Do not do business with these people…read more A family member asked me to pick up an arch for a wedding and when I arrived to pick it up I was told that I needed to sign the rental agreement for the arch. I explained that I was just the driver and not the actual responsible party for the rental item. They had already paid and had not informed me that I would be signing a lease for wedding arch I was picking up. The sales staff was very rude to me and quite frankly in my opinion they do not have an ethical system of renting out thier items. They bully unsuspecting delivery drivers into signing leases for thier equipment. Here is my story. I was the only one in the family with a truck so naturally I agreed to come pick up the arch for my sister in laws wedding when asked. When I arrived they asked me to sign a lease for the equipment I was picking up. I was not aware I would be the person legally responsible for this several thousand dollar arch. It struck me as very unprofessional and bizarre that they didn't have the party who ordered this item and paid for it sign a lease agreement beforehand and nit the unsuspecting delivery person. If anything the delivery should sign off acknowledging that they have recieved said rental items. Instead the rude and aggressive lady and gentleman at Brookfield Party Rental bullied me into signing. I tried to work something out with them regarding getting the signature from my family member and coming back they very rudely and aggressively told me no that it needs to be the person picking up the item and then told me they were canceling the order when I said I would return back later with thier signature. Of coarse I signed the multiple page fine print leagal document because I didn't want my sister in laws wedding to be ruined. Of which I didn't even have time to read due to thier threats of canceling my sister in laws rental item and unloading it from my truck. They were very rude and have terrible communication and customer service skills. They also are unethical with thier expectation and aproach to getting thier lease documents signed under duress. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. If you do rent from them don't ask someone to go pick up a rental item for you without planning for thier backwards system.

Colin at Equipment Rentals was fantastic at listening, providing complete answers to questions, even when I had to call him back several times because the only dance floor option they had remaining available wasn't the ideal solution for us and I wanted to investigate other options. When I finally realized that ER was our best option, particularly because of their customer service, we rented with them.
