Piper at the front desk and Lauren, my massage therapist, were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lauren mentioned she had over 17 years of experience and it showed. Her technique was impeccable, and my 60-minute massage (with hot stones, highly recommend!) was amazing. I also loved the sauna. It didn't feel cramped, and the cold foot bath paired with the variety of essential oils for the hot rocks made it even more special. If you're looking for a true luxury spa experience, go to Bloom. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Cassandra and Mike!

The setting is very calm despite being at a busy corner of West Stadium. There were a few other people in the spa at the same time, but not so many that it felt intrusive or crowded. My experience started with a massage. It was relaxing but not up there with the best massages I've gotten around town. Next came the infrared sauna, which was probably my favorite part. With relaxing music and heat all around, I was able to zone out and enjoy myself. The float pool was next. I liked the waterproof headphones to listen to zen music as I floated, but the air temperature kept the parts of my body that were above water pretty chilly. I ended up cutting that part short as a result. Overall it was a good experience. I wish their parking were better marked (I parked in a lot to the left of the building as you're looking at it from the front). I also felt like the scheduling process was a little informal and unprofessional. I called and instead of returning my call, I got a text message back with informal grammar "Texting u from Bloom wellness" - it came off as sloppy.

My husband and I came in to try the cryotherapy. We are a big believer in self-care and wellness so an easier option to cold plunges are a driver. Cryotherapy has been around since the 1800s, but was officially discovered by a Japanese rheumatologist in the 1970s. Cold therapy has been around for years, but being able to condense a treatment to 3 mins and help everything. I definitely wanted to try this. In addition to cryotherapy, we tried Restore's core services which include compression, red light therapy, and infrared sauna. The infrared sauna was one of my favorite core services especially since my husband and I could do this together. Most services you can do by yourself or with another person. After our first day, we signed up for a week of unlimited services. We wanted to evaluate the benefits with a week long of working out. We definitely saw an increase of energy, restful sleep, and better skin! Everyone at Restore is so kind and helpful! There was no pressure to purchase more or commit to a membership, which made me want to come back!

I would 10/10 recommend to any athlete, anyone looking to improve their immunity, decrease stress levels or just improve overall health. Your first IV is 50% off, $50 off your first facial and first 2 cryo session for just $30!!

I really enjoyed my time here, and when I saw a deal for two sessions for $39, I jumped at the chance to finally pay them a visit. Walking in, you're quickly greeted by a friendly staff member who gives you the rundown of the whole place. You can "build your own profile" of what you like and don't like when visiting. Whether you're a frequent flyer or an occasional visitor, they keep track of things like what lighting you like, any music preferences and temperature as well. It makes it easier for return visits. The rooms here are spacious, private and extremely clean. The sliding doors lock for privacy, you are given three fresh towels each time. One towel for the floor, and two for your personal use in and out of the sauna. Trust me, with all the sweating that goes on, you'll go right through them! You can also hook up your phone via bluetooth if you have a specific set of music or audio book's to listen to when here. If you don't that's fine, you can use the remote in the sauna room to tune in to any "channel" you wish. I usually go with something soothing and a beachfront view for me. At the end, you have a eucalyptus face towel to wipe yourself down. It really smells great and helps cool off. You can even use it on your body too! Each session lasts 40 minutes, and the temps here start at 140 degrees. You can work up to 180 degrees, but they ask that you do it eventually with regular visits so you don't cook your insides. You can do whatever you want in the sauna, and usually I do some yoga poses to help stretch out my leg and back. It does help with stress reduction, relaxation and getting out any toxins or knots you may have in your body. As someone who does hot yoga as well, it's nice to just kind of lay there and sweat things out. There's about 10 rooms available, so there's never a shortage or wait to get in. They also have a new feature in two of the rooms called Halo Therapy. It's an extra $15 per session that disperses salt particles into the air to help with any respiratory issues you may have. In the future, I'll probably try this. Sounds like an oceanside experience? Sweet! Add that to my list of things to do. Overall, I'm glad they're here, and will continue frequenting them on the regular. So far, it's the only location in Michigan for now, so it might be a drive for some. Fabulous experience especially in the wintertime.

Well let me tell you - DO get their "Famous D'Artagnan' Ribeye." It's now $40 (vs. $36 on the website menu) but trust me - steak hits different sitting in a robe post-sauna. It's 16 oz and you get two sides with it. Onto the bath house details -- they're super friendly and will give you a tour if it's your first time. High-level: there are men & women's locker rooms, but all the fun stuff is downstairs: dry sauna, wet sauna, cold plunge. When we went, the dry sauna was closed/broken SO it was such an experience to be in a packed wet sauna. It looked like like there was platza happening - like the whole getting smacked by leafy branches while laying down in the wet sauna. Ha. It smelled like eucalyptus to me though! It was actually pretty nice. The wet sauna is three tiers of seating and since heat rises, if you want to feel like a steamed dumpling -- sit at the top! Then, from the sauna - you jump into the cold plunge and then rinse and repeat. The cold plunge was only about 65 degrees - I wanted it to be colder! The Schvitz is very old school - wooden paneling, black & white tile. So, it's by no means a Canyon Ranch, but it is an experience and so unique! "Weird and wonderful" as a friend put it. All the folks working from the front desk to the kitchen were so so friendly - I'll definitely be back!

Place feels historical and went during coed hours. It was fun slowing down and talking with strangers. People there were cool. There is a restaurant and they have free water. Helpful due to all the sweating and the cold pool (due to pressure natriuresis for those who know renal physiology). Call a plumber....The lower level seemed like it could use some attention. In the main room with the pool, water was not draining into the floor drains and creating puddles. Further, it seems like the place could use a nice scrubbing. There is a restaurant in the first floor and the staff is very friend to new comers explaining where the locations are within the building.
