We ordered food from Venus again through Uber Eats. I ordered everything without onions and sauces on the side. They followed my request exactly and the food was excellent. The shawarma bowls were fresh with chicken, rice, pickles, and garlic sauce. I ordered 2 sides of feta cheese to add to it as well. The fatoosh salad was just okay. I'm used to them having herbs in them that make the dish more unique, but this one was more like a Greek salad with fried pita chips in it. Great place to go for a quick meal. Maybe not 100% authentic tasting, but still ery good, and I love their garlic sauce. I ordered a 16-oz bottle of it for 5.99.

Second time here. The interior is 3 steps below plain and not very welcoming. You place your order at the counter and they bring your order to your table. The food is really tasty especially their garlic sauce which you can purchase. The portions are large and made to order. Our orders came out quickly which they should since we were the only patrons. The prices are probably between 10 and 20% too high for the ambiance of this restaurant.

Venus Mediterranean is a terrific place for casual inexpensive and delicious dining. The addiction to their garlic sauce is real, people! I recently took some friends for their first taste of shawarma and other treats and they are certainly hooked too now. My favorite thing is Chicken Shawarma. I enjoy it both in the pita and on rice. The rice really soaks up the sauce and as you can tell I'm all about that. My DH recently had an amazing falafel dinner there that he raved about too. The owner was very generous and kind and brought us out some dips to try and helped set up tables for our group. Delicious! Greek fries are a must at the Erie county Fair and other food truck venues. Thank you so much for a great experience, a nice atmosphere and a great product.

Venus is certainly a funky college student hangout but it's proximity to the movie theater makes it a convenient place to grab a bite before a show. The service was super friendly despite the fact I did not pre-order online; I stopped in on a whim. I had a chicken shawarma which was well made - nicely grilled in the flatbread and well spiced. If I had more time before I would have studied the menu a bit more to choose some salad or accompaniment to my sandwich. I really enjoyed the decor and the culturally appropriate music videos playing in the dining area. I will make a plan to stop here when I next go to the movies.

I'm at a loss for words -- I've somehow forgotten to give my favorite shawarma spot a rave review! I first tried Venus at the Erie County Fair during my high school days. I'd never had shawarma (or Mediterranean cuisine that *wasn't* Greek food) before, and it absolutely blew my mind. So many great flavors jam-packed into a neat little wrap. To this day when I'm craving chicken shawarma, there's no other restaurant that'll do. They offer a variety of shawarma wraps and plates -- and they recently added souvlaki bowls to their lineup, too. No matter what you order, you'll feel full and satisfied. Their garlic sauce is unparalleled too, I haven't found a better option in the area. Even better, Venus is very affordable and I've never had an issue when ordering their food for delivery or pickup. If you're wanting to try something flavorful and unexpected, I highly recommend Venus. Who knew chicken, garlic sauce, and pickles could complement each other so perfectly?

I'm not sure why I haven't ordered from here sooner. On Uber Eats they do BOGO Shawarma, I've never had shawarma, but I thought, I like Rice, I like Chicken and there was an option to add EXTRA PICKLES, I was sold! BOGO Deal aside, this was so good, the garlic sauce- delicious, the only weird thing is their hot sauce- not what you may expect, to me- it tasted dry, if that makes sense? But, OVERALL, I'm getting this AGAIN, and AGAIN and AGAIN.

Venus has quickly become of my go to takeout spots. It's quick, easy, and delicious. On my most recent order I got one of the new souvlaki platters. The best of both worlds combining salad and rice bowl. Their chicken is well seasoned and the garlic sauce is fire. I've had the falafel and Greek fries in the past and both were great.

I was surprised to see this place only had 3 stars. My sister wanted Greek take out so we decided to try this place and I think the food is great. The chicken Greek salad was filled with ingredients and included both dressing and white halal sauce. She was able to buy extra bags of pita bread (Arabic style) and she even got a squeeze tub container of the white sauce which is awesome!! Super fast and easy to be able to order take out through the yelp app!

Isn't it a violation of Phase 1 #COVID19 mandates for food service employees to be preparing food and walking around without a mask? If so, folks at VENUS (3500 Main Street, Buffalo, 14226) seemed to have missed the memo. We went to pick up the food we'd ordered via GRUB HUB. After my guy called them out on it, the guy got UNJUSTIFIABLY indignant. Instead of apologizing, he complained about how many hours a day he's in there, wearing the mask, said he wears it while cooking [**we watched him cooking without it for TWO MINUTES**] & asked if we just wanted to cancel the order. The best part of it was when he quickly came up with #socialdistancing guidelines. First, he said he couldn't have people behind the counter. Neither of us were. My guy was leaning up against the sign that said "Do not pass," but was still able to see him from that vantage point. Then he said we couldn't wait for the food in the store and had to wait for the notification from GRUB HUB saying the food was ready. We left, and watched from the window as he lowered his mask and returned to cooking. When my guy went back in to pick up the order, the guy said "Your order comes with a drink. Take the drink & never come back." I don't think he'll have to worry about that. It's a pity too. I loved their chicken fingers. When I posted this review on Facebook, the guy replied to it, accusing me of trying to exploit the fact that we had to wait a minute or two for our food to get free/discounted food. The wait wasn't the problem. Life is too short to be in a rush. What we SAW during those two minutes was the problem. In any case, they say that now we're going to be banned from ordering from them via Grub Hub, and we won't be allowed to enter the restaurant. I think we'll manage.

I had the lamb shawarma, and because it was after 2pm, I could no longer order it a la carte. However, this was a blessing as the combo gave me a chance to try more of their food, and everything was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. There are posted signs at the register that a surcharge of 3.5% is added unless you're paying cash. I'm looking forward to returning with my family for their lentil soup, fattoush salad, babaganoush, and hummus. Chilled beverages and tea for purchase; no alcohol allowed on the premises. Very family friendly.

Lots of little places offering what Starbucks offers (premade offerings). The GPS came up with Mythos. It wasn't far from where we were. You walk in and immediately smell breakfast cooking. We were seated at a booth and ordered a couple cups of coffee. The menu is pretty extensive. She got eggs benedict with toast and hashbrowns. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast special. It's Thursday morning so not a people in the restaurant. The food is out pretty quick. Coffee gets refilled without having to ask.
