I explained that drove clear out from Piru, was unaware of the rule because they were recommended at the sight and my need was an emergency. The girl at the desk was completely un-phased and could care less about my situation and the fact it was almost a 3 hour turn around. I can understand the policy because of the minimum amount needed to make it worth their while, but for a new customer unaware that drove over an hour to remedy an emergency, this is not acceptable and shows a level of arrogance and professionalism hard to find at even the worst of businesses. Fortunately, I work for an outfit that can effect their customer base, based on our ability to control where materials come from for use on our properties. Very poor business practice and zero help!

Employee informs me that there's a restocking fee. I looked at the guy and said do you want me to turn around and put it back in the bin he laughed and said the owner of the company is requiring all returns with restocking fees that's bullshit. I understand if you have to ship it back to a company or take it to another warehouse and have employee time to restock it, but it literally is 5 feet from the cash register and they're still going to deduct a percentage. I will no longer be doing business with them and going to another metal company.
