The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works like a champ (not my experience at every hotel in Southwest Florida). My king room had a comfy chair, desk, kitchenette with dinette, and bathroom with plenty of counter space for all my toiletries. The overall feel of the hotel had much more character than similarly priced chain hotels. The service was wonderful for the majority of my stay. On my final morning, they wouldn't let my delivery driver up with my food (they called my room but my phone wasn't working right--and I didn't expect that since every other morning they had let up my delivery with no call or fuss). When I called down to see if someone from the hotel could deliver it as I wasn't yet dressed, they said no they didn't have the staff (fair). But, beyond that inconvenient blip--the rest of the trip was lovely. Get to it!

At no time did we have to ask for food or clean up after ourselves. There were three large glass containers of drinks which they kept filled and chilled for us to grab drinks. They cut the three-tier cake once everyone was done eating the Hors d Oeuvres. The cake was superb in every way. The floral arrangements were stunning to the point that it pained me to toss my bouquet. I ended up taking my bouquet home and received numerous compliments at the airport. During our conversations with Steven we expressed our interest in having a travel themed wedding and gave him a few ideas of what we were thinking about. Steven kept some of his decor ideas as a surprise and when we walked into the reception venue we were amazed. Our friends and family have been raving about the decorations in the reception venue and all of the floral arrangements up to this point. A week before the wedding we came across a quote that we had seen once before. We then floated the idea out to Steven if he could use it during our farewell brunch. He was able to creatively tie the quote into our wedding theme perfectly on such short notice. Steven has more than exceeded our expectations. If ur here for a conference or meeting then follow the instructions u were given :-) or ask the receptionists if u need help--they generally know what's going on & are happy to help u. Free coffee, assorted teas & fresh fruit infused ice water in the reception area. If there's no coffee/hot water left no worries, there's a 2nd station on the 2nd floor. Plenty of comfortable couches in the waiting area with side & coffee tables. There r also tables with chairs on side areas. There's a magazine rack on the wall. The bins that look like pretty garbage bins by the back & side door r NOT garbage bins--they have umbrellas in them! :) Check out the framed paper on the mirror by the coffee-- it's like a "quote of the day". It might be actually but I only come once a week so can't promise that. Can attest it usually makes me smile & sometimes even LOL. If you r coming in after hours when the front desk is closed then park in the back bc that's where the intercom is & you'll need to dial the extension of the person ur meeting & they'll buzz u in. If u 4got their extension use the directory on the intercom box to find it (it's in alphabetical order).
