What a wonderful to experience today with PHU pronounced FU. I needed to get my nails done badly and of course I waited till the last minute. Isn't it nice to meet a nail masseuse who is respectful but also a great sales person who knew how to upsell me and at the same time he is a spiritual man with the fear of God in him and that resulted in an honest man. Horrible customer service. I have been doing my nails at this place for 6 years. Two of my nails broke before a week and they wanted to charge me 7 dollars per nail to fixed it when it's supposed to last at least 2-3 weeks. They told me it was my " fault" and they will not guarantee that the nails won't break. I said I understand but it hasn't even been a week and the gel already shipped out and broke. I talked to my technician and he told me he will fix it no charge but next time I'll have to pay. read more

I went to Venetian for the first time. During my manicure, I showed the manicurist (Will?) that my nails were uneven and not smooth after he filed them. He looked annoyed and minimally tried to fix them. I showed the manager, who also had no interest in helping. I paid and left with only a clear coat as I no longer felt comfortable there. I went to my local salon a few days later and they fixed everything. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

As a man who likes to take care of his feet, they certainly don't want the "male" business as they do not have 1 male service. I get the $46 pedicure which should be a great experience, however, today my nail tech took 20 minutes with NO foot massage which is included in that high price, no real anything that was worth the price of $46. I've been getting this done every 2-3 weeks at Venetian for 5 years and over 10 years regularly. Just not right when paying that much. I have watched them do womens feet and it's a much different experience and takes much longer (yes i know they get toes painted but not talking about that). I brought my own polish thankfully he ended up not getting that far anyway and I just did a regular fill. I walked in for a pedicure and there was no wait to be seen. The salon is very large and had a luxurious feel. The pedicure chairs were nice and all of the gadgets actually worked. The technician did exactly what I asked for style-wise. The experience was all-around great and I plan on going back. The reasons this is not 5 stars is because (2) gel is a $20 up charge, which is very steep and slightly confusing when other salons charge $5 or $10; and (2) if you pay by credit card there is no option to tip by credit card. read more

I hate giving bad reviews but I've tried out this location three times and I'm just sad. First two times were solid gel color and the nail techs missed big chunks of nails and color started to chip at 1.5 weeks. Last and most recent time I went I asked for a fairly basic nail art (just abstract lines on beige color). Nail tech proceeded to shame me that it was "too basic". I know better now that I should've held my ground but I figured she knew was she was talking about. She was very meticulous- wiping the nail each time she was unhappy with her design but I am just not sure how the nails I walked out with were the ones she was happy with. I have never been so embarrassed of my nails in my life. One day later my pointer finger is already chipping and is cracking on my other nail. She charged me $60 for this. Came here for my birthday nails today and they totally botched them. I spent $80 not including tip for a gel manicure and reg pedicure and though the pedicure was fine, the manicure was lumpy on almost every nail. I was in a rush and left even though one of the gel nails was leaking nail polish and had a gap between the nail and the gel. However, later in the day the gel completely came off and the nail is now getting polish all over everything I touch. I went back in to ask that the fix the one nail since at this point I dont even care about the lumpy nails and was asked to come back in the morning. I said I'd rather do it now, it's just one nail, and then they asked if I could come at 6, over an hour later. Actually, no because I have my birthday dinner....so now headed to dinner w a bandaid over the nail leaking polish and a botched manicure otherwise. After I go back to get the nail fixed, I will not be returning to this salon. read more

I thought my experience would be different but it wasn't. The color that I picked was completely different from the actual polish. & the polish had the same number so they need to change that. The whole process felt rushed from the beginning. Nails are crooked, indented & overall I don't like my nails at all. This is my first time trying this place out & giving it a chance but I'm not coming back here again. The only thing I can say is that the staff is nice & the place it self is very luxury feeling. But the service & quality is just not there. & mind you I'm not the type of person to complain a lot I usually overlook minor details but I felt really cheated today. The foot massage was even painful that I had to say multiple times to please stop, that's the first time I've had a pedicure where I had an issue with the massage part. I think it's important to be mindful or at least watch a YouTube video on what places to put pressure because it was just painful. Last time I tried nail Trendz for the first time as well & completely loved my experience. Unfortunately for me they are closed on Sundays, which is why I came to Venetian today. When I first entered there was someone complaining about the pricing & talking to the front desk, I thought to myself (that's a little much) but now I get it. Because I paid $123 for this & im not happy. & yes I did not give a tip which is the first time I've ever done that. & the reason being is because the nail tech is completely aware that they're rushing the process, they just don't care. & usually I feel bad & tip them anyway but at this point it's ridiculous. I stopped getting mani/pedis when the pandemic started. Some things are just not worth putting yourself at risk for, but today I felt brave enough to venture out for a quick service. This morning I went to Venetian just to have my toenails cut and a quick polish change on my toes. I didn't want a full pedicure because my intention was to keep my time in the salon as short as possible. Long story short, the tech cutting my toenails cut me with the clipper and my toe started bleeding. It hurt like hell and all I saw was the blood. The nail tech applied Neosporin and another liquid medication that I don't know the name of, but it was in a small green bottle. The tech said & I quote "don't worry-it's nothing." I'm sorry but getting a pedicure shouldn't hurt to the point where I scream "ouch" or to the point where blood is involved. She kept "shushing me" which infuriated me even more. She continued doing my nails like nothing happened. I asked her to stop and get a manager asap. I probably could have been nicer to her but with her lackadaisical attitude, I was pissed off & I didn't hold back. The manager apologized & said he wouldn't charge me for the service. La-Di-Da, what made him even think I would pay? How much could a polish change and getting my nails cut possibly cost? Ten bucks maybe?!? Money means nothing to me. What means something to me is how a situation is handled. This was an EPIC FAIL. Another tech finished up and she did a good job with my polish. I tipped her generously because she reapplied the Neosporin and made sure the bleeding stopped. Her name is Lucy and she was kind and caring, nothing like the original tech who was anything but. I sat for a few minutes for my nails to dry and I left. On my way out the manager mumbled "sorry" and looked in the opposite direction of my face. Was he such a coward he couldn't look me in the eye? At one point I asked him if he would pay my medical bill if I had to go to the doctor. He shook his head. If shaking his head meant yes or know, I don't have a clue. My fear is getting an infection due to the negligence of the nail tech. I was there when they first opened this morning and that was over four hours ago. At this point my toe still stings. If I start to see redness or any signs of an infection I will go to urgent care. I am beyond mad that they thought not charging me would make this all go away. Nobody tells me to "shush", especially when I am sitting in their pedicure chair bleeding. I can't recommend this Venetian location anymore. I will stick with the Coconut Creek Venetian where they are always true professionals. Not negligent and uncaring like the management here. read more

I went to the venitian nail salon for one particular manicurist. They were very attentive until I found out that when I was leaving that my 10 minute massage was $20. That is a ridiculous price. It should only be $10 and it is Ludacris. I am a massage therapist myself and $20 doesn't call for a 10 minute massage in a chair with an unlicensed massage therapist . in addition, I was leaving vacation. They told me my nails were dry and when I left, I had to redo three nails. I will never return. read more

this used to be my favorite place. But the last few times I've gone there's always an issue. It started with me calling in to make an appointment. I usually get a confirmation text immediately. I didn't get one so I called the next day to confirm and they did not have me on the schedule. my nails r very brittle rn so i didn't want to soak my gel off. i asked the Tech if he could wrap my nails instead of soaking them. He refused and gave me attitude. I didn't want to make a whole thing so I soaked them. then the guy who did my toes goes to do my nails. He cuts them all off. legit yells at me a few times. awful bedside manner. refused to do a simple thing and proceeds to cont yelling at me besides the fact that they looked awful. he then legit made me bleed, was rough, it hurt the entire time and he had no idea what he was doing. moreover. he made me feel so disgusting about my nails. so much so. i asked one of the managers i know being i'm a long time customer --when she walked by that i need someone else to finish my nails. she was v nice and did them while he storms off. the manager is a class act. i love her. but i still left in shock. i wasn't being rude or snobby. i was being nice and am just sad w my nails and i def don't need someone yelling at me and making me feel bad about my nails. i seriously have to rethink about coming back as they didn't give me a discount. i paid and tipped full price. i always tip a great amount but after today. i'm just v disappointed. the guy in the picture enclosed is the male tech in question. read more

When I expressed my concerns and requested to speak to the manager, she would not give me her name and was met with a dismissive attitude. The manager not only failed to address my concerns but also refused to provide any guarantees on the work done. This lack of accountability and customer care left me deeply disappointed. As a customer, I believe it is essential to receive the quality of service that I paid for. Unfortunately, Venetian Nail Salon fell far short of meeting these expectations. My rating is - I had a wonderful experience three weeks ago with a great gal named Lee. I asked for her specifically yesterday and was told she's not really a tech. So they passed me on to someone else who was great at upselling, but terrible at dip. I spent $200 in the salon and left with terrible nails! Bumps, dips and she even broke my own nail. NOT EVEN ON A BAD DAY, NEVER AGAIN VENETIAN Called in for a same day appointment at 11am for 2 pedicure and 1 dip powder manicure. Arrived at appointment time 2pm, offered the Pedicure menu. I asked my assigned tech Tony which pedicure included the metal foot file, I was told the Classic included this service, so I selected this. When the time came for the callous remover and foot file. Was told "I don't need it, they don't have one". He completed my French gel pedicure. The photos shown is day 4, and the gel is already peeling. Moving on to the nails: I was given a bowl of acetone to soak off my existing dip powder. After soaking, Tony used a powered drill style nail file to remove remaining powder. Using this method, proceeded to file at a speed that BURNED my nail bed not once or twice, but 3 separate times during the service, I recoiled! Then proceeds to say "you sensitive". The dip powder service has specific steps and shaping techniques, including removing all dip powder from the nail bed and not filling, shaping the hardened powder, Filing the nails on all sides, shaping the cuticle and nail, and then applying Step 4 or a gel top. Anyone who receives this service will immediately be able to tell from these photos that this Dip Powder service was incomplete and sloppy. Even the French nail design was not done correctly. This service also took approximately 2 hours which I cannot get back. I'm my opinion, I did not get what I paid for. When addressed, the only remedy the Spa Manager would offer was to have it redone "for free" (free? I already paid and didn't get what I paid for) at their salon only by "someone better". I have ZERO trust in the salon doing any better than this and stated that I would prefer either a gift certificate to take my business to another Venetian location (I don't live in Boca) or a full refund for the dip powder service. The manager proceeded to say that having it redone was the only remedy and would not offer refund, and other spas were "different ownership", then proceeded to say "have a nice day". I've been to 2 other locations and they were just as bad, Plantation, Bal Harbour Shoppes in east Fort Lauderdale, and also Flagler Village. Bad Bad Bad... I probably wouldn't have even use a GC had they given me one, and if they offered to fix it in the moment it would've take another 1-2hour out of my day. Who has time to deal with poor "professionals"? No one, you stole my time and owe me $97 for a French manicure and 3 weeks of my life for my nails to grow back normally, about 35 pieces of hair that ripped out bc they are caught on this garbage nail job, and about 3 years of my life due to how annoyed I am. read more

Yesterday I desperately had to soak if my nails and get a regular manicure with polish. I got William as my nail tech and all I have to say is I am disappointed. He is a very nice guy but was rough with my already thin nails, he did not cut my cuticles properly, didn't ask me what shape I wanted and the ridges on my nail from having dip are still visible. I know I can give myself a better manicure than this. Have a look, make sure to zoom in on the cuticle. It's a shame I spent my money on this really. This place is shady as hell. I dropped my 15 year old off to get her nails done as a special treat. She did her due diligence and called to ask how much it would be and gave specifics of what she was looking for. They told her between 45-55. WhenI picked her up she was beside herself because they charged her $70. This was for plain white acrylics. I went in to try and explain that this really wasn't ok and they should have communicated better to which the jerk behind the counter said, "well it starts at 45-55". That is NOT what she was told and if it was then this would be a different conversation. They completely took advantage and blamed it on "miscommunication". To make it worse, my daughter was so upset she went in to try and talk to him and he said "It's ok baby." She told him not to call her that and he said "well your mother said you were only a child." What in the actual hell goes on at this place. Just be upfont about prices instead of being super shady. read more

This is my SPOT! It's been years since I've gotten my nails done, I usually do my own. But lately have been treating myself to a pedicure. I found this place online and LOVE it. The staff is super friendly, the place is SUPER clean. The prices are decent, you definitely get what you pay for. I was offered a beverage and decided on a glass of wine. They sat me on a super comfy chair that massaged every inch of my back. The lady doing my pedicure what the sweetest! She took her time and made the experience even greater with her magical hands massaging my little piggies. I love this place and its such a treat coming here after a long week of work.
