She really goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with your cut and style. It's been years since I've come across a stylist that makes you feel like their #1 priority. Bonus points for talking at length with me about the exact cut of my bangs. Most stylists I've been to gloss over this part of the cut leaving me with so-so results. I'm very particular about my bangs and Meagan gets it! As for the salon, itself, it is clean and simple, and the staff is super friendly - particularly Bobby! Highly recommended!

I send her photos of what I'd like done, she explains what it is to me and tells me what to expect. Not to mention, she also is SO gentle on my hair. I have a sensitive head and she's so gentle and respectful. She's also very easy to talk to and explains what she's doing and asks along the way if I'm certain that that's what I want. She's very knowledgeable too! I love Lindsay! The salon itself is really nice and clean. The staff seem to have a great relationship with each other. That makes me more comfortable going in too. I'd highly recommend Lindsay and Salon Eros to anyone!

I was a regular client of the owner of Eros Salon for approximately a year, going to her for hair…read moreextensions, color and cuts. My appointments were typically very long--often around six hours--and I spent a significant amount of money on my hair over the course of that year. Unfortunately, my most recent experience showed me exactly how little my business and loyalty apparently meant to her. Before my appointment, I texted to let her know I was running late. While I was already on my way, she began texting me about her 15-minute grace period and telling me she had another client after me. Fair enough--salons have schedules and late policies. But what happened when I arrived was completely unacceptable. Instead of having a normal, professional conversation with me, the OWNER began yelling at me. I was honestly shocked by the level of hostility, attitude and disrespect. I wasn't going to stand there and allow someone I had paid thousands of dollars over the course of a year to scream at me, so I left. Then came the dispute over the hair I had already paid for. Despite the appointment not proceeding, she refused to refund my money for the hair. That only reinforced my decision that I would never give this business another dollar. The most disappointing part is the owner's attitude. In my experience, she behaves as though she is somehow above her customers and entitled to speak to people however she chooses. There is an arrogance and unpleasantness that I overlooked for far too long because I had an established relationship with her and liked having consistency with my hair. This final incident was the last straw. Let's be clear: this isn't some exclusive celebrity salon where customers should feel privileged just to get through the door. It's a neighborhood salon in Hoffman Estates. Customers are the reason any salon stays in business, and treating a loyal customer as though she's beneath you is an incredibly poor way to run one. I fully acknowledge that I was late. If she couldn't accommodate me, all she had to say was, "I'm sorry, we need to reschedule." That would have been the end of it. Instead, she chose to yell at me and turn a scheduling issue into an ugly confrontation. After being a loyal customer for a year, I walked away from this experience thinking: Why did I ever tolerate this woman's attitude or spend this much money here? My recommendation is simple: steer clear of Eros Salon. There are far too many talented stylists and professional salon owners in the area to spend your money somewhere you may be treated with hostility and disrespect. I will never return, and I absolutely do NOT recommend spending your money here! The owners demeanor is deeply unpleasant, unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional!

At my request, he also gave a great recommendation to tame my flyaways with absolutely no pressure to buy. Bonus: the haircut price was very reasonable: comparable to Ulta and about half of what I've spent at Tricoci.
