairs are fabulous. The pedicures range from $25-50. I just got a $25 one and it was still very good. After my pedicure Lucy was ready for me. My first visit to this salon was the best. My nails looked great and stayed that way. I decided to reduce to a more active length and this time the tech put approx 1/3 as much sns on my nails. That evening I noticed so many flaws, including acrylic stuck on my cuticles, bumps, and sides where there was no color. I returned to have them fixed and again the tech was rushing just like when she applied them originally. Within a few days I noticed the color coming off the sides of all nails on the same nail. They don't want to back fill ur nails and insist on completely new set. It took almost 2 hrs to get my first set off. I feel the manager said something to the tech and thus it wasnt a good job. I also noticed the second time she never completely cleaned my nails on top or underneath. I was picking out old pieces of color and nails fir a week. I also believe that not allowing my nails to dry out completely before throwing more stuff on them ws a mistake. I had acrylics for a very ling time in Asheville NC and never once had this problem. I removed them myself with an acetone soak. The nails are brittle and have marks where the false nails were. My granddaughter, had her nails done twice at the same salon by 2 different techs and no problem. Absolutely no. Like many others here, I gave it only one star because I had to. First of all, they pay people for reviews. They offer a five percent discount if you leave a positive review in the salon. This place is pretty bad. The staff was absolutely unfriendly. To begin with we entered the salon and they didn't even make eye contact or say hi. I asked for UV nail tips. An older gentleman said okay and to have a seat. They made me wait for an hour. There were two people in front of me. One had an actual appointment and she was still waiting. Then they sat me in the nail tech's chair like they were going to start working on me, only to make me wait another 1/2 hour. He did a rush job. The tips he put on were already lifting off my nail bed when I got home. Unfortunately it was already closing time when I noticed it and they are closed on Sundays. To be honest, I don't even want to go back to see them. I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

My manicurist removed my old gel nail polish by wrapping my fingers with acetone and foil while she gave a pedicure. She was very careful with my cuticles on hands and feet; she got the job done well and was not too harsh. My new polish went on smooth and clean unlike some other nearby nail places. They were very busy but didn't rush the job. I think other people know the truth about this place and come back-judging by the traffic. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was visiting family from Atlanta, GA! And they spoke highly of this place... but when I got there I wasnt greeted and I just needed a nail repair they were rude and insisted that they didn't have my color so I found my color and the guy got up from the station and I sat there for another 15 minutes before another lady came back and assisted me further, a 10 minute visit turned into 45 minutes. Been coming to the same spot to get my eyebrows, toes, and nails done for a while and never had any issues until recently! I stopped get my nails and toes done because of the rush in service and lack of quality! The worker who said her name was "Tina" rushed me eyebrows and completed f***ed up my left one! I have very nice natural eyebrows so I'm already picky about who works on them! Idc how many people you got on a Saturday morning, never rush anyone work! Money is money and if I'm waiting on the service I'm expecting to get the same service I been getting! Very very disappointed and probably will not be returning! I will never go back to this nail salon. I had to have artificial nails removed and a manicure. Rather than soaking in acetone, my nails were cut extremely short (rather than cutting them to where they had grown) and then a file was used to pry under the nail and rip them off. Not only was this painful and I told the nail person that it was tender but it also ruined my nail bed. When another nail person came to give the manicure, I had to tell her that my nails were jagged on the edges and that the nails had to be rounded to avoid sharp edges. The second nail person was fine with fulfilling my requests. While there, another woman was extremely upset with her nails and even called the Better Business Bureau while in the salon. Next time if I can't go to my nail salon in High Point, I will go to Sally's Beauty Supply and buy some 100% acetone to spare myself the pain of having them removed at this place. read more
