    stupid!

Bad experience, strange purse rules. Never had issues like this before in any other museums all over the world. Rude security! Couldn't go inside w. my purse, not a big one. They did that to other ladies. I asked them to hold it and they wouldn't. They gave a shopping bag for wallet, phones, my husband's pills I need to keep w. us all the time! I wore a backpack (small) in Louvre. Never experienced something like this before and I surely can't leave my purse in the car! Decent art, good exhibitis from National Portrait Gallery in London, Forida contemporary- original artists. They have a few Magritte on view and a nice permanent collection, Chihuly included. Check out the building across! $10 admission, they close early at 4 pm. Nice art but stupid rules spoiled my experience!

A Wonderful Museum . a must visit ! housing some of the most talented artists .. The Chihuly pieces are monumental !! i visit every few months and they keep updating and upgrading. Most professional and knowledgeable staff . keep up the great work !

First time at this place and I expected a little more than what the website indicated. Upon arrival I was told my purse was too big. so unfortunately I had to lock it on the trunk of my car. I wasn't thrilled about that especially because I was holding my husband's medication but went along with the rules. The museum itself was about 3 floors...lots of photos, wall work, etc. It was a clean facility with good exhibitions but didn't understand the purse rule. If they were afraid we were going to steal something and put it in our purse there really wasn't anything to take since I mentioned most everything was wall art. The gift shop was tiny so chances of anyone taking anything was slim to none. I did read on the website that they would check inside bags which I was more than happy to let the workers do but they didn't even do that. They do have the philharmonic playing at another building, perhaps when they have a lot more people for concerts they should enforce the purse rule? In the museum we barely had 5 people! A little disappointed about that rule.

A beautiful complex that houses a theater and The Baker Museum. We are new to the area and spent the evening visiting The Baker Museum. The museum is beautiful with 4 floors of exhibits, a cute little food cafe with outdoor seating and the obligatory gift shop. The Yankee exhibit was wonderful, even for this NY Mets fan! I am sure we will return for future exhibits, meanwhile I will be visiting the theater for a production this weekend!

Just visited to see Chihuly on 3rd floor, selections, from permanent collection on 2, Rodin sculptures on 1, and contemporary women artists in galleries in Hayes Hall. All were worth seeing. If you read my review from 2016, I argued that the Baker needed a major expansion for more gallery space. Well, Irma hit (9/17) and caused some damage and the Baker had a renovation. There are new special areas on the south side of the museum (farthest from parking and entrance "gate") on all three floors (3rd floor open terrace). The only problem is that all these additional spaces are not spaces for viewing fine art. They are "flexible" spaces for lectures, small concerts, and most notably events like wedding receptions and birthday parties for millionaires. I am certain that this museum will make a lot of money renting out these venues in coming years. I am just disappointed that the Baker has not become better as an ART MUSEUM.

Love love this art museum. Just saw the latest installment and it was beautifully curated.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this well-run hotel on three seperate occasions this year, and each of those trips were not under the best of circumstances. My mother in-law's health had declined and she passed away last month, so my husband and I were in Naples to handle her funeral arrangements and take care of her belongings. Needless to say, it was a very difficult and stressful time for us, and Tracy made our stay at the Compass Margaritville seamless and worry-free, at a time when we needed it the most. She went above and beyond to personally reach out to me before our last trip to notify me that there would be construction in the particular room we like to stay in. Knowing how much we prefer a room in a quiet location in the hotel, she made special arrangements to upgrade our room and worked on getting us the best rates possible. When we needed to extend our trip, she personally helped us with that as well. Every step of the way, Tracy was beyond helpfyl, personable, compassionate, and professional. I am in my early 50s and I have traveled and stayed at hotels all over the world, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced the level of customer service that Tracy provided. It was truly impressive and I could not be more thankful or appreciative for all that she did for us. I hope that my message can be passed along to Tracy's manager or whomever is upper management for the Compass Margaritville hotel chain. We plan to return to Naples in the near future, and when we do, we will definitely be staying at the Compass Margaritville again. That is all because of Tracy and how wonderful she is. Thank you so much, Tracy! You truly are the best!

This event was an anniversary party with around 90 people in attendance. The presentation on the main table was amazing. It looked like a large Charcuterie Board that filled the entire table and some of it had 2 levels, it was just beautiful. There was a little bit of something for everyone on that table to eat and all I had was very good. The Servers were walking around with plates of Hors d Oeuvres which were amazing. I especially loved the Bacon wrapped Shrimp which were done to perfection. The Chicken Teriyaki was just as good. I like the Shrimp so much I had to ask for the recipe. I could have eaten a dozen of them easily. The servers were constantly walking around asking if they could give you more or if you had any trash to get rid of. At no time did we have to ask for food or clean up after ourselves. There were three large glass containers of drinks which they kept filled and chilled for us to grab drinks. They cut the three-tier cake once everyone was done eating the Hors d Oeuvres. The cake was superb in every way. This function from an attendee's point of view was perfection in every way these people were a first-class act. I must give them a 5 out of 5-star rating. If you have a function or need a cater look no further, they are your best choice. Follow me on FB for more reviews. Gulf Coast Terry

As soon as we spoke with him our decision was made and meeting him in person before the wedding just solidified it. He is truly a great individual, extremely professional and his creativity speaks for itself. We also decided to use him as our day of coordinator and also to help decorate the reception venue, order our favors, props for the beach ceremony, etc. Thanks to Steven's help and creativity our wedding turned out absolutely awesome! The floral arrangements were stunning to the point that it pained me to toss my bouquet. I ended up taking my bouquet home and received numerous compliments at the airport. During our conversations with Steven we expressed our interest in having a travel themed wedding and gave him a few ideas of what we were thinking about. Steven kept some of his decor ideas as a surprise and when we walked into the reception venue we were amazed. Our friends and family have been raving about the decorations in the reception venue and all of the floral arrangements up to this point. A week before the wedding we came across a quote that we had seen once before. We then floated the idea out to Steven if he could use it during our farewell brunch. He was able to creatively tie the quote into our wedding theme perfectly on such short notice. Steven has more than exceeded our expectations. He helped to orchestrate a wedding that has created memories that will last a lifetime for us. Steven helped to make our wedding planning process fairly stress free with an amazing outcome. We can not recommend him highly enough.
