I recommended him to anyone I knew who talked about car repairs. however the 2nd time,he misquoted me price &I assumed he did but he said he would be out the next week. I got the parts needed, texted him about 3xs asking when he could come.no reply.bad communication and customer service.if he misquoted me(and I figured he did) i am very easy to get along with alls he had to do was tell me so.knowing I would have to go somewhere else & pay the higher prices. it's breaks & rotors& i have a kid..it's a safety issue & I would of paid whatever he asked... after the 3rd text I sent & no reply.. I had to go somewhere else 40 mins away to get them done asap..and even more than the price he should have quoted me at. This was disappointing as I am a woman who knows nothing about cars & was looking for a long term mechanic.I would of gotten him a lot of business too working at P&G and my coworkers in the same situation as me.. where this would of been very convenient for a lot of ppl: so I went back & told the people I suggested him to.. how bad his communication was nothing like my 1st experience so up to them to use. but I no longer suggest. still never heard back. no "I'm sorry I misquoted" or a reliable company could of matched the price as his fault he misquoted. but regardless I would of paid him what he asked for good communication and convenience.. so sad ! could of had a long time customer here as my car is getting close to 100,000 miles and it's going to my son in a couple months & I definitely want to keep up with services for my kid to be driving. :(

SR September 3, 2026…read more I have more than 20+ years of dealing with Tire Mart in Frederick and I have never been disappointed. The entire team is dedicated to safety and treats your vehicle with that in mind. I have confidence in the mechanics as they are knowledgeable and capable. It is a family owned and run business. They must be doing something right when there is a two week waiting period for work to be done. I have had them perform brake replacements, oil changes and inspections. The work has always been top notch with no issues. There was only one time I had a minor issue with an oil change. After the oil change, I noticed there was a small amount of oil leaking from my oil pan. I brought the car back to them and they found that the oil drain plug washer had a split in it. They promptly replaced the washer and any lost oil at no charge. They stood behind their work and admitted the mistake. That's the kind of service and company I want to do business with. While their prices may not be the cheapest, they certainly are not the highest. I have found their prices to be fair and reasonable. The work and parts are of excellent quality. I recently purchased a gift card from Liberty for my son because he needed new tires for his pick up truck. He told me that Liberty's tire prices were hundreds of dollars cheaper than a shop he had been using previously. The shop has six car bays for repairs. They not only sell tires, but they perform many types of auto repais, including A/C repairs, engine repairs, brakes, exhaust, electrical/wiring, etc. Their is a samall waiting area if you want to wait for your vehicle. They have a large parking lot to hold plenty of vehicles. They also offer to loan you a car when available if needed, to allow customers to use it if needed to get to work or home. I don't know of other repair shops that offer that kind of service. If you can't bring the car to the shop the day of repairs, you can drop if off the evening/night before and drop your key into an envelope and key box with instructions of what needs to be done. I wholeheartedly and easily recommend this business.
