I & my CAU crew go way back with Gut Busters, circa "in school". We were never disappointed & always left with a busted gut...in a good way. I just landed & wanted something Vegan in the Camp Creek/Fulton Industrial area & my trusty Yelp App led me here. A little excitement for the presence of V food for the V crew & in the area. A little more excitement when the employee told me that the same Owners of Gut Busters who hails from Philly Veggie Busters. Talk about Nosh Nostalgia. Of course, I had planned to go Vegan Ham on ordering, yet both items I wanted were sold out - Boneless Wings aka Cauliflower Florets & Vegan Chili. But hey, it's really all about the Cheesesteaks right? I ended up ordering both the Philly & Chicken steak sandwiches, Sweet Potatoe Fries that are sprinkled with Cinnamon - definitely not my thing, Fried Green Beans & Crispy Fried Hearts of Palm. Unfortunately, everything besides the SP Fries was salt overload, especially the sandwich fillings & Green Beans. Not one to waste money on food so I made a salad out of my Chicken Cheesesteak which offset the extreme sodium intake & taste. Besides Cheesesteaks, VB offers Burgers, Sausages & Daily Specials like Spaghetti & Meatballs. I'll be back when in the area to try something new.

Confused looking at our phones in search of a really good vegetarian restaurant we kept coming across Veggie Busters which we assumed was Gut busters because of their location. We skimmed across this place every timed it popped up when we searched even though we were in the area. Finally on the way to a neighboring restaurant we saw a new extension of Gut Busters and had to see if it was what has been coming up on our phones. To our surprise it was indeed Veggie Busters in a small space along side of Gut Busters. This place had a really nice vibe upon walking in and the workers greeted us very politely. It was empty which gave them time to explain majority of the items on the menu. The Food We started with the obvious, "Fried Portabella Mushrooms". Fried perfectly we figured if they made a mistake with this dish then we would pop opted out of any other orders. After trying these it was evident we wanted to taste more. Fried Zucchini chips Similar to the fried mushroom these were different and felt healthy. Fried lightly this would be a goto order if we ever dropped by Veggie Busters. Fried Cauliflower Another Classic Vegetarian Favorite offering a variety of sauces you can add to this side satisfying your tastebuds. Italian Meatball Sub We ordered this dish for our youngster and she loved every bit of it being that she eats meat. " It was good it had bell peppers and unions on it mmmmmm mmmm" was the her exact words! Extremely satisfied. Shrimp Po'Boy We ordered the Po'Boy due to recommendations from the cashier. He explained how it tasted identical to a Po'Boy ( Being that Leezy is originally from Louisiana) so we gave it a try. One word.. Disgusting. It tasted almost like it was some type of pickled mayonnaise on it and wasn't dressed like a Po'Boy at all (See Pic below). The bread seemed right because of other pictures we saw but it ultimately was hoagie bread. Never again. Shameless Cajun Sausage This sausage was pretty tasty because Leezy smashed this while trying to capture a picture of it. It was dressed good and had sauce all on top of it making it look like a polish sausage. Footlong Veggie Turkey wrap Our turkey wrap wasn't anything special besides the turkey tasted a little fake but keep in mind it is a alternative for meat. It was good because you can either chose a spinach wrap or a regular. We got spinach to further our vegetarian thoughts but it was nothing shy of a homemade turkey sandwich. Boneless Wings ( Sweet Thai Chili ) The wings were tasty with their sweet Thai chili sauce on it and taste like wings from an actually restaurant. We would absolutely recommend this dish because its so basic it can't be messed up. Order based off your taste buds. Brio Burger Filled with flavors this burger was exceptionally good! Corn was creamy, Potato strips were crispy, and it had different textures to it. Beware this burger is high in carbs so for a vegetarian this would probably be the only thing you can order without feeling fat. Philly cheese steak We highly recommend this dish because it tasted identical to a Philly and made it to our favorites list. All in all this is a decent place to grab a bit but its costly so if you don't want to run up your tab then we suggest going with what you are familiar with. 3 out of 5 stars -The Peezy's

The more vegan restaurants the better! I loved the food and the flavors. I ordered my Hearts of Palm Po'Boy & cauliflower wings to go. The cauliflower wings doesn't have a heavy batter which I prefer. However the flavor was amazing. The Po'Boy was one of the best I've had.

I really like this place! The cauliflower was so good and the smoothie was great! I'll definitely be returning.

What can I say but omg! This Philly made me think I was eating the real thing . It's also a black owned business. If you have a friend that wants the real thing , the sister company is next door . I give this sandwich 10 stars!! I can't wait to try the other items on the menu

Decided to get delivery for dinner. As a pescatarian, sometimes I'm limited. I didn't want Chinese, pizza or fish, so I was glad to see this location close by. The reviews all said that the Philly cheese steak was the way to go - yet the Tai cauliflower was calling me, too. But I REALLY wanted the fried mushrooms. So I settled on the Philly and shrooms. The food was great - but I knocked off a star because the Philly was a little heavy on the flavor of salt ( but STILL delicious!) and there was no dipping sauce for the mushrooms. Besides that, dinner was GREAT - meat-free and flavorful. I'm DEFINITELY going to have to try the cauliflower next to round!

Thai chili cauliflower wings and zucchini chips! So good!

The food was so delicious! I got the thai chili fried cauliflower wings, and the Zucchini chips !!! The zucchini was also cut pretty thick and the breading was tasty as well !! Both very fresh and perfectly fried! I can't wait to try the other vegan options they have !! I added on the spicy aioli for the zucchini chips very very good!!

I had the chicken philly and the fried heart of Palm and they both were great I do believe that the hearts of Palm needs a dipping sauce that comes with it but other in that it was fine the vegan banana pudding which was great as well I will return great atmosphere nice restaurant

The Shameless Cajun with no tomatoes. I added raw onions and jalapeños peppers. Zucchini chips

Oysters were good however we only could order 2 dozen total because they had to save for other customers. The drinks were okay however the bartender did remake it when I said, it tasted like juice. Also, the menu price of drinks was $16 but our check said $18..hmm! Overall it was a cool and we might go back.

This place is an absolute no! I don't care about hype, newness, or happy hour specials. If you have no food! And the service is trash! Keep it. Went here for happy hour, I think an oxtail item they were out of, and the $1.50 oysters. Ofc the bar for this to be new, felt old in there. The place was semi full, but had limited servers and 1 bartender. The manager spent his time correcting tabs, apologizing to guests, and scolding servers. Our server was a couch chewer for sure. This girl kept forgetting our drinks, and some of the items we ordered and lied about the food wait times. We spent entirely too long in there waiting for food and drinks. A shift change, not my problem. Be efficient. Sad part is, the food was really good, specifically the oysters when we finally got them, and the stir fry rice. My drink was weak, my salmon burger had a nice texture, it was fresh, but dry and flavorless. No need to return. I have countless places to try happy hour menus with oysters, if you put service above all else as I do, this is a no. The manager ended up comping our oysters as well and shared his frustration. I felt for him. They need to fix it.

The food itself was excellent. The menu is basically set, so you'd hope they do it well, and they do! Bread was great, salad solid, fries were the best I've ever had, and steak rich and delicious. Steak can be cooked to each person's preferred temperature which is also nice. It's definitely got a nicer atmosphere, good for a date night or celebration, and I would definitely come back.

We arrived at…read moreour reservation time and were seated immediately -- the host was very friendly and welcoming. I was a bit surprised to see that they were pretty empty inside (6:30pm on a Saturday seems like prime time), but the ambiance was pleasant, nonetheless. Our server was knowledgeable and walked us through the wine list -- I always appreciate when they don't just recommend the most expensive bottles. We ended up ordering a Sazerac and Corpse Reviver, but wished we had ordered wine. The drinks were both pretty warm, and it may be the first time ever that we've left cocktails unfinished. The bread and salad came out, and both were delicious. Our server did warn us that the cheese on the salad was not pasteurized, which seemed like a strange choice for a restaurant, but oh well. For such a simple salad, it was excellent. The bread and butter were great, too, but the olive oil tasted a bit rancid to me. Soon after we finished the bread and salad, our steak frites were served. I am normally a filet girl, through and through, but the NY Strip was so tender and flavorful that I forgot I wasn't eating a filet. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and despite the other reviews, the serving was plenty -- 7-8oz each. The fries were so good that I couldn't quit eating them, long after I was full. The garlic aioli and béarnaise sauce were delicious, as well. Definitely worth the $49/person! I found it a bit frustrating that the restroom was downstairs in their sister restaurant, Little Sparrow, but it wasn't really an issue. Overall, good food, good service, great ambiance, but the cocktails could use some work. Will probably return, but it's not at the top of my list.

The gentleman -JB...who served me at the bar was simply awesome. One negative was it was I guess costume party night and the host kept talking way too much and stopping the music. There is a Cigar bar connected. Free parking. There was a $20 cover.
