As for the store, I was super pumped to find that everything there was 50% off. Dunno if this is just a pre-Christmas thing, but it sounds like it may be more the rule than the exception. So I shopped like a bawse, but alas, the one pair I had my heart set on was sold out in my size. One thing that did bother me a bit is that the aisles here are packed so tightly together you're constantly stepping over someone to grab what you're after. And then there isn't really a whole lot of real estate dedicated to sitting down to try on your shoes. Lots of apparel up front. Most of it is pretty simple, and not wildly unaffordable. At full price it was a little spendy, but with the half-off you can score some deals. Not crazy cray crazy deals, but solid deals.

They had a few men's style and I was surprised to find something I've been looking for! I'd been eyeing a pair of Prada or Gucci lug sole Penny loafers. A $1000 pricing was still temping me. I tried on a pair here (run small, so size up) and they fit perfectly. And at a tenth the price of the bougie brand. I wore them on a long walk to dinner and a show. Seriously comfortable the first block! I won't call them "knock offs," but just the look I have wanted. The ladies working were just darling and helpful. And yes, GF got fabulous knee high platform boots!

When I was walking to the convention center I noticed the heel didn't feel right, checked and it was splitting from the shoe. I went right back to the Steve Madden store to show them that both shoes had the heels pulling away and she refused to exchange them! Said they were already worn! I had them on for less than an hour, clearly the shoes are defective. I left angry and walked back to my room to change the shoes and the entire heel broke off and twisted my ankle! I have never experienced such poor customer service and lack of professionalism! A waste of $120, and I'm returning the 2nd pair I bought tomorrow! I will never do business with Steve Madden again!

Hope they're relocating elsewhere but who knows? Was my go to spot for Stussy and SB dunks for near 15 years but must confess I didn't shop there much after they couldn't stock/sell Stussy anymore and copping SBs became near impossible with all the reseller douches fucking the game up. Jeff and Hunter ran a good shop for a lot of years. Mandalay location will be missed but I hope you open elsewhere soon.

They want their real, loyal customers or Vegas visitors to stop by and purchase great drops. I moved from LA 3 years ago, and this has become my favorite sneaker store. The raffles seem pretty fair lately. I've entered a couple drops the last 2 years, and I've won a couple great ones. I just haven't won on super exclusive such as Futura or Verdy... I love stopping by and talking sneakers drop with the employees. They are willing to share what drops they may get, and which ones they are uncertain about. I love the thrill of potential FCFS drops for the last minute inventory. Although they are occasionally too busy to answer the phone, they definitely give great customer service in person. The sneakers and clothes are great value. The price is retail, so every sneaker drop is worth the shop. Lately, they have had a lot of dunk and SB inventory. They do limit 1 newly dropped sneaker per person to increase everyone's chances of getting their personal pair. :) Thanks again Suite160!! You know we show you love on Instagram @spSMILEYsneakers

Very Disappointing Experience at Coach Venetian…read more My wife and I are in Las Vegas for a few days and stopped at the Coach store at The Venetian. She found a pair of shoes she loved. The manager personally brought the pair out of the box, she put them on, purchased them, and wore them out of the store. The associate at the register told my wife she had 30 days for returns or exchanges, knowing she was wearing the shoes when we left. About 20 minutes later, after walking around the indoor shops on polished marble floors and carpet, my wife took one of the shoes off and we were shocked by the condition of the soles. They had extensive dark scuffs, marks, and wear that did not look consistent to us with approximately 20 minutes of indoor walking. When we looked at the box more closely, the tissue paper was also heavily crumpled and looked like the shoes had been handled before. We immediately returned to Coach. My wife did not want a refund. She loved the shoes and simply asked for another new pair of the exact same shoes. The manager refused, saying that once she wore them out of the store they could not be returned or exchanged. That was extremely frustrating because this same manager was the person who took the shoes from the box and handed them to my wife. She had no reason to turn over and inspect the soles before purchasing them because she reasonably believed she was being handed a brand-new pair of shoes. I even asked the manager whether the store had cameras. He confirmed that it did. I asked whether the footage could be reviewed to help determine the history and handling of this pair, but he would not do so. We cannot say whether these shoes had previously been worn or returned, but based on the condition of the soles after such a short period of indoor wear and the condition of the packaging, we had a legitimate concern and asked for a very reasonable solution: exchange them for a new pair. We weren't looking for money back. My wife wanted the shoes. We simply expected a new pair when purchasing new shoes from Coach. What should have been a fun purchase during our Vegas trip turned into an unnecessarily disappointing experience. I have photos of the soles taken shortly after we discovered the condition.

I was determined to get some Birkenstocks before my vacation, so I headed to South Premium Outlets…read more After checking 3-4 stores with no luck finding wide sizes, I decided to try Desert Birkenstock and I'm so glad I did! The service at Desert Birkenstock was exceptional. I wanted to try on several different styles in a range of sizes, and they provided everything I needed. I found my perfect fit! While Birks are a bit of an investment, they're well worth it. My first pair went strong for over 10 years and might have gone even longer if I hadn't gotten them wet. On top of the great service, they also offer a Yelp check-in discount and have a rewards program, which added value. If you're looking for the best in comfortable shoes, I highly recommend Desert Birkenstock!

Never did I ever think I would become a fan of Birkenstock sandals…read more Fast forward several years later and I am now a huge fan. I currently own six pairs of these wonderful sandals. I have purchased two of the six sandals right here. I wear these sandals all year long and one pair has sheepskin so I use them as slippers. They are the most comfortable and supportive sandal I have found. I know they don't always look super fashionable, but who cares when your feet are happy. They are a little spendy but you can often find great deals here and remember these sandals can last you a lifetime so in my opinion well worth the investment. There used to be two locations, but now only this one exists. It is not too far from where I live and I come here at least two to three times a year shopping for yet another pair. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Every season I receive a mini catalog with a postcard enclosed for a deal they will be hosting. I love taking advantage of their spring cleaning special. This includes you bringing in your Birkenstocks and dropping them off. They will treat them with cork sealer, clean the leather and give your sandals a thorough review for any issues that may need to be addressed. Price varies from year to year but I like to have one of my pairs worked on every year. They can also repair your Birkenstocks. In addition to Birkenstock sandals, they carry other brands of sandals and shoes like Vionic, Taos, Olukai (another great sandal), Keen, Dansko, and Alegria. For people that need arch support and insoles, pick up what you need here. This store is really a one stop/do it all shop and that will make me return over and over again.
