She was very professional and helpful and while children were playing in one area, she would clean and organize in another area. We stayed there for a few hours. My second visit was very different. When I walked in, there were three women there (one who was the owner, I could tell from photos I've seen of her online). She was there chatting with 2 friends while their children played. She also had her dog with her in the play area on the couch. It didn't feel professional to me and it felt like I was intruding in someone's living room. I wanted a latte and felt quite awkward to ask for one, like I was interrupting her hang out time, which is not how I felt during my first experience. Also- I know kids are kids but the children are obviously very familiar with the facility and they thought it was funny to turn the lights on and off in the back room where the playhouse is. I didn't stay as long during my second visit. I still think this cafe is nice to have in Shorewood and I will visit again, I just hope my next visit is more like my first one.

They handled the kids well, forming them in one line and having them take a seat when either was open. Lots of little girls were excited for HelloKitty specific designs. I also saw boys with full tiger face paints and some with spongebob on their foreheads. By the end of the event, just about every kid had a fun design. The two artists brought a lot of joy and fun to the families at the event. I would happily recommend them for your event too!

Candy was our lead from Chef Jack's, and she was incredible, coming out often to check on us and the flow of the room overall. They were incredibly accommodating to any and all allergies and dietary restrictions that we had with our guests, and not a single person was unable to be fed, and for two of my guests who had been to weddings where they were unable to eat, this was important to me. I would recommend Chef Jack's over and over again!
