I always come here during Wednesdays for writers' lab and poetry workshop with Miami Poetry Club. I always like the ambience and the vibe of the space. I like how mismatched their furniture is, it just gives a lot of personality. There are a lot of spaces and rooms to work in. They also have a kitchen where you can use their kitchen stuff. At night, it really is hard to find the door, but the address number should tell you if you're going in the right place. read more

Cool coworking and event space. Came here for an event at night, there's street parking near by and space for about 100. It is right near great wynwood spots like Zak the Baker and Joeys so it's convenient to run out to grab a bite. read more

This is one of my favorite places in Miami! This co-working space is filled to the brim with bright and talented individuals. If you are in a tech business or a start-up company and looking for a space to work, you will feel more than welcome at The LAB. The members are very nice and helpful people and are usually willing to share some advice. The LAB also holds many events at this space for tech, start-ups and makers. While it can get a little noisy, they always attract a great crowd and provide an abundance of seating and usually some refreshments. read more

I've been working out of the LAB for about nine months now, and I can not imagine working any where else! The LAB is filled with diverse people, and amazing staff members that are always there to greet you with a bright smile every morning! My favorite part of working here is how they always strive to keep their members involved with the Wynwood community by doing LAB happy hours; this helps break the ice and meet others who work at The LAB whom you've may never had the opportunity to interact with previously. Great space in Miami for co-working. They have a nice layout! The main room is wide and open (long wooden tables, tall ceilings). They have two private rooms near the back with glass doors and a table in each. There's a small kitchen in the back. There are a few private offices along the side with different startups. The front room has a mini-bar and a nice mix of tables with a couch. It's located very close to the action in Wynwood and allow members 24/7 access. I would often get a burrito from Coyo before working through the night, then hail an Uber to my Airbnb. The community is also great. They have events often, and I met the CEO of TradeKing (Fintech Exit) while discussing some of the new innovation happening in Miami for South Florida Funding and Code For America initiatives with members around the area. There are not a lot of coworking spaces in Miami. Hell, the concept of coworking is relatively new period. "Isn't it just like an office rental you say?" Kind of. Sure, you have the standard desk rental, but coworking spaces also have shared desk space, good for travelers that need a place to duck in and do some work, as well as maybe work-related events. It's mostly the camaraderie of people working on different things under a shared roof rather than working in your spare bedroom talking to your best friends, Potted Plant and Playstation 3. Up until now there's only really been two major players: Buro and MiamiShared. Nestled in the Wynwood Building next to a bunch of art studios is the LAB Miami space. Run by a bunch of scrappy passionate folks, the setting is a little more informal and the people here seem to be younger and more into the concept of networking. They also have tech based classes here on a regular basis. I like their drive behind starting the space up and it reminds me a lot of the co-working spaces I've seen back in San Francisco, like The Hub or Citizen Space. As far as the space itself: it's a little small and the room acoustics is echoey, so if I'm on a phone call I go into the hallway. But for me, the pros outweigh the cons and this is now the place I go to co-work, and I'm looking forward to seeing these guys become larger and more successful. read more

The LAB Miami is located in Wynwood. Definitely has that Wynwood feel, inside and out. The LAB is a co-working space used by start ups, teams and even someone looking for a quiet and clean space to work. The location is modern looking on the inside. There are private rooms as well as more open work spaces with plenty of tables and even couches. I've been coming to The LAB for the past 3 weeks as part of a workshop for GDI and everyone there has been welcoming. During the workshops, it sometimes gets a little loud since there are big groups gathering there at times. But overall, it's a nice addition to Wynwood and a nice open space for creative minds. I have been working out of the LAB for just over a year now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the space and the staff. I have found other co-working spaces in the area to be cold and not particularly collaborative which is not the case with LAB Miami at all. Its such a wonderful community of individuals with diverse backgrounds, many of whom I have collaborated with professionally as well as forged close friendships with. The staff (and the dogs) makes this space so special and unique and I wouldn't want to work anywhere else! read more

I've been coming to the LAB every day for just over two months when I started as a student at Wyncode Academy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from day one. Since then I've been present to hear and see interactions with people coming in for a tour, or with current members of the LAB and that level of customer service has never changed. Members have 24 hour access which has been very helpful when trying to push through to finish a project. The staff keeps the kitchen stocked and clean and the cleaning staff keeps the bathrooms and rest of the space clean as well. There are numerous events at the LAB which I believe as a member, you are welcome to attend any that you are interested in. If you're a fan of energy drinks, and sick of coffee, there's an endless supply of DarkDog Organic to keep you fueled. read more

If you have not been to The LAB, it is something to behold. The way the places works is that businesses/start-ups rent a table in the place and then have free reign of the facility, which encourages interaction and collaboration of business. For a business, the space is wonderful because it creates an eclectic amalgamation of niches that cater to different working styles and environments. For example, there are traditional desk spaces, but there is also an outdoor space and couches. For businesses that are interested in diverse teams and catering to diverse working styles to maximize productivity and creativity, The LAB Miami establishes a bar. read more

I started working out of the lab last summer with my current company and we couldn't have picked a better environment. The lab has become my second home and I'm so grateful for all of the people I've met here. The staff are truly amazing and some of the friendliest and funniest people in Wynwood. I've been to LAB Miami for events like Mini Maker Faire and art gallery showings. Most recently I attended for a Girl Develop It Hackathon and had a great time. It's no doubt the space is in a great location. They seem to always change the interior decor which is fun. It's a great place to come for an event - cool location in Wynwood, nice & welcoming space. It's ok to work on regular basis - it has all you would need, but nothing special. My team has been there for a year, although we don't meet not every day. There is always sufficient amount of space to work around the big room if you don't have your desk/office space, but the chars are only marginally comfortable, even the better once that come with dedicated desks... The internet has been spotty, but got a lot better since mid 2016. The overall feel of the place lost some of it's upbeat, startup coolness with a switch in management... Eg. cool back bathrooms became boring white... The 24/7 access is a nice to have. The networking doesn't seem to be as it used to - people stay more to themselves more than a year ago, but everybody can have a different experience. It's a dog friendly place - cool if you love dogs and for the most part harmless... Dogs are quiet and well behaved. It does get a bit much at times when you have 6-7 dogs around... There is a fairly new snack machine (decent selection) but coffee remains disgusting (Don Pablo brand) despite many many requests from many many people, so my team of picky coffee drinkers was buying coffee every day anyway, which can add up! Parking is generally sufficient in a back lot if you come early - otherwise $10/day on a street. Front desk is helpful and nice - always somebody there. Our overall experience was average, across the team. read more

We were on the hunt for some dedicated desks or office space near the Edgewater area and so we explored a number of options. After checking out different co working spaces in Brickell, Midtown, Wynnwood and Downtown we decided to try out the lab first. After working a week out of the Lab we were totally sold! The creative energy of working out of Wynnwood, the awesome staff and culture all made it a great fit for our company. And free parking is included!!! This is a pretty big deal in Miami now days. You will get killed on parking at almost any co-working space in Miami you choose. When you include the parking cost in the price of rent you will really appreciate the the free parking the Lab provides. read more

After working in LABmiami for a couple months now, I realize that 'the lab' is the type of spaces we need in Miami. Booming with youthfulness and creativity, LABmiami is the perfect replication of New York City and Bay Area Incubators down here in Sunny South Florida. For those who do not know what an incubator space is, in lamen's terms it is an office space created to host both professionals looking for a private office space for their businesses and/or individuals wanting to be surrounded by other professionals in a co-working environment to maximize their spectrum of creativity. However, LABmiami is more than that. The LAB was created by people who appreciate love and art and it's involvement in business (LAB stands for love, art, and business) and that is why they provide gallery space for emerging artists, adding to the image of "hipness" if you may. The tenants are young, aspiring, individuals and are great people to be around. Once they expand into a larger space, the lab will become a great place to work that will hopefully be launching pad for many great companies and entrepreneurs to come. read more

After working here for the past two weeks, I have to say this is the best coworking space I have encountered. There is a vibrant energy to the space and people are friendly and creative. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The inside is very nice and gives me multiple options to work, along with reservable conference rooms. There are many amenities, and the cold brew on tap is a huge plus. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Miami to come by and try out the Lab as a space to work! read more

I love The Lab. I run my video production company 66 Films from there. When I'm not shooting or in post production I go there to tend to other aspects of my business. it's great to sit in the living room and catch up on emails or write a script in a laid back, friendly space.
