The space at this estate and the grounds are beautiful and the upkeep is impeccable. I had never been here before but it is definitely picture worthy. I also hear it's a popular spot for weddings and all kind of events. You have to preregister and pay a $5 fee to attend Sunday classes. Class is about an hour and although outdoors still in a covered space. Bring your mats and water to stay hydrated. The outdoor space has a lovely view with the bay next to you. The nice breeze helps with this Miami weather. The instructor is super nice. Whether your an expert or a beginner (like me) she goes around and helps to make sure your posture and positioning is correct so that you don't hurt yourself. Her voice also makes the whole experience soothing. After just one class I'm hooked. It's the perfect way to end the weekend and have a happy Sunday funday. Join me!

It's located in a small strip mall just under the turnpike with ample and close parking. Bobby the owner was very friendly, warm and accommodating to me and my son. They begin the classes very close to the exact time and finish right on the dot. We began with Olga who was just great! She explains all the steps in detail, does a lot of repeats and watches to see how you progress. She was the perfect beginner instructor for us and we enjoyed her very much. After a few lessons with Olga, we began to learn coupled combinations that Bobby always watched for technique to move us into the group dancing. The group classes are run very well. Lots of mirrors and loud call-outs so you can keep up in the warm-up. Then they have several instructors including Bobby that teach and monitor all the dancers for the entire class. If you are interested in learning some basic salsa dancing or you want to get advanced lessons in New York style salsa, I would highly recommend A PARTY HALL. They are excellent in the beginner classes as well as challenging you to perform in the couple group dancing. I did notice the regular pricing and would still choose them without a groupon discount.

Bobby was attentive, and always put in more time so we got well over what we actually paid for. My boyfriend and sister had never danced before and they took the group classes with me. We all can hold our own now thanks to the lessons we had here. We not only learned but we extended our family and embraced the world of salsa. Thank you, Bobby and everyone at A Party Hall that made this a memorable experience! I look forward tot he next level of classes. I'm ready!

My wife and I used South Florida Events for our wedding, and the buffet style food was excellent,…read morehowever, we do not recommend the catering service for a wedding for a few reasons. When we initially met with the caterer 7 months before our wedding, we had told them that we estimated 130 guests, but it would probably be less. They told us that wouldn't be an issue and to let them know a month out a final guest count. However, a month out from our wedding, they were trying to charge us for a full 130 when we had told them that our guest count was 105 (including the bride & groom). Our wedding planner was able to convince them to charge us for only 115 people, so we ended up inviting another 4 guests since we were paying for the food. So we had 109 guests and were paying for 115. We couldn't believe it and were completely disappointed to later find out that some of the food ran out, specifically the mahi mahi entree, when we had paid for 6 more people than we ended up having in attendance. Those who did not get to eat mahi were given more of the appetizers to compensate. Per our contract we had understood that we paid for more than the amount of actual guests and we can't understand why a main entree had run out before two full tables had been served. The caterer was not only late to the venue for initial set up, but was also very late to serve the food, after it had been blessed and a thank you speech from the father of the bride, to let our guests eat. This lead to many of our guests questioning both my wife and myself when we would actually have dinner. The food was good, but due to the service, we would not recommend this company for your catering needs ever.

Our guests (around 70) were truly impressed with all of the food, and there was more than enough for everyone. We had cocktail hour with a cheese platter with fruit, and a crudités platter with fresh vegetables. For the main course, we had chicken Marsala, eggplant parmigiana, baked ziti, and for our youngest guests, buttered bow tie noodles. Although, I saw those on most of the adult plates too. We also had a carved turkey breast with cranberry relish, and some really great breads. They also provided the birthday cake which was so moist and delicious that our guests thought it had to have been from a regular bakery. Every step was handled with professionalism and a friendly smile. Even when I thought we were going to have too many people for the room, they figured out how to make it work, and it did.
