I called back and asked for a pedriac speculum, and they said that they carried all sizes but the doctor chooses what size you need. I know my body- and i need the smallest speculum available. Plus to boot, there's no consult appointment before the exam, which is bad because i want to discuss with the doctor my options, as well as my opinions, and to see if i trust this doctor. i also had tons of bad experiences with prior gynocologists so, trust is important. I'll add more if i end up making the appointment- but fair warning- if you only want specific things maybe it's not for you!

They said that the doctor chooses what size is necessary. I know my body, I need the smallest speculum available with plenty of lube, and a good bedside manner. There is also no consult appointment before the exam, this can be important to some, so that they know that it is a safe space, and to discuss options, as well as form a trust with doctors. Had tons of bad experiences at prior gynocologists, so it is important to me that i trust this doctor. Highly don't recommend seeing this practice. You think if it says medispa, that it would help one relax and be a safe space, but guess not!

Was easy to find parking, and easy walk to the office. Checked in, and pleasant clerk that checked me in. Didn't wait long at all, and went in the office and to the back straightaway. Nurse was pleasant- again told me to take off my socks, but i kept them on because I can be easily cold. Took off all my clothes except my underwear, and socks. Was given a paper gown, which may not be the greatest as far as comfort, but this visit i felt it was a little more comfortable. Exam was quick, doctor was pleasant, and only moved the gown of the parts she examined. For example, she looked at my chest, covered one side, and uncovered the other, and tucking it in the gown after was done. Kudos for respecting modesty here, and what the patient wants to do. for example, i have vitago, and can get a prescription for it, but didn't want it because I have a weird shower routine sometimes. Dr. Amy Adams respected my decision on that, and of course respected my modesty. i got dressed, made an appointment for next year, Then went on my merry way. Oh and side note: I was away and kept getting referral messages from this office, and well 1, my doctor was slow(not to mention seemed to not want to write me a referral at first) , and sent the referral very last minute, and 2, they did mess up and say they needed a referal after they recieved it. However, in the message they did apologize, and the insurance was checked at check in.

My insurance charges me $80 for said injections. 7 appointments later and it was finally decided that these injections don't work and there is nothing the practice can do but refer me out.
