Tortellini with olive oil and sage
    Peter C.

What an amazing place to stumble upon. It's like fast food pasta. Tortellini with olive oil and sage was so good. Can tell the ingredients are all fresh. It was so good that I went back for more Tagliatelle with bolognese. Pasta was AL DENTE. Seasoning was on point and the man in the front was so friendly too. Great place to stop for a delicious snack

Gnocchi fromage with Parmesan and pepper

I thought the gnocchi here was one of the better ones that I've had in Venice and Florence. Cicchetteria is still my favorite but this is a close second. For the gnocchi fromage with fresh Parmesan and black pepper. You choose your sauce and pasta type so kind of like a build your own type thing which is nice. Gnocchi is made on site and has very good texture and flavor. Worth a try. Served in a bowl to go style as no seating but do have a small counter where you can stand and eat if you want to enjoy it there or you can take it away and eat it somewhere else.

Amazing food- standing room only. Gnocchi with pesto was to die for. So was the tiramisu.

Amazing "fast food" pasta place that's perfect for a midday snack or quick lunch. You simply choose your pasta type and preferred sauce for 8 or 9 euros. We got tortellini with butter and Sage sauce + tagliatelle with bolognese. Both were delicious - so simple yet such great quality and flavors. Would stop by here any chance I could get!

Such a cute little spot for delicious pasta on the go, in a city full of mimicry and touristy restaurants this place was so refreshing and the staff was so nice!

Easy to order for tourist, food was great, convenient, and affordable. This was a one day trip for us and the food was delicious and quick for on the go

Stopped here while in Venice for lunch. This is a fast takeaway pasta option that is SO GOOD. They have 2 table to stand & eat inside if you choose. We got the Gnocci with Butter and Sage + Tagliatelle with Pesto. We are definitely going back. Don't miss this! As an added bonus, the girls working were so nice. Great customer service.

So very good! Tastes like authentic Italian food that took hours to make. Not a bad price for a hefty portion. We tried the spinach gnocchi and bolognese. It was good but a tad salty. However, the winner of the show was the tortellini with the tomato and basil sauce! Perfection! Only reason for 4 stars is that there were no chairs to sit in, and we were exhausted!

Delicious food and good value. Owner is helpful with pairings of pasta plus sauce. Also no plastic for takeaway which is rare in Italy!

Friendly owner, no rush or push. Bought some jars with truffle honey (big and small) from just 7 Euros to 20 Euros a jar. Then a few bottles of Extra Virgin Olive Oil - from some smaller producers. Always fun to try new olive oil. And these we bought here tasted great when we used them at home. Prices very fair from 8 to 20 Euros a bottle. They sell a lot of their fresh and dried pasta as well. Looked very good, but we just didn't have much more space to carry. Maybe next time. A nice little independent shop. Great quality products.

Pasta! Pasta everywhere!…read more It was always hard for me to figure out what soveneirs to take home from trips. This time, coming from Venice, it was easy - locally made wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and pasta. Research brought me to this local, 100 year old, pasta place. Considered new by italian standards, but still making traditional pasta as good as the older ones. They also make flavored pasta like herbs, pizza, and squid ink. I loved that they make the pasta onsite. Supposedly, if one comes early enough, you can get a demo and possibly a pasta cooking lesson. They also offer sauces, olive oils, balsamic vinegar, truffles, and wines. In addition to those things, it's one of the few stores in Venice that carry asian groceries. Not a lot, but they have some. The price is also not too bad. It's cheaper than other places and had better pasta selection. This is a good, small shop to get food souvenirs from and I highly recommend it.

We choose a half bottle of Moscato for the bf's sister in law which went well with the biscottis they had on hand too. They carry a good variety of chocolate and candies, pastas, dried goods etc. But you really need to come for the spices! Every spice known to man is here in this shop, kept in tightly sealed glass canisters or wooden boxes. They are weighed and you're charged accordingly. Don't miss their truffle salt and truffle butter! I only got mini bottles of both since there was no more room in our luggage! We couldn't be more happier with our purchases here and at a fraction of a cost if we would've gone to a big chain store. A great find!
