Followed the advise by other Yelpers on my Italian Food Tour - not really a tour just eating everything I can grab. Ordered Ragu di Carne, Ragu' di Pollo, four Pizza Farcita, and a 4 Formaggi. The 4 Formaggi was the best of the bunch - creamy and fresh tasting. Was going to take a picture but it was devoured before I could do it. Now I'm off to the Museum jut a few steps away.

This place was pleasant surprise! Amazing pasta and warm service. The pasta is handmade and presented in a cute to-go box.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Good gelato and coffees, and excellent takeout pasta. Had the carbonara special, which was excellent.

Great little takeout spot serving up hearty portions of homemade pasta in traditional takeout containers.

Friendly owner, no rush or push. Bought some jars with truffle honey (big and small) from just 7 Euros to 20 Euros a jar. Then a few bottles of Extra Virgin Olive Oil - from some smaller producers. Always fun to try new olive oil. And these we bought here tasted great when we used them at home. Prices very fair from 8 to 20 Euros a bottle. They sell a lot of their fresh and dried pasta as well. Looked very good, but we just didn't have much more space to carry. Maybe next time. A nice little independent shop. Great quality products.

Pasta! Pasta everywhere!…read more It was always hard for me to figure out what soveneirs to take home from trips. This time, coming from Venice, it was easy - locally made wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and pasta. Research brought me to this local, 100 year old, pasta place. Considered new by italian standards, but still making traditional pasta as good as the older ones. They also make flavored pasta like herbs, pizza, and squid ink. I loved that they make the pasta onsite. Supposedly, if one comes early enough, you can get a demo and possibly a pasta cooking lesson. They also offer sauces, olive oils, balsamic vinegar, truffles, and wines. In addition to those things, it's one of the few stores in Venice that carry asian groceries. Not a lot, but they have some. The price is also not too bad. It's cheaper than other places and had better pasta selection. This is a good, small shop to get food souvenirs from and I highly recommend it.

Started in 1948 by Luciano and his wife, it's now run by their two sons. The warmth and hospitality of a family owned business shines through and they're proud to show the quality merchandise they have on hand. A dizzying 600 Italian wines can be found towards the back of the store and you're welcome to stay and peruse as long as you want. We choose a half bottle of Moscato for the bf's sister in law which went well with the biscottis they had on hand too. They carry a good variety of chocolate and candies, pastas, dried goods etc. But you really need to come for the spices! Every spice known to man is here in this shop, kept in tightly sealed glass canisters or wooden boxes. They are weighed and you're charged accordingly. Don't miss their truffle salt and truffle butter! I only got mini bottles of both since there was no more room in our luggage! We couldn't be more happier with our purchases here and at a fraction of a cost if we would've gone to a big chain store. A great find!

We stumbled upon this wonderful store in the San Palo district near the Rialto Bridge and later found out that it was one of the best as recommended by a local guide.
